'Come in' Eifad said after there is a knock at the door. Mr. Saxena entered the cabin, he quivered little. Eifad looked up, her piercing gaze meets Mr. Saxena and he gulped.

'Where are the interns list?' Eifad asked, her tone cold. Mr. Saxena fidgeted with his fingers, a sweat bead forming on his forehead as he said 'The list isn't ready yet, we have total of 10 interns...they will come next week'

Eifad frowned slamming the file she held. Mr. Saxena trembled 'Get out' she said menacingly. He nodded and left. Once outside, he sighed in relief.

Eifad then turned her attention towards her laptop, she switched to the tab watching Shad through the CCTV camera in his cabin. She found him sitting there going through some files, she leaned forward resting her elbows on the table she stared lovingly at him.

Shad is going through the reports of his patients, the head of his department, Mr. Singhaniya had given him the reports of the patient he will be handling. There is a knock and a peon entered in the cabin carrying a tray of tea. Shad leaned back against his chair rubbing his face with his palms and sighed. Work here is tiresome, being a doctor is never easy. One must always be on their toes. You never know when you will be called for emergencies.

'Doctor, you are needed in ward 302' a nurse said entering Shad's cabin taking him completely by surprise. He sat up straight and nodded his head. He stood up, taking his stethoscope he hurriedly left the cabin with the nurse.

Eifad sat up straight when she saw him leave the cabin with a nurse. She felt uncomfortable, she had heard they are going to ward 302, Eifad too hurriedly left her cabin- her destination, ward 302.

'You had a heart attack Mr. Khanna, thankfully it wasn't much serious. I have done your tests, will get the reports in half an hour' Shad said smiling at an elderly man, who lay on the bed looking worried.

'Sab theek hoga na?' the man, Mr. Khanna, asked in a worried tone. Shad nodded smiling, he placed a palm over his 'Yes, sir. You are in best hands' Shad assured the anxious Mr. Khanna, who nodded his head.

Shad then turned to the nurse standing beside him 'Sister...Anita, yes, yes. Get me Mr. Khanna's report after half an hour. Okay' Shad asked the nurse who nodded her head.

Shad shook his head and then looked at Mr. Khanna, they smiled at each other and Shad left.

As he stepped out from the ward he is surprised to find Eifad pacing outside the ward. She looked at him and quickly fixed her expressions. Shad frowned

'Is everything alright?' he asked, Eifad simply nodded and before Shad could say anything else she left.

Eifad peeked from behind the wall watching Shad standing there, he first looked confused and then he shook his head and went back into looking at the note-pad he held. Eifad fisted her fingers tightly when she saw the nurse coming out and speaking something with Shad. If it was in Eifad's hand she would have fired all the nurses from her hospital, she hated it when anyone especially a woman come near Shad. She wondered if she was the woman Shad was talking about.

Once in her cabin, she called Mr. Saxena 'Nurse Anita is having poor performance, fire her' she said leaning back against the chair. Mr. Saxena went on to tell that it isn't possible to just fire an employee.

'I don't care, I want her fired' Eifad said harshly and cut the call.

Half an hour later, there is a knock at Shad's cabin door. Shad frowned when he saw a peon come in carrying Mr. Khanna's report

'Where is sister Anita?' He asked as he goes through the report

'She has been fired, sir' Shad is stunned with this news. Sister Anita has been fired? He wondered why. It was his first day working with her but he didn't find anything that was wrong. Must be some internal issues, he shrugged off the thought and focused on the report he had in hand.

One week later,

Rhea is super excited. Today is her first day for internship. She had been waiting for this day for one week. Only she knows how she passed this one week. She woke up early and quickly showered getting dressed in an orange and blue churidar and Kurthi. She combed her hair, and curled the ends resting half on her shoulder and rest half resting on her back. She applied cream, powder on her face, a nude lip gloss and black kohl. She twisted little admiring her reflection from all angles, today is her first day to work and she wants to make a best impression. She took her doctor's coat and her chest swelled with pride and happiness.

'All the best' Shruti said munching on her corn flakes.

'Thanks...' Rhea said making her way towards the main door. Shruti asked if she will have breakfast but Rhea refused, she is too nervous as well as excited for her first day to work. She made silent prayers before she climbed on her scooty, carefully she wore her helmet and digged out her phone. Google Map- Hooda Red Cross Hospital.

Rhea walked happily through the corridor towards the cardiology department, there she saw one lanky man dressed in formals and a doctor's coat. He seems to be the other intern working with her.

Rhea smiled at young lanky man and took her seat beside him.

'Hey, Rhea' she introduced herself to the man, she is feeling nervous and so to divert her mind she decided to strike a conversation with her fellow intern.

'Hey, Imran' the man introduced himself shaking her hand.

Soon they begin chatting waiting for the head of cardiologist- Dr. Brijesh Singhaniya

Shad worked in his cabin when there is a knock, he asked the person to enter.

'Doctor Singhaniya is calling for you' Peon announced. Shad nodded his head and asked the peon to leave, he will come. Seconds later, he left his cabin too.

Shad frowned on seeing Singhaniya standing outside his cabin addressing two excited/nervous looking young doctors. Shad's frown turned into a smile when he recognized the young girl, the girl's gaze also falls on him and Shad noticed sense of familiarity on her face, she recognized him too. Shad is happy.
