Rain's P.O.V.

"Ah!" Blake yowled. Quick as a squirrel, Sunflower escaped Cloud and jumped onto the badger that was attacking the rogue.
Before he could call his cats back, Cloud jumped into the fray. The three other rouges that had come with Blake were slowly backing away, frightened.

"Let's go!" Flywing hissed, snapping at the three rouges to start fighting. Storm and Rain shared a kind glance before they began attacking side by side, matching blow for blow. The three rouges stared in shock at the cats' fierceness.

"Run!" Rain ordering, turning tail and sprinting away with everyone at his side. "Birch!" Flywing growled, leaping backwards to join her mate.
"Go!" He pushed Storm forward into safety from the badgers' claws.

Treepaw, Swiftpaw, and Duckpaw sprinted into the forest. Yowl followed, hissing them onward. "Sunflower!" Cloud yowled, jumping onto a badger's back. The ginger rouge jumped to safety, horrified. "Blake!" Sunflower screeched as a badger's massive paw raised, ready to strike a shaking body.

"Go!" Cloud hissed, pushing Sunflower into a bramble thicket. Rain watched Blake shaking under the badger. He knew what he had to do. Rain leaped into the fury and pushed the badger off. Birch charged in, joining him. Rain mentally sighed and dragged the cat away with Birch. The two were able to get him to the others, luckily.

Blake was still shaking, flanks heaving. Sunflower raced up to her littermate. "Blake! Blake? Wake up!" Sunflower nudged him. Rain peered around for more badgers.

"Where's the others?" Blake coughed warily. "They fled." Cloud muttered briskly. Rain could see his friend inching closer to Sunflower protectively.
"It's over." He whispered to attempt to calm his fellow cats. "Why? How could-!" Blake was interrupted with a fit of coughing up scarlet blood. Rain tried not to flinch away.

"Blake," Sunflower whispered, licking her brother's head soothingly. "He's not going to make it." Rainwind meowed, standing in front of three sets of peering eyes. "No! He has to," Sunflower shot her head up, glaring at Rainwind with a threatening gaze.
Rainwind sighed.

"They're is nothhing I can do." Rainwind murmured quietly. Sunflower crouched down beside her limp littermate, the shaking from his pelt ceased.

Cloud looked as if he was ready to growl, but softened and curled his tail across her back to comfort her. Rain's heart swelled with grief, knowing this cat had been Sunflower's littermate, although yet filled with much hate. This cat had almost cost his cats' lives.

Rain's gaze hardened. "We can bury him with a warrior's vigil." He muttered. This cat, he knew, had not been a warrior, but had fought like a warrior without the code. He didn't believe this cat was a true warrior, or ever would see the lights of StarClan, but he deserved to have a final rest peacefully with honor, even if that meant making the mouse-brained rogue feel important.

"Blake!" A cat's cry called out, ringing in their ears. "Blake? Blake!" A pair of figures appeared behind some ferns. "What have you done to him?" The she cat's hackles were raised in a threat. Rain braced himself, fluffing out his fur. "We did nothing, and neither did you!" He hissed.

Cloud stood up as well, tail lashing. "You fled at the sight!" Cloud growled, also hackles raised, stepping forward in front of Sunflower. "We only fled because we knew you could handle it!" The tom argued. "We didn't think he'd be stupid enough to try and help!" The tom clawed the ground angrily.

Birch spat. "Stupid? You're the stupid ones here! You fled, leaving your clanmate!"

"Give us his body." The tom cat growled. "Clanmate? You're stupid clan cats!" The other she cat hissed at them. Sunflower's eyes went from hurt to fury. "If there's anything I've learned from these clan cats, it's that they aren't stupid!" With Rain's shock, as well as every other cat's, Sunflower leaped onto the ginger and white she cat.

Cloud, Storm and Rain as well as the others' eyes all widened. It looked as Sunflower had been winning, tearing her claws all over the place. But, as the fight went on, Sunflower's weaker state from the badgers was wearing her out. Rain thought about jumping in to help, but Cloud had beat him to it.

Cloud pushed the ginger white she cat down and pulled her into a thorn bush. Rain didn't see the tom leap, but felt the affect of the impact. Rain's warrior training pushed him harder, knowing he could win the easy fight. Although, alike Sunflower, the badger attack had harmed him.

"Get off!" Rainwind screeched loudly.

The tom forced Rain to keep fighting, but eventually Rain was able to overcome him and throw him off like a leaf. Storm and Flywing had wrestled the other she cat to the ground as well.
"Fighting isn't doing any of us good. We aren't giving up Blake's body. Sunflower has a right to grieve. She was his kin." Rainwind meowed calmly.

Rain was about to speak up, feeling that his authority was being threatened, but closed his jaws. The ginger and white she cat lifted her head to protest, but was forced back onto the ground by Cloud.
"We deserve to grieve, too!" The tom spoke.

"Why? Because you're his band of rogues that followed him?" Storm remarked. The other she cat lowered her gaze. "No, but because Daisy's expecting his kits."  The two cats stood up and lifted the ginger and white she cat to her paws after Cloud backed away, staring at her with shock.

Rain's mind swirled. "Kits?" He asked softly. Storm padded to stand beside him. "What have I done?" Cloud whispered. Rain reached to get to his old friend, but he simply backed away. "Daisyheart, oh Daisyheart," Cloud meowed with terror.

"Where are you, my beloved?" Cloud meowed louder. The rogue cats stared at him with confusion.

Sunflower narrowed her eyes. Oh, no. She might leave him when she finds out who he's talking about. Rain knew Cloud wouldn't be able to lose Sunflower like he had lost Daisyheart.

!))^ Words

Can you translate that, lol? It's just by using the shift key. That's it.

Did you like the chapter? I know I did, but not very much. Do you think Daisy's kits will survive? Do you think they'll stick around to find out? What do you think is going to happen to our sweety Cloud?
OMG. I just realized this....
Cloud and Daisy, omg, I don't even like that ship! Lol, coincedence.
DAISY'S KITS.

Sorry for the late update... I honestly haven't even finished my chapter I'm working on...(aka chapter 24!)
