I am really happy right now! LORAINEJD is one of the most active and creative hosts on wattpad! I am glad that I was able to connect to her through those nostalgia awards!

This will most likely be my last judging for any awards on wattpad before going on a hiatus. And I feel lucky that I will leave after reading such good books! As a judge it makes it hard for me to come up with winners especially when the competition is so tough and as a writer it motivates me to strive for the best!

Since when did you start writing? What/Who inspires you to do so?

I have been writing ever since I was a child. But if we are specifically talking about this platform, then I have been writing for almost 2 years. Most of my stories are dark themed hence the brutal reality of today's world inspires me to pen it down.

What is your very first book to be written? What's your inspiration for this?

My very first book which is ongoing is "Broken Without You- A Ray of hope". It is based on Mahabharat an ancient Indian epic which revolves the Kauravas and Pandavas who battle in the Kurukshetra for the throne. Actually it is not an epic but rather our history. As a kid, I had read many book and had seen several movies about Mahabharat where the third generation were the center characters. Hence one day, I wondered what would have been the lives of their children after the game of dice and war? And thus started my writing journey!

In all of the books you written, which is your favorite and why?

In all of the books which I have written, my favorite one would be "The Mafia's Figlia"! I had the storyline in my head for almost a year before I wrote it on paper. I think it is my favorite, because of the major plot twists? There are three major plot twists which I have planned and I can bet that no one has written them before! It's the work which I am most proud of!

What's the book's genre? Sub-genre?

If we are talking about The Mafia's Figlia then the genre is Teen fiction and sub genres- Action, chicklet and Romance

Who among your original characters relates you most? Why and how?

Oh well I love this question! The character who I relate the most in terms of personality is Ae-cha! (The book in which she is,is not published yet) She is the eldest amongst her siblings, and being the eldest she has to set some good examples which they can follow. She is the definition of a perfect daughter, who despite being introverted and having a good amount of fear of camera is still ready to become an idol for her parents. I can relate to her because her fear of camera is my fear of being in public, being judged or talked about! The other reason why I can relate the most to her is because I made her based on one of my personalities!

Do you experience Writer's Block? How do you cope with it?

Ah well I was experiencing a writer's block this morning itself! I go through my books which contain the plotline or I start writing a chapter of some other book.

Historical, fanfiction, teen fiction and romance!

Have you judge any book awards before? Can you tell us your experience?

Yes, I have judged in several awards. I have always had a wonderful time reading new books and judging them. At times we get a lot of good books to judge but sometimes there are few books which end up having a really low score and so as judge it is sometimes hard to put it in words. While judging I try my best to provide constructive criticism in good words and also interacting with authors in the comments section.

Instead of writing/reading, what are you other hobbies/talents?

I love to paint and do gymnastics!

What is/are your biggest dream/s?

One of my biggest dreams to become a published writer and have a adapted movie. The other one is being an animator and starting the golden age of animation in India!

Do you have any tips for other writers out there? Here's your chance to let them hear your voice.

Before starting a story I am sure many of must be doing this, but write it on paper. (All the major arcs and plot twists) One of the most important key towards success is patience. So keep giving regular updates and interact with the readers in the comment section. We cannot expect our story to blow overnight can we? Consistency is required for that.
