A/n: Hello! Today's prompt is 'Double date disaster'! So, for today, I'm gonna put a Kailor and Pixane Double Date! We can't have JAYA stealing the show now can we? Hope you enjoy!

It was almost funny how easily everything went wrong.

At first, Kai thought it was a good idea to go on a double date with Pixal and Zane, not forgetting his amazing girlfriend Skylor. But he was a Ninja, he should have known that everything that could go wrong would go wrong.

It started with minor missteps, like him accidentally stepping on Zane's foot, or Zane accidentally freezing his drink, but they all ignored it as a little bad luck. Kai should have known better. He was a Ninja, of course destiny would go against him. He wouldn't even be surprised if the destiny writers were doing this to him on purpose, watching and laughing at him.

Then, they went to a beach side restaurant. Of course they had to go where there was water. To make it worse, the tide was high, meaning a small amount of water was on the restaurant floor. The others didn't mind of course, but he did. A lot.

Then came dessert. Where, of course the only thing available was the Christmas special, gingerbread. Kai hated gingerbread. He was almost afraid of it. Not that he'd admit, of course.

Then, to add the cherry to the top, they went to the their final destination, a podium. Immediately, Kai knew what was next. The thing he hated the most.

Skates.

He had protested, of course, but had been persuaded by Skylor to give them another chance.

He regretted agreeing to it.

But of course, he had to. If not for his pleasure, but for the other's.

He loved Skylor dearly, and was sure Zane felt the same way for Pixal, and he couldn't let his hate for skates get between their date now, could he?

Because this date might have been a disaster for him, but it was enjoyable for the ones he cared about.

And making his loved ones happy made him happy.

Ha! Take that Cloud Kingdom writers conspiring against him, he still enjoyed the date!
