The whole night ,annika just didn't do anything other than crying. She herself knew that there's no life for her without shivaay but the thought that she have to go against pinky's decision which will   bring a huge disrespect for her didn't  convince her to be selfish.

Morning

All the preparations were going on ,

Pandit - Dulhan ko bulayiye .

Pinky - ji ,

Pinky accompanied annika ,and made her sit on the mandap beside Dev .Annika didn't even look at him ,her mind ...heart everything was still stuck up with shivaay .She looked around the place but he wasn't there .Her all this while baffledly roaming eyes suddenly stiffened. Suddenly out of nowhere her face turned horror stricken, like she has realized something. She was sweating badly ,

A- Dev..(she whispered)

D- hmm?

A- I'm sorry Dev (her voice was shivering )

D- why ?

A- ye shaadi nahi hogi ,I'm sorry ...I'm sorry ,meine ek bahut badi pagalpan ki hai.I didn't think about you ...I'm sorry Dev. I can't marry you ,(she spoke in the verge of crying )

D- hmm ok ...(he said  casually )

A- meine kaha na Dev, I can't marry ...

Being baffled with his casual behaviour she angrily turned for her breath to halt the next second to witness shivaay to be seated beside her in groom's dress .He passed a wink to her and continued the work which the Pandit was mentioning every now and then .While she froze and looked at him with widened eyes as she haven't recovered the shock yet .She slowly took her hands and placed it on his lap to check if it was her dream ,but no he was certainly sitting beside her for real .With struggling to find words ,she somehow gathered strength and spoke .

A- sh ....shi...shivaay ??(she stammered)

By the time her eyes already started pouring down with tears which he immediately wiped before speaking.

S- arey, why are you crying now ? Sab teek hogaya hai ,vahan dekho .

He pointed towards pinky who instantly passed on an assuring smile to annika .Beside pinky ,dev stood showing thumbs up to annika .

S- you don't have to worry about anything now ,Jab tak mein tere saath hoon ,teri zindagi mei vahi hoga jo tum chahthi ho .(he spoke while cupping her face )

She remained silent, still being confused on this 360 degree turn .

S- what ?still , aren't  you out of the shock ?What did you think? Mein tuje itni aasaani se jaane dunga mujse door ?Samajgayi mein sab ,...kal raath...

Flashback

The whole scene where annika broke down and cried out her heart and confessed her love for shivaay in her room was witnessed by shivaay .After seeing her running inside OM ,he followed her to know the reason behind her sudden sorrow. Reaching near her room, he heard her continuous sobs ,with not being to handle it he tried to open the door but it was locked .Then he slightly opened the window and peeped in .On listening to her confession ,he felt like his long lost life returned back to his body .Like his soul had reached him .He understood,why she wasn't ready to accept her feelings for him .He can't let her go ,after knowing that her happiness only lies with him ...how could he?He was determined to hold her hands at any cost. Be it anything, for his lover paanika ...he could go thounsand miles to bring her to his world .

S- itni pyaar karthi ho mujse ??(while watching her crying)You are ready to sacrifice me ,but I ain't. Tumhari kushi mere saath hai , ye muje patha chal gaya hai ,so I'll do what's needed .Ham saath honge, poori zindagi hai annika ...(he declared still looking at her )

Without wasting a moment, he went to pinky's room to find her arranging annika's clothes in a trolley.

S - mom...

P- shivaay ? You didn't sleep yet ?I know, you must be thinking of annika na .First time she's going to leave you for a long time right ?,I can understand  ,how difficult it is for you .(she made him sit on the bed and caressed his face )

S- mom ,..(after a long pause )stop this marriage  (he said looking straight with his eyes glistening with tears )

P- what ?(shocked )kya kaha tumne ?

S- plss mom ,I love annika ....plss stop this marri...

Befor he could complete a sharp slap landed on  his cheecks .

P- kya bakwaas kar rahe ho tum ?It isn't a joke shivaay ,annika ki zindagi hai .(she said angrily)

S- that's what I'm saying even .Meri annika ki zindagi hai ,plss .Usse uski kushi de dijiye. Plss... (he cried lying on her lap )

P- shivaay ...ro rahe ho ?(cupping his face )Kya huwa beta ?

S- annika bhi mujse hi pyaar karthi hai maa ,she didn't say it because she isn't ready to hurt you.She doesn't want to disrespect you or bring shame to you after knowing Dev's mom is suspecting our relationship.She doesn't want to break the trust which you have for us .Pagal ladki, she doesn't know that even you would choose her happiness over anything. Vo bahut hi innocent maa ,pagal hai vo ladki. Sabke baare mei sochthi hai par apni nahi .Mei usse aisi tootthei huwe nahi dek saktha hoon mom.Plss ,miladijiye hum donon ko .We both love each other ,yahi sach hai (he spoke with shivering voice due to tears)

Without replying anything, pinky slowly pulled shivaay from her lap and made him sit .She released her hold on him with null reactions on her face and stood up like a statue .

S- mom??(confused )

P- all these days I've been thinking that I'm being a good mother for annika in fulfilling all her needs and supporting her in all troubles. But ,bechari ne mere liye itna bada ......nahi ...nahi (nodding negatively)Mein meri bachi ki kushi nahi cheenungi ...nahi .Tho kya huwa ,Dev aur uske maa se maafi maangni hai ,bas vahi haina ...I'm ready to do anything for my child.Karoongu mein ,kuch bhi

She said with a determined voice. Shivaay who was silently listening to this, just rushed to hug her and crushed her in a tight hug .Whatever the situation is ,with his mother he knows ...that nothing can go wrong in his's or annika's life .

S- thank you mom ...thank you (he cried )

P-  apni mom ko thanks bologe ...?

Saying which she planted a tender kiss on his forehead in assurance that she will make things right .

Scene shifted to Dev's house ,Shivaay and pinky have come there to meet him .All this is happening within the same night .They explained about the situation  to Dev and apologised to him .

D- aunty ...shivaay ,its ok .You don't have to apologize. I'm just amused !! The love you both have for annika is ...is just ! Yahi sahi hai ,I can't give her the happiness which is destined to be given by you shivaay .Mein kabhi tum donon ke beech mei nahi aana chahtha hoon.It is definitely late ,but still not very late. Aapka annika ,aapka hi rahegi ,I'm happy for both of you.(he assured with a smile )

Shivaay was just taken back by his genuineness.

S- I'm sorry ,if I had hurt you anytime. I really am .

D- I know ,don't worry shivaay .It wasn't your fault,I believe it to be the outrush of your love .I'm just happy for annika, no one can love her the way you do .Not me even ...(patting his shoulders )

Shivaay could do nothing but just pull him in a friendly hug .How gently the guy was handling the situation!

D- don't worry aunty, I'll talk to my mother. Even she will understand....and haan ,I believe I'm invited for your wedding tomorrow?(he smiled playfully)

S- yeah sure, annika ke liye bahut hi bada surprise hogi.I just can't wait for the moment !

Flashback ended

Listening to everything, annika remained stunned .

S- hey paanika (shaking her )meine kaha na ? Tere saath kabhi nahi chodunga mein .(he assured through eyes while holding her hands )

She just smiled faintly before ...

A- I'm sorry...sorry shivaay (she cried )I'm sorry ...sorry (she was struggling to open her eyes )

She kept on repeating the word and slowly laid her head on his chest and held hugged him tightly. Within few seconds, her nose started bleeding noticing which  he was terrified.

S- annika...(he shouted)annika kya huwa ???(he was hell scared by now )

The whole crowd gathered there were witnessing this with shock .

With each passing moment, she was falling more weak .Cupping his face she tilted his head to make him look into her eyes and traced her palm throughout his face .

A- I'm sorry idiot ,muje maaf kardho...

Muttering these words which just turned out to be a mere whisper, she lost her conscious with her face hid within the crook of his neck .

P- annika .....(shrieking )

Shivaay remained still ,not knowing what was going around. He prayed ,that this should immediately become his dream and he should just wake up soon from this nightmare .But ,...

Dev and Mrinali's character wasn't meant for negativity from the beginning. It was just their character positions which might have seemed to be a problem .This story wasn't ever ,brought for any plot- planning or any villain- vamps. It was completely done to bring out the essence of the underlying love of friendship. Hope, I'm doing justice to it. If you feel ,I'm failing,plss do let me know .
