I gotta get away from her.

What the fortune teller said is

I'm alive, for now, but good as dead.

She claimed she'd seen it all while she was gazin' in her crystal ball!

If I can't evade my fate, then I won't sit around and wait.

"A fallen star will be thy fate and call you by your Ancient Name."

A/N: By golly, there are more meme references in here than I intended, so enjoy :D

The wind rushed past his ears as the sound of thundering hooves almost deafened him, though he was only focused on what lay ahead of him, keeping what had happened back in the tea shop out of mind for now.

That was before the thoughts surged back, and to keep himself from losing grip on the reins, he let one memory rise from the depths of his mind.

Amias wished he could forget it, the look in her eyes when she said those dreadful words, which made him shudder as he thought of them, while the purple cloaked figure of Casimir looked on, a dark look in his pale-grey eyes.

The silence afterwards made him feel that if he breathed even a tiny bit, the world would fall into chaos, and he would be lost to it.

Never would he be telling this to anyone, but to himself, whispering secrets only he knew to the one reflected in the cracked mirror.

He then pushed them down, and looked ahead, eyes narrowing as he picked out a figure in orange, his fluffy ears then began to move, making sure there was no one else except for him and that person, which he knew had a name, but was too unsure of himself to say it, embarrassment being too common of an outcome if he did.

''(Y/n)?!'' He called out, almost immediately cringing at his lack of self-control. And then, his horse vaulted over a bush, making (Y/n) back away quickly, and he came to a stop.

''Hello there.'' Amias greeted, looking down at her atop his horse, whose hooves pawed the ground nervously. ''What a surprise, is that who I think it is?''

''Amias?'' (Y/n) questioned, as her brother hopped off, his riding boots hitting the ground with a thump. His mohawked hair was messy from going at fast speeds, but he wore a grin as he looked at his sister.

''Yeah, that's me- and I'm still the shorter one,'' Amias said with a huff, noticing the height difference between them, he crossed his arms, the grin quickly melting into a slightly annoyed expression. ''It's great to see you, sis.''

''You will always be the shorter one. And it's good to see you too.'' (Y/n) replied with a chuckle, lightly punching his arm, and Amias rubbed the area where she lightly punched his arm. Remo then appeared on her shoulders, and her brother's eyes widened momentarily before a bright smile lit up his face.

''Remo! I haven't seen you in ages, and- and, you're a live snake!'' Her brother exclaimed, making the silver noodle glance at (Y/n) confused.

''You two sorta talk like you know each other well, but I haven't seen much interaction between you both, or is it just me?'' Remo questioned, looking at the siblings.

''Let's say there's a little magic that's going on,'' Amias replied, holding up his hand and moving his fingers as glowing golden-yellow coloured transparent threads of silk-like magic rose from his palm, drifting over to Remo and making the little snake giggle as if he was being tickled.

( first time describing a more detailed appearance of magic )

''Ahh! It tickles!'' Remo exclaimed, wriggling and giggling while (Y/n) looked at him, the corners of her mouth turning upwards in a warm smile. He then stopped and watched the remains of the glowing magic stuff float around, his eyes wide in amazement, before looking over at Vitamin C's brother.

''Right, this is nice and all, but I fell from the Destiny's Bounty and need a way to get to Lloyd to warn him of the coming danger.'' (Y/n) spoke, turning Remo's and Amias' attention to her.

''Say no more, I've got a horse we can use to get there.'' Her brother replied with a grin, pointing a thumb back at the horse before putting one hand on his hip while he used the other one to salute like he was some sort of soldier.

''One more thing, I have an injury.'' Vitamin C added, feeling the pain in her side come again for another round, she then saw Amias move closer to her, and more of the glowing magic came from his hands, though this time it was coloured pink.

''Hold on,'' Amias spread out his fingers, and suddenly the Orange Ninja felt a calming coolness wash over her, feeling the pain in her side begin to ache less, she sighed in relief, murmuring thanks.

Before he could continue, however, the trio was interrupted by a roar in the distance. Amias looked confused while his sister quickly listened again to see what it was. ''That's either that river monster or the grundle-looking thing.''

Her brother began to move towards the horse, with (Y/n) following him. He got on, and so did the Orange Ninja, holding on to her brother's waist, with Remo loosely wrapped around her neck like a scaly scarf with eyes and a head.

''Alons-y!'' Amias exclaimed, tapping the horse's side with the stirrup, the horse suddenly shot forward as a green coloured grundle-lookalike burst out of a nearby bush behind them.

(Y/n) glanced back, seeing the monster's sharp-toothed jaws open wide, ready to attack them, it was keeping up with the horse but was still behind, at least a few meters away.

''How the hell are we going to get away from this?'' The Orange Ninja asked, yelling.

''Do what I do, hold tight and pretend it's a plan!'' Her brother yelled back, keeping his focus on the terrain ahead as (Y/n)'s mind's raced with ideas on how to defeat it.

While she did so, Amias guided the horse through the jungle, ducking his head to avoid a spider's web which (Y/n) was the unfortunate one to get hit with it, and cursed aloud, her brother quickly replying with ''Language!''.

''Got any ideas?'' Mohawk Cowboy asked, glancing back at the Grundle, which was now gone.

''None?'' The Orange Ninja replied, confused, though she was a bit wary despite the beast that was chasing them just then was now gone, as well as the spider's web, but fortunately, that had no spider in the middle of it.

The horse slowed to a trot, as the two were still, silent, waiting for signs of danger. ''So it likes surprise attacks, hunts in the daytime, and- wait,'' Amias observed, before falling silent once more.

''What is it?'' Remo suddenly questioned, looking over at him.

''Supposedly, they always get their prey.'' (Y/n) and Amias quoted at the same time, making Remo look as if he was trying to mimic the face of the surprised Pikachu meme.

''GO GO GO!'' (Y/n) suddenly shouted as the Grundle appeared again, and the horse sped up, even faster than before, making the Orange Ninja hold on tighter.

''Wait, I see something up ahead,'' Remo told the two.

''Great spotting Remo, it's the gorge!'' Amias replied, grinning, looking at it. It was in their way, a wide gap with scattered pebbles at the edge, making it impossible to jump over it with just the horse.

The Orange Ninja slightly loosened her grip to look at one of her hands, an idea starting to form in her mind. ''Ames, do you have a teleporting spell?'' She asked, glancing behind her to look at the Grundle for a moment.

''I do, but it's going to tire me out really quickly.'' He replied, a slightly worried expression on his face. ''But if it means we get away from this, then I'll use it.''

(Y/n) told him her plan and he listened carefully, nodding every time she said something important.

''It's either do or die, basically...'' Remo said, worry forming in his eyes.

The Orange Ninja's heart seemed to drop as the horse beneath her seemed to disappear, and suddenly it felt like something was forcing her through the opening of a bottle, her limbs felt like they were wrapped by a snake, stopping her from moving entirely.

Then, the whole pressure lifted, and she found herself on the back of her brother's horse, and from the other side of the gorge, she could see the Grundle in the distance approaching.

''Now!'' Amias yelled, and she slipped off the horse, and her fingers danced midair, like they were at the keys of a piano, playing silent notes. Her brother and Remo watched as the chasm seemingly disappeared, now covered by the ground that matched its surroundings.

''Wait for it.'' The silver snake spoke, though he was a bit nervous.

''I am the one thing in life I can control~'' (Y/n) sang, making Amias laugh. He looked exhausted like he had stayed up all night playing games into the early morning. Funny how much one teleportation spell can put on one person.

The Grundle was so intent on its prey it hadn't noticed the illusionary gap that had been filled until it was too late. It tripped, falling headfirst into the gorge, accompanied by terrified screeches as the illusion poofed. Then it was gone.

''I almost feel sorry for it,'' Amias said after a moment of silence for the beast. ''Key word, almost. Press F to pay respects, I guess.''

''That's for trying to eat me before Lloyd grew up!'' (Y/n) shouted into the chasm, which in a way, was like the void, but now with a possibly trapped beast in it.

''Anyways, got anything to tell me? Spill the tea sis.'' Her bro egged on.

''Our father is a meme lord, and also the Master of Time.'' The Orange Ninja answered, making Amias' jaw drop. ''Guess which one.''

''Krux, the old grumpy bear?'' (Y/n) shook her head. ''Acronix- No way!''

''Yep.'' The Orange Ninja replied with a smirk.

''Ooh, that basically means we're Timelords! But wait- who inherited our father's abilities?'' Amias asked.

''(Y/n) did.'' Remo piped up, making the Orange Ninja's bro go ''aww'' in disappointment. Hearing voices, the trio stilled, and they recognised who the voices belonged to.

''Harumi and Lloyd.''

''Well, bye,'' Amias said, hugging his sister and then bringing out what looked to be a horseshoe, which he tapped with a finger, and the horse beside him disappeared. ''Bigger on the inside. Like a Pokéball.'' He added, placing it back into his pocket.

(Y/n) turned and began walking towards the two with Remo on her shoulders. She then heard a scream and looked to its source, seeing her brother get dragged away from her by something.

''OH BLEEP, NOT THIS AGAIN!'' Amias screamed, before adding: ''DON'T WORRY SIS I'LL BE FINE!'' He said not so convincingly and was dragged out of sight.

''R/thathappened,'' Remo mumbled before the two went to join the Green Bean and the Princess.

''Please do let me in, it's not the nicest of weather the area's had in years. I mean, it's too cold and I don't like it.'' The old woman complained, and the couple let her in, smiling at the small bit of hope in their faces.

''Well, uh..'' (M/n) looked around for a chair as Riské sat herself down at a table that had only two seats, with (F/n) sitting down across from the old woman with Ugg boots.

''So tell us what's happened.'' (F/n) leaned forward in his chair, his eyes narrowed and serious, peering over at Riské, who was sipping some water (M/n) had given her, despite being offered tea she had declined, saying it was bad for her health.

While (M/n) looked at the old woman afterwards confused, (F/n) kept his focus on her, as if he was afraid she would suddenly disappear in a puff of smoke.

''Your children ran away, correct?'' Riské asked, leaning on the table which slightly tilted downwards. She quickly stopped leaning, and instead put her hands in her lap.

''Yes, they did.'' (M/n) affirmed, grabbing a chair and sitting down with the two. Her husband nodded in agreement.

''To be honest, that's a mistake on my end,'' The old woman replied, leaning back in the chair with a sigh as it creaked under the sudden weight. ''It just had to be that darn printer.''

''A printer?'' (F/n) questioned, lifting an eyebrow.

''If I told you, it's something you wouldn't believe,'' Riské answered, taking a moment to look at her very short fingernails.

''Show us then.'' (M/n) ordered, though a bit softly, she glanced over at (F/n), who nodded encouragingly.

''Gladly.''

Sometime later, the three arrived at a concrete-walled house opposite a tea shop, both surrounded by other houses where everything seemed normal until-

A papercut of papers suddenly flew out a window of the house, nearly hitting a lorikeet, which screeched madly and flew away, the couple watched as the papers which had something written on them get carried away by the wind, and out of sight.

''It has been like this for years now, but nothing new has been done to fix it. I believe the one who lives in there needs to sort out their problems before they get accused of causing too many papercuts.'' Riské explained.

''So a faulty printer is the problem causing all of this?'' (M/n) asked, clearly sceptical of the old woman.

''Erm, maybe. Nothing seems to stop the printer from printing, there have been electricians called, and all sorts of people who have tried to find a solution, but nothing has worked.'' The old woman added. ''There are even theories that the house is haunted by ghosts.''

''It's just a faulty printer.'' (F/n) said, crossing his arms while frowning. ''How can it be so big of a problem that caused all of... 'this'.?'' He gestured around.

''Well, it all started when I gave the resident in that house a flyer for my business, they took it and sometime after I found that there were copies of that same flyer just... flying around.''

The couple scowled.

~Later~

Back at (Y/n)'s and Amias' parent's house, Riské finished drinking her cup of water and smiled at the couple.

''Don't forget our deal, okay?'' The old woman asked, getting up from her seat, and the two parents nodded, concerned for their children...and themselves. ''Alrighty then, goodbye!'' She then left without another word.

(I like to think this is after the Amias Encounter)

The Earth Ninja whistled as he walked to the railing of the Destiny's Bounty, carrying the baby in his arms. ''What do you think that baby's name is? You think he looks like a Cole Jr.?'' He asked, mostly no one in particular.

''I think you should put the baby down and help us out,'' Jay told him, looking up at Cole, the Lightning Ninja wearing a welding mask and holding a blowtorch.'' Okay, Zane, give it another try.''

Jay received static in response.

''Zane? Come in, Zane.'' Kai said, stopping his work on the damaged wing of the flying ship.

''Oh, great. Now the radios aren't working.'' Floofhead replied, annoyed. The two then heard a loud growling nearby, almost giving Jay a heart attack.

''What do you think that was?'' Cole asked the others.

''Probably just some cute little critter?'' Porcupine questioned, sounding as if he were trying to reassure himself.

''Or a big critter. A great big vicious critter with lots of teeth and claws and pinchers.'' Jay answered nervously.

''I seriously doubt your answer, Kai,'' Morro spoke, walking out onto the deck to look out into the jungle.

''You can't tell all that from how it sounds,'' Cole told him firmly.

''Oh, yeah? If you listen real carefully...'' Sparkplug said, pausing for a moment to listen.

''You guys say something?'' Zane inquired, loud static preceding his voice, which made Jay jump a little.

''Any luck reaching Lloyd?'' Burnt Toast questioned.

''Pixal and I have only been able to repair the shortwave comlink. It appears we won't be able to find them until we get the Bounty over these trees. Ready to test the thrusters?'' The Frosty Nindroid asked.

''Let's give it a go,'' Cole said.

''Fire it up.'' The Fiyaa Ninja replied.

''Go for it,'' Jay answered.

''Rev her up,'' Morro spoke.

Zane pulled the lever, and the thruster began firing up, though it shook a little.

''Haha, it's working.''

''I'll say.''

''Fi-ya!''

Suddenly, the thrusters began to break down, making the ninja panic as it began releasing smoke.

''Aah. Cut it off!''

''Abort, abort!''

''Shut it down. Shut it down.''

The nIce Ninja quickly grabbed the levers and reverted them to their original positions, stopping the thruster.

''Oh, that's it. I've had it.'' Jay shouted, and Morro and Zane looked down at him, laughing jokingly at his smoke-covered appearance. ''First, we crash land in who-knows-where, surrounded by who-knows-what, and now this!'' The Lightning Ninja ranted.

''Well, at least Cole Jr.'s fine so we can give the diapers to Jay,'' Cole told him, showing Jay the baby on his back.

''Hi-hi-hi-hilarious,'' Jay replied sarcastically, briefly putting his hands on his hips before the group heard the same growling again. ''What? What was that?'' He turned around as Nya in the Samurai X suit appeared, touching down on the jungle ground.

''Look what I found,'' Nya said, referring to the suit.

''My suit. I mean, your suit.'' Pixal corrected herself.

''It's okay, Pixal... It's yours now. There was also a note on it from Lloyd. He and Rumi are going to the temple.'' Tall Glass O' Water replied.

''Then Lloyd and Rumi are okay but-'' Cole started.

''What about (Y/n)?'' Pixal asked, seemingly worried, and Morro looked as if he were about to ask the same thing, his mouth wide open he then closed it.

''My exact question. Well, our exact question, right guys?'' Kai questioned the others, and almost everyone nodded in unison.

''(Y/n) may be a strong member of our team, but that doesn't mean she's invincible. Who knows what's out there?'' Morro inquired.

''He's right,'' Nya replied, looking concerned. ''The Sons of Garmadon are out there, and if they run into her, they have two of the three masks.''

The group heard movement amongst the jungle vegetation and Morro boosted himself into the air with his wind power, softening his fall with a small tornado at his feet. ''Who's there?'' He asked, glaring into the bushes.

''Just me.'' An (h/c)-haired mohawked person with blue eyes replied, walking out of the brush, his clothes slightly torn he held his hands up to show he meant no harm. Weather boy regarded him suspiciously, his dark green eyes narrowed before he looked at him normally.

''State your name, rank and intention,'' Morro said.

''Amias, someone and fun...'' He snickered a bit after saying that. ''-wait no, I came to tell you that (Y/n) is alright, I helped her get to Lloyd.''

''Good to hear that, but how do we know that's true? For all, we know you could be an impostor, sent by the S.O.G.''

''If you find out I'm lying, you could have your Water Ninja use her powers on me. I'm allergic to water, and it hurts when I make contact with it.'' Amias replied, his expression serious. ''Plus, I'm (Y/n)'s relative, she'll have at least mentioned me once, right?''

Nya racked her brain, coming up with almost nothing, but one memory. ''She did mention a brother at some point. Are you him?''

Amias nodded. ''Yep, that's me!'' He gave a thumbs up. ''I'll be going, see ya!'' (Y/n)'s brother then retreated into the bushes and disappeared from sight.

''That was... weird,'' Cole spoke after he had gone, looking down at the others.

''We're still grounded. Let's get back to work...before the Sons of Garmadon pick up our trail.'' Kai told the others, and they did so.

---

Sometime later, the ninja were still fixing the Destiny's Bounty.

''I wonder if Lloyd and Rumi or even (Y/n) is okay,'' Cole said, using a screwdriver to fix something.

''I'm sure they're fine. They don't seem to have any trouble looking out for each other. That guy from earlier told us (Y/n) is alright, and he seems trustworthy.'' Kai replied, carrying a bunch of plant foliage in his arms.

''Yeah, I have noticed Rumi and Lloyd have gotten pretty close. Pass the wrench?'' The Earth Ninja requested.

''Got the wrench?'' Kai questioned.

''Wrench coming your way,'' Jay replied, yeeting the wrench his way. The Fire Ninja caught it and handed it to Cole.

''So, Lloyd has the hots for the princess. Huh. If things keep heating up, I wonder what we'll have to call him next. The Royal Green Ninja?'' Cole asked, mostly himself though. ''Pliers.''

''Got pliers?'' Burnt Toast questioned Morro and Jay, the former fixing a loose plank of wood on the deck while sitting down.

''I don't have the pliers,'' Freckleface answered, and a small hand gave it to him. ''Oh. Why thank you.'' He then looked down and saw the baby, now walking on two legs. Jay gasped in surprise, looking down at it in shock. ''Cole? Hehe. I thought you put the baby down for a nap.''

''You mean little Cole Jr.? I did, but he was pretty restless.''The Cake Ninja replied.

''Uh-huh. Yeah. Then why is little Cole Jr. standing in front of me and passing me the pliers?'' Jay asked the others disbelievingly. The others went down to where the baby was, catching Morro's attention who stopped what he was doing and joined them.

''Uh... Cole Jr. is walking now? I don't know much about babies, but are babies supposed to walk?'' Cole questioned, confusion showing on his face.

''No. No, they are not. And I don't think they know what pliers are.'' Kai answered, as the baby tottered over to a table, where a cup of hot tea rested. It grabbed it and blew on the steaming cup to cool it, then drank the tea. ''And they definitely can't do that.''

''Yeah, babies definitely aren't able to do that,'' Morro replied sarcastically, scowling. ''This one's a special case and-''

''Okay, now I've seen it all. Now I really quit.'' Jay spoke, sounding done with the whole situation.

''Ah. Ninja never quit.'' The baby replied, taking a sip of tea before laughing.

''Uh, guys, I don't think that's Cole Jr. That's Master Wu!'' Jay cried out.

''No crap Sherlock.'' Weather Boy retorted, rolling his eyes as he sat down. The baby walked over to him, and tugged on his green hairstreak, slightly annoying him, he crossed his arms as the baby continued, sighing.

---

Lloyd and Harumi made their way through the dense jungle, with Harumi using the Green Bean's sword to slash through anything in their way. She then slashed a vine, and behind it, was the S.O.G insignia, and the Simpress made a ''terrified'' noise, putting up her hand to block her face.

''The Sons of Garmadon insignia,'' Lloyd said, taking a closer look, the two then got on the boat.

''But what is it doing here? Is anyone there?'' Harumi asked him.

''No. It's abandoned.'' The Green Bean answered, and the pair saw a map. ''The same map?''

''I thought no one knew where the Oni Temple was located,'' Simprumi answered.

''So why are there two maps? The Quiet One must have sent an expedition looking for the temple.'' Lloyd theorized.

''Doesn't look like they got very far,'' Harumi observed.

''Yeah, but where did they go? What happened to them?'' The Green Machine asked.

The White-Haired Princess picked up a key with a smile. ''Maybe we'll have better luck.'' She then used it to start the boat.

''Hey! Wait!'' Someone called, and the two turned to see the Fanta Ninja running towards the boat, as it began to move, starting to speed up.

''(Y/n)?!'' Lloyd exclaimed in surprise, his eyes widened. ''Get on!''

The (h/c)-haired girl sped up her pace and was soon to the right side of the boat, she then jumped onto it, making the boat wobble as she landed on it. ''Seems a bit.. fragile?'' She asked, looking at the two.

Lloyd smiled upon seeing her, while Harumi did the same, but weaker, at the steering wheel of the boat.

''Good to see you.'' The Green Bean told her, at the front of the boat with a pole, using it to check the river's depth. ''Five feet. That's okay. A little left. More rocks. Not too fast. It's pretty shallow around here. That's good. Keep her steady.'' He instructed Harumi.

(Y/n) got rid of the cobwebs and sat down, before watching and listening to the two talk to each other, occasionally including her in their conversation.

''Do you think it's really possible to bring someone back?'' Harumi asked, after a few awkward moments of silence.

''I've seen a lot of things in my lifetime. At first, I didn't. Now I'm not so sure.'' The Green Bean replied, taking a brief moment to look at Harumi, and (Y/n).

''Does any part of you want to see your father again?'' Simprumi questioned, making (Y/n) uncomfortable with all the seemingly personal questions directed towards Lloyd.

''I had Ninjago's greatest villain as my dad. It was an...unusual relationship. But as much as we fought, I still miss him.'' Lloyd admitted. ''A little to the right.''

''I would do anything to see my parents again,'' Harumi told him.

''I don't blame you. But if they bring my father back, the thing that scares me the most is...'' The Green Ninja trailed off.

''He won't be the man you recognized?'' Simprumi asked, and he nodded. ''He wasn't the greatest villain.''

''Oh, no? You probably grew up thinking it's Morro or the Devourer. Don't tell me. Pythor.'' Lloyd guessed.

''No. It's the one you never even knew was there in the first place, the one that gets away.'' Harumi answered.

''The Quiet One.'' The Green Bean realised.

''Are you doing alright back there?'' Harumi asked the Orange Ninja, taking a moment to look back at the girl. She sounded concerned and looked like it too.

''I'm fine.'' (Y/n) lied with a sigh, internally cringing afterwards.

''Okay.'' The Jade Princess said, turning her concerned gaze back to Lloyd.

---

''So he likes tea and he went through a growth spurt. That doesn't mean he's Wu,'' Nya told the others disbelievingly.

''Master...'' Baby Wu sipped his tea.''...Wu.''

''That's him, all right.'' Tall Glass O' Water replied. ''But how did he get so...young?''

''Hehe. Who knows? He's a living fortune cookie. Everything he does is a puzzle meant to torture us!'' Jay ranted, glaring at the baby.

''Wasn't he always a ''living fortune cookie''?'' Morro asked the others, keeping his eyes on Baby Wu.

''Maybe we'll never know,'' Cole said, moving aside for the baby as he tottered back to the teapot to get more hot tea.

''Don't you remember? He was touched by the Reversal Blade when he disappeared in time, right?'' Nya asked for confirmation.

''So?'' Her hot-head potato bro questioned, turning to look at her.

''So what if the Blade did more than stop his aging? What if it somehow made him younger? Like really young.'' The Water Ninja theorised.

''If your assumption is correct, logic would dictate that he would begin aging more rapidly once the effects of the blade have worn off,'' Zane replied as Pixal nodded.

''So that explains how a baby can learn to walk overnight, but how long until he's, you know, back to good old Wu? I mean, no offence. You look good for your age.'' Jay told Baby Wu, handing him a steaming cup of tea.

''Time will tell,'' Pixal replied. The sound of one very familiar yell and the rumble of motorcycle engines was heard nearby. The Sons of Garmadon.

''And our time is running out. How soon till we get outta here?'' Kai asked urgently.

''Not soon enough,'' Nya answered, and Pixal went to her mech.

''Pixal, what the heck are you doing?'' Morro questioned the nindroid woman.

''Slowing them down.'' She replied, and the mech shot into the sky, and away from the Destiny's Bounty.

''She can handle herself. We need to get this ship in the air. All hands on deck.'' The Water Ninja told the others, and they went to do their jobs.

''Let's go, little Wu. You looked after us, it's only fair we look after you.'' Cole told the baby, holding him in his arms, while Morro stood nearby, watching the two.

''The timing of their arrival is unfortunate. We have not yet had a fully successful engine test.'' Zane informed as lights flashed on and off in the Bounty.

''Fully successful? It blew up in my face!'' Jaybird replied.

''Uh, in our faces.'' Kai corrected, turning to the blue-clad ninja.

''Let's not argue over the details,'' Nya told the two.

---

As Lloyd tested the river's depth, while Harumi sang her lovely little song and (Y/n) busied herself with humming when the Green Bean found something.

''Stop the boat. There's definitely rocks in the water. We need to find another—'' He said, when suddenly something underwater grabbed his pole, and pulled it along the river, to where it sank below the surface. ''What the heck? It's definitely not a rock. We're not alone.''

Something beneath the water's surface bumped the boat, making Lloyd lose balance and fall on his back. (Y/n) got up from where she sat, and gathered with the other two.

''What—What's that?'' Harumi asked, panicked.

''I'm thinking what the earlier expedition ran into. Start the engine. Go, go. Hurry.'' The Green Ninja urged as a giant crab-like monster leapt out of the water in front of them.

Harumi started the engine, making the boat jolt forwards, and (Y/n) tried to keep her balance as to not fall into the water.

''What's in the water?'' The White-Haired Princess questioned, looking back at Lloyd who was now at the back of the boat, watching the river monster.

''Whatever it is, it's gaining on us. Is this as fast as it can go?'' He asked.

''It won't go any faster. Aah!'' Harumi screamed, seeing the river monster close to the boat.

''We need to lighten the load,'' Lloyd replied, grabbing some boxes and throwing them off as (Y/n) glanced at Harumi.

''What the-'' (Y/n) spoke, but was interrupted as the monster attacked the front of the boat, knocking her and Lloyd off their feet. Another attack was directed at the back, taking the back part of the boat off.

Then, crab claws rose out of the water, dripping but before it attacked, it suddenly fled.

Suddenly, all seemed still and quiet, as the damaged boat floated downriver, the trio confused.

''Why did it stop?'' Harumi asked.

''I don't know. It's like something kind of...scared him off. We have to get to shore.'' Lloyd told the two.

''The current's pulling us away,'' Simprumi replied, looking at the turbulent waters.

''What current? We need to go the other way.'' He said, looking ahead.

''The other way? That thing is back there.'' Harumi reminded him.

''We need to reverse-'' (Y/n) started but was cut off.

''It doesn't work.'' The Jade Princess told her.

''Grab on to something. Now!'' Lloyd urged, grabbing a line of rope. ''Hold on.'' The three looked ahead and saw the waterfall, and moments later, it felt like they were flying-

But now they were falling.

Down.

Down.

Down...

---

''The trace program the computer was running to find the Quiet One's location. It's finished, but that's odd. It says it originated from the Bounty.'' Nya observed the screen, confused.

''But that-that can't be,'' Kai replied in disbelief.

''Yeah, that's impossible,'' Cole added in the same manner.

''The only ones on the ship were us, Pixal, and...'' Zane started.

''Harumi's the Quiet One.'' Nya and Morro answered, with the latter wearing a scowl on his face.

''We must warn Lloyd immediately,'' Zane told the others, and Nya tried to start the ship but was interrupted by the Crazy Purple Woman's sai.

''Ah-ah-ah. I wouldn't do that if I were you.'' She told them, and the S.O.G surrounded the ninja. ''The Quiet One wouldn't like that.'' The two groups fought, but the ninja quickly found themselves overwhelmed in S.O.G numbers.

---

The three made it to shore, their clothes drenched from falling into the water, they flopped down onto the ground, exhausted.

''Rumi, (Y/n), we made it,'' Lloyd told the two, sitting up.

''Yeah, barely,'' Harumi replied while (Y/n) groaned as she sat up.

''No. I mean, we made it to the temple. Look.'' The Green Ninja pointed to a temple behind the waterfalls. It looked like the mouth of a monster, with sharp pointy teeth made out of the rock.

As Lloyd looked at it with a smile, Harumi stood behind him.

Smiling evilly.

While (Y/n) looked at her, a deep hatred on her face.

Yo, really sorry for the extra-long wait, I hope this chapter wasn't too bad.

If I made any mistakes, please point them out for me.
