Disclaimer: I don't own Ninjago or "Fly With Me" by the Jonas Brothers, just the story and my OC's.

I feel the song fits with the story and I LOVE JONAS BROTHERS!!!

Everyone arrived back at the monastery and saw Britney pacing in the living room.  She noticed everyone come back and marched up to her son.

"How could you be so irresponsible?!" Britney asked angrily, but then it turns to worry.  "Are you hurt?!"

"I'm fine mom," Max said.

"What were you thinking?!"

"Brit," Lloyd started.  "They were trying to prove that they were ready to defend Ninjago.  They were also trying to protect us."

Britney had a look of understanding.  "Ok...just make sure that you tell us next time before you go running off and fighting some bad guy."

"We will mom," Max said.

Jay turned to the kids.  "Why don't you guys head off to bed?" Jay said.  "It's late and you've all had a long day."

"Ok dad," Alex said and she walked over to Justin and Max.  "And we have a high school party tomorrow," she whispered to them.

The kids all went to bed and were happy that they finally proved themselves to their parents.

Kryptarium Prison

"Welcome to Ninjago Prison," the Commissioner said as he led Nathan to his cell.  "This is what happens when you plot against the ninja and their families."  He opened a cell and gestured for Nathan to enter.  "I hope you enjoy your stay.  It's going to be a while."

Nathan walked in and saw his father was his roommate.

"So...you failed," his father said.

"I would've succeeded if they hadn't found the location of the hideout," Nathan said.  "The machine was almost completed."

"But you lost it."

"I didn't.  I managed to send it to our other secret location before they had a chance to destroy it."

"Well in that case, we still have a chance.  I also found a girl while I was in here who could help us and I think you might like her."

"What's her name?"

"Yuying.  She is skilled and isn't a fan of the ninja."

"How are we going to break out?"

"Patience, my son.  Things take time."

Samurai X Cave

The next day

Rosie was working on her mech when Justin walked in.

"Do you ever just go and have fun?" Justin asked Rosie.

"I'm working on my mech," Rosie replied.  "It got damaged in our fight against Nathan."

"We won!  It's time to celebrate!"

"I celebrate by devoting myself to my work."

Justin frowned and then thought for a moment.  "How about I make a deal with you?  I help you fix your mech and then you let me take you somewhere fun."

"What do you know about repairing the Samurai X mech?"

"My dad grew up in a junkyard and my mom created the mech.  I would be a disappointment if I didn't know what I was doing."

Rosie thought for a minute and then looked at Justin.  She couldn't quite figure out why no matter what he did, she couldn't be mad at him or annoyed with him and found herself caving in.  "Fine."  They worked on repairing the damage that was done to the mech for a while.  When they were done, Rosie decided to figure out what Justin's game was.  "So, what 'fun' activity are we going to be doing?"

"There's a high school party tonight, or, well, in just a couple hours," Jusin said.

"You want me to go with you to a high school party?"

"Yeah."

"What about Alex and Max?"

"They're going too, but I spent an hour with them before coming down here and I felt like a third wheel the whole time."

"What about Juliet or Mason?"

Justin laughed a little.  "I'm gonna go clean up.  I'll meet you in the training yard in an hour."  Justin left and Rosie was left speechless by what she was just tricked into doing.

A house in Ninjago City

A couple hours later

Justin and Rosie arrived and looked around.  There were people from school everywhere.  Some people gave them weird glances as they entered which Rosie found intimidating while Justin just ignored it.  The party was at a big house, but they couldn't really see how nice the house usually was because of all the people that were crowded into it.  They walked around for a bit before seeing Alex and Max who were standing around.  Max had an arm around Alex as they watched people dancing to the music.

Alex noticed them.  "There you are Justin and...Rosie!  I didn't expect to see you here," Alex said.

"I made a deal with your brother," Rosie said.

"It's dangerous to make a deal with him."  Max and Rosie laughed at Alex's joke.

"What can I say?" Justin said.  "I have a devious mind."

A new song started playing.  (Imagine it being the one above.) "Ooh.  I love this song!" Alex exclaimed.  "Come on Max!"  Alex dragged Max out to dance with her which left Justin and Rosie awkwardly standing there.

Justin decided to break the silence.  "Do you wanna dance?  You know as friends."

"Sure," Rosie said.

They danced to the song, but then after, the music slowed down.  Justin shrugged and offered Rosie his hand.  Rosie took it and they started slow dancing.

"This is nice," Justin said.

"I'll admit that this has been fun so far," Rosie said.

Justin and Rosie started to stare into each other's eyes.  They started to lean in closer, but when Rosie realized what was happening, she stopped it.  Justin's eyes grew wide in shock and they both broke away.

"Do you want to grab some punch?" Justin asked awkwardly.

"That sounds good," Rosie said.

They became pretty awkward with each other for the rest of the party.

Ninjago High School

A couple of days later

Alex was walking to her locker when she noticed Justin standing by his locker at staring at something.  She followed his gaze and found his eyes fixated on Rosie who's locker was across the way.  She smiled as she walked up to Justin.

"So Justin.  Why are you staring at Rosie?" Alex asked.

Justin snapped out of his daze.  "What?" Justin said.  "I-I'm not s-staring at R-Rosie."

"Why are you stuttering?"

"What are you implying?"

"You like Rosie!"

"Me...like Rosie.  No!  She's a friend."  Justin noticed the 'you can't fool me' look that his sister was giving him.  "I don't even know what it feels like to like somebody that way."

"That's because you never had a girlfriend.  It's obvious you like Rosie and it's also obvious that she like you too."

"Why do you say that?"

"She keeps on wanting to be around you, like when she went into your room to check up on you after Nathan shoved you into the lockers or when she specifically came up to talk to you once at school."

"That's because we're friends."

"Answer me this, if you don't feel that way about her then why did you bring her to the party?"  Justin opened his mouth to talk, but nothing came out.  "That's what I thought."  Alex walked away.

'Do I really like Rosie?' Justin thought as he leaned back against the lockers.  'Why do feelings have to be so confusing?'

A/N: I hope you enjoyed!
