"Okay Keith, say nya." Lance grinned and held up a cat treat Hunk made. "Come on! Nya!"

Keith tilted his head in confusion. "Nya?" He mewed, watching Lance.

"Lance, what are you doing?" Shiro groaned from the couch he was sitting on.

"Teaching him how to speak." Lance grinned. "Okay, now say Keith."

"Nya?" Keith blinked.

"No! Keith!" Lance tried again.

"Keith?" He mimicked Lance's pronunciation.

"Yes!" Lance cut off a piece of space ship they found. He held it out and Keith happily ate.

"Oh my god Lance." Pidge rolled their chestnut eyes. "Are you trying to train him like a dog?"

"I'm trying to speed up the process. If he can speak then maybe his mullet bearing mind will come back." Lance said. "Okay Keith, say Lance."

"Whatever, just stay quiet." Pidge groaned, stressed while trying to think of a way to get Keith back to normal. Keith wasn't completely sure what they were talking about, all he knew is that Pidge smelled like stress, and it seemed to be his fault. The cat eared paladin walked over to the green paladin. He meowed and nudged their hand.

"P-Pidge," He meowed and rubbed under their hands. "Sorry."

Pidge sat up and looked down at him. "It's not your fault. Oh...your hair is so soft." Pidge relaxed while petting their teammate.

"Um...I didn't teach him your name yet, or sorry." Lance's eyes were blown wide in a cartoonish way.

"If we can get his memories activated, Keith with ears and a tail wouldn't be too bad." Pidge hummed while scratching behind his right ear. Kieth purred loudly.

"So how do we get his Memories activated?" Hunk asked, walking in with some drinks for everyone.

"Does anyone have a journal or diary we can read to him?" Allura asked from where she was sitting with Coran and Shiro on the couch.

"I mean, I have Data Logs for the lions, but.." A spark flashed through Pridge's eyes and they jumped up, almost stepping on Keith's tail. Keith jumped away and started grooming his ears while the others talked. "Keith has the strongest bond with his Lion than any other paladin. That means that if we can get Red to feed Keith his memories we should be able to get his memories back into him.

"Well, nothing else has worked." Shiro stood up. "Lets try it!"

They all started towards the Lions. Keith didn't really seem there for it, like he hated everything, so he was acting quite normal! Once they reached the Lions Keith's tail fluffed up, and his ears went a bit back. He was unsure, and a bit scared.

"It's okay Keith." Hunk smiled softly.

The sounds of five different purrs lit up the room. They were too loud to be Keith, meaning the Lions were trying to sooth him. Keith seemed to settle down. He slowly walked up to red. He tilted his head.

"Red, do you think you can give Keith his memories back?" Shiro asked.

The red lion dipped her head. She nuzzled against his cheek with her nose before pressing her nose to his forehead. She purred. The paladins watched as Keith fell silent. His eyes went white, his tail and ears went limp with his arms and his mouth was parted. This lasted for a total of 18 minutes. Once Keith popped out of it, he fell to the floor. Everyone ran forward and watched.

Keith's eyes opened. His sharp violet eyes looked around hazily. "Wha hammed?" He slurred and sat up, pressing a hand on his tail before yelping. "OH MY GOD I HAVE A TAIL!" He yelled.

"Keith!" The Paladins grinned and he was enveloped in a hug.

"Get off!" He hissed and pushed them away. His tail was fluffed up. "Anyone want to tell me what happened?"
