LUCIANO'S POV

We stayed at the museum and hid in the storage room for about 12 hours, without getting spotted by Beast Tanks. Thank goodness. During that time, I spoke with Lenny about how close she and Raisa are, a very long conversation so I will just mention the important parts. Zoe also managed to regain her senses (again) then she slept. As for Raisa, she slept too.

"...exterminated?"

"Yes Commander. Raisa was 6 years old when she saw her loved ones exterminated in front of her. Her parents, her friends, her village. All she had left was me."

"I see. I understand now why Raisa is mentally unstable. The invasion of Rossiya (Raisa's homeland) was very bloody, too many died to be counted, and too many cities were razed."

"Which is why I had to be with her at all times..."

Lenny further explained that the trauma Raisa experienced influenced her personality. At one point, she almost killed Lenny's brother; which really shocked me. War is hell, people lose their minds when they are put in these situations.

"I'm glad you remained sane, Lenny. Take care of her."

"You too, Commander. Take care of Zoe, even though she may be an idiot, I have feeling she won't handle it well if you're not with her."

That was surprising, she doesn't even know Zoe herself.

"Huh? But we just met, I cannot be sure about that yet..."

"Time will tell Commander."

For some reason, Lenny talked to me like a mentor or something. What a unique person. I wish I could have her part of my team someday, but I have no power to change that.

BOOOM!! BOOOOM!!

"What the?! A barrage!? Have we been spotted?"

"I'll take a look", said Lenny as she went out to investigate. I woke up Raisa and Zoe.

ZOE'S POV

Yaaaaawwwn. Commander woke me up, then I heard lots of booms and bangs outside.

We went out to see a battle raging the streets of Paris. We saw numerous Beast Tanks racing towards the eastern side of the city - they were fighting someone else. The battle was loud and lots of smoke were around.

"Raisa, lead the way.", said Commander as she carefully scouted the paths we went, making sure we don't get caught. Our goal is to identify and meet up with the attackers whom we assumed were on our side.

And then....SWOOOOSH!

A shell passed by me and exploded. We all tumbled but are still alright.

"Have we been spotted!?"

"I am not sure, I think someone else was shooting us."

"Huh?...!!! Look! Over there!", I screamed as I noticed the shooter overhead of us as the smoke faded. I looked closer...it...it was...it was!!?

"Hey! HEY! Don't shoot! It's us!!", I screamed as loud as I can to the shooter who I recognized. It was my friend...childhood friend. I waved my hands up wildly to tell her not to shoot.

"DON'T SHOOT, NELLY!! IT'S ME, ZOE SHERMAN!!"

NELLY'S POV

Name: Nelly Wagner. Metal Maiden. Class: ATG Type: Jagdtiger Ausf F.

I looked at my iron sights to see an idiot waving her hands like crazy at me. I realized it was someone I knew back in school.

"Well, look here Lena. It's Zoe."

"Zoe the Slacker?! What is she doing here?"

"Asking permission to shoot Zoe."

"Sure! Go ahead!"

Yes. I wanted to shoot Zoe. I don't really care about her anyway. Nor does Lena Toludka, another Metal Maiden. I aimed at her and prepared to fire when someone else appeared on my scope. Two Metal Maidens...one commander...oh well...guess I don't have to tease Zoe like that.

Four people, overall, walked towards us. We were positioned on a small hill just outside Paris. They were glad it was just us. Though I am not sure the same can be said for me and Lena, now that Zoe's around...

"I'm glad you guys arrived. We've been hiding in the city for a while now. Name is Luciano Grazzini." Luciano huh...So this is the guy...

"I'm Nelly Wagner, daughter of General Wagner and leader of the Jagdtiger Squad."

"A Wagner huh? Are you're connected with General Erwin Rommel?"

"My father, yes. Me, not so much."

Looking at the new commander, he seems competent. That scar though...looks like this guy means business. As for the other two Metal Maidens who called themselves Raisa and Lena, they're strong.

As for Zoe...sigh...she hasn't changed.

"Hey, Nelly! Long time no see!"

"Oh, you're alive, Zoe the Slacker?"

"Aaargggh, don't call me that!"

"ZOE THE SLACKER, WHAT'S UP!!?", said Lena behind me.

"Come on, Lena! Not you too!"

"Hehe, it's been a while Zoe! Tell me, why are you still alive, huh?!"

"You two...knock it off already!!", said Zoe. When the commander noticed, Zoe explained that she, Lena, and I were all classmates from the same school. And how much she slacks at studying.

"Seems you three have a fun relationship...", said Raisa chuckling a bit.

"Not really." I replied. Then I explained to them why we were here.

I told them we were sent here from Frunze with a mission to scout the area and, if we found a man named Luciano, escort him back to Frunze. Mission success then.

"So...umm...what do we do now?", replied my other companion named Prima. A busty girl with a quiet attitude. Bison class. SPG type.

"Well...are you the only ones around?", I asked.

"I believe so, I saw no signs of other allied squads in Paris. Just us.", said Lenny.

"Then let's go. We need to bring you all to Frunze as soon as possible."

"Thank you.", said Luciano.

After that, we all began our retreat from Paris, marching towards the Gallian forests for better cover. We must not attract anymore Beast Tanks - for some reason, they're increasing in numbers faster than expected.

Somehow, I've got a bad feeling that something will happen...

A/N: Sorry for the slow update. I temporarily lost motivation to write, no idea why. Also, I might do another Panzer Waltz story that will skip certain parts of my script, stay tuned.
