I'm glad to have you

3rd Person POV

when indiana got to the stables the next morning, it was filled with pain and despair. she knew why, firefly had been taken the night before and mia was hurting but today was also pony camp. indiana and marcus sat down next to mia as they comforted her. they looked up and saw a police car drive in with pin in the back. he got out and made eye contact with indi, she nodded at him before she turned to sam and the others

"we have to go" indiana spoke and she got up as marcus grabbed her hand and mia followed after them. indiana blushed lightly as she held his hand and swung it. they walked to the paddock and saw everyone else waiting

"indiana can you help me?" sam asked and indi nodded as she let go of his hand and helped sam with the grill and then she helped her up so sam could talk

"marcus i need you and month to go to the paddock and show them the ropes of what to do. do you think you can do that?" she asked and marcus nodded as he walked away. indiana was pulled by jade and Becky to watch marcus in the paddock with monty. she felt odd with them but she didn't say anything as everyone clapped and cheered for marcus

"girls are gross, right bob?" he said and indiana laughed as she nodded and marcus pulled monty to a stop in front of everyone

"remember, it's all about confidence , in yourself and in your horse" he said and they all cheered for him as he winked at indiana and she smiled as she looked at the ground

"oh my god, he just winked at you. hot marcus is in love with you" becky said and indiana looked at her

"if he's hot marcus , does that mean i'm hot indi?" she asked and she watched as they both blushed and looked at the ground. indiana nudged Becky and she walked away from them with a smirk

"you have fun doing that don't you?" marcus asked as he led monty away and she followed. she smiled as she nudged marcus and shrugged

"it's just a little game" she exclaimed and he laughed as he brought monty back to his stall and they heard mac neighing. they both laughed and smiled before they walked off and went to the arena with everyone else

"okay,guys. let's get this camp started. everyone, meet in the paddock" sam called and they all walked to the paddock. indiana stood next to marcus and they watched

"can everyone gather round, please?" sam asked and they all stood in front of her

"welcome to bright field stables first ever pony camp" sam announced bed and they all cheered

"okay we are going to start riding and as riding is very hungry work, you'll be very pleased to hear that our barbecue is up and running. we're also gonna on our horses and riding so impress me. okay, campers under under come with me and grab a shovel because we have some mucking out to do" sam said and she led the kids away as indiana smiled. marcus turned to her and they smiled before he turned to zoe and then back to indiana

"go talk to her" she said and marcus shrugged as he lifted the hand that held indianas and smiled

"i don't need to, i'm here with you" he told her and she smiled as they started to joke around

"we should tell her we know" he said and indiana sighed as she nodded and led marcus over

"hey" indiana began

"hi" zoe said back

"so you came" marcus exclaimed and indiana laughed

"yeah here i am" zoe retorted

"are you gonna start secretly filming us again?" marcus asked and zoe sighed

"okay, guys. we weren't filming you. it was" zoe tried but indi cut her off

"it's alright zoe. Becky and jade told us but they also said something about your mom. we thought that you weren't coming" indiana exclaimed

"yeah my mom actually ended up signing the permission slip. she used pink pen, and her handwriting was shaky, cause she just finished her coffee" zoe ranted and indiana smiled

"it's alright zoe, we're glad you're here. we'll see you on the hack" Indiana said

"oh and pin is coming with us by the way" indiana said and she turned away with marcus and led him away. they walked to the stalls and brought monty and mac out

"i'm glad that we do this with each other, i'm glad to have you" He said and she smiled as she nodded and climbed onto mac. marcus climbed onto monty as they finally tacked them and then they turned to see jade, Becky and zoe

"let's go" pin called and they all started to ride . indiana rode along with marcus as they stayed close together and smiled
softly. that was until zoe rode forward and started to ride next to pin. indiana watched with marcus as zoe tried to talk to pin

"indiana you're in charge" pin called and he rode off . indiana looked at marcus and then she watched zoe ride off after pin and she shook her head before she turned and looked at the others

"well then let's go" she exclaimed and she rode off with the others following after her. they got to a tree and they sat down under it. indiana leaned her head against marcus's shoulder and listened to becky tell them a story. she held a smile on her face and laughed as did marcus.

"beyond those hills is the old barn. which, by the way, is totally haunted" becky said and indiana smiled

"that barn is about as haunted as a saddle pad" jade retorted and marcus laughed as did indiana

"thousands of years ago, a greedy lord heard of the great treasure hidden in the hills. he rode out in search of the treasure,and then a huge storm came in. but the lord pushed on , desperate to find the loot and then he froze to death. now the ghost pony wanders the moors. and until she's reunited with her master, she claim our souls one by one" Becky said and fletcher whinnied grabbing their attention

"grow up, becky" mia said and indiana sighed before she looked at the others

"we should start to head back" indiana exclaimed and they all nodded as they got up and got back on their horses. when they got back to the stables, indiana turned around to see zoe riding in and then she heard and saw someone but she didn't hear them , she heard them

"GET OFF THAT HORSE RIGHT NOW" she heard and she seethed as she turned to see a women walking towards zoe with an angry look on her face

"mom" zoe said

"mrs.phillips, is there a problem?" sam asked

"yes , there's a problem and zoe knows exactly what it is" maggie spoke

"mom you don't have to be scared, i'm good. i've been having lessons. i galloped" Zoe tired

"i asked you not to come here. i explained, you promised" maggie stated

"well, i implied that it was all right" frank spoke

"i'm her mother. i decide what's best for her. rosie's clearly been so frightened" Maggie stated

"rosie's doing really well" sam interrupted

"she's right mom. rosie's been doing great, she's actually enjoying herself" zoe retorted

"why did she have someone call me to come get her?" maggie exclaimed and they all looked at mia

"i rang before you told me, i swear. i would never drop zoe in it. it's just well you looked so upset" mia spoke and indiana scoffed

"this is stupid" indiana said under her breathe and she looked at zoe as they left the stables. she felt horrible

mia was and would always be a bad person, indiana had always known it
