and when they land in neverland
where never will they obey grown-ups' demand

adventures and pirate ships
wendy sings them to sleep
through the island they leap
where age will never take a grip

but home is what they sorely miss
little john's all forgotten about mama's kiss
no time in neverland there is
but it's been too long at least

so they're back from neverland's run
back playing daughter and sons
before it's too late, before mama and papa forget
back being a dream, peter pan they let
