Personality: Idalia is a hard ass. She has a bad attitude and she is just constantly looking to start something. She knows she has the skills to take on whoever she is picking a fight with, or else she won't pick a fight with them.

Idalia is a smart, resourceful girl. She has to be as she has been on her own from a pretty young age. She is sneaky and sarcastic, usually pissing off the person she is talking to without trouble. Idalia doesn't really think before she speaks, she just lets out the hard truth. Even when she does think before saying something, she usually goes with what she was originally going to say. There isn't much that she thinks about that would change her mind.

Backstory: Idalia was born in Ba Sing Se. Her mother was nobility in the upper ring, while her father was a fire ending peasant that lost his way. He was being brought in for treason, to be sentenced by the king.

The man ran into Miyu and she got him out of his trouble. She was kind and understanding and they began a life together. They had a daughter when they were in their early twenties, a little girl. She had a beautiful red mane and these glowing red eyes. She was their pride and joy. She turned 4 and began fire ending on an extremely small scale. It was cute how her father taught her how to light the fire for their barbeque nights, or when it was summer and she would start the bonfire. Things like that.

When she turned seven, her mother got pregnant, with twins. A girl and a boy. They were healthy and beautiful children. The boy, Ryu was like his mother. A sweetheart that didn't have a mean bone in his body. A nonbender at that. His twin though, Rya, she, like her father and sister, was a firebemder. Personality wise, however, Rya was just like her twin. Not really willing to get into trouble. Using words to solve things. Being a gentle soul throughout her life. About 7 years later when Idalia was 14 and her siblings were 7, tragedy struck.

Their home was attacked by some thugs that found their way into the upper ring. Idalia's father had been sick and his bending temporarily locked. Her childhood was full of smiles and love. She and her family were happy together. Her bending was strong for her age. She had begun to learn lightning bending, but for the moment she was best at just regular fire. She tried to help fight off the thugs, but doing it and trying to keep her little siblings from getting hurt. She just couldn't. The thugs overpowered her and ended up killing her family, in front of her.

When the thugs went after Idalia she began engulfed in flames. Her body was a bright pink and her hair began to burn at the ends. She had never done that before. She took out the thugs, but ran away immediately after. She had never been able to get hot enough to burn her own hair again, but she began to hone the skill of self flaming, using it to her advantage when she needed to.
