I was listening to my iPod when a shiny, red mustang came in through the pack gates.
Kale and Emma. My best friends. Well my only friends.
They parked, and the first one out was Kale. He ran over to me and pulled me into a huge bone-crushing hug, and kissed my cheek.

No, we aren't dating but we used to, and we got used to it. After we broke up, we never stopped kissing each other's  cheeks, and it became a friend thing we do. Weird, I know.

"How are you doing birthday girl?" Kale asked.

" Hmmm let's see, I made breakfast for the whole pack FOR Alpha Christian's birthday. And I got an extra slap from my ' brother ' so that was fun " I said looking away.

" I'm sorry baby girl. I wish I was there for you. He shouldn't do that to you at all. But at least he remembered your birthday " I looked up at him and he got my message I think...

" He didn't remember my birthday Kale, he forgot it. Again. And said that it was Alpha Christian's birthday and I should have stopped lying. He thinks I want attention. "

" I am so so so sorry baby girl. You know you have me and Emma. You can always stay at one of our houses, and live with us. You are allowed to move out now, and no one, not even your brother, can stop you. "

" Yes, he can stop me Kale. He is much stronger than me, and he will take me to the dungeons if he sees me trying to leave the pack house without his permission. I have something else but I will tell y'all later at our place."

" Okay. Look here comes Emma, finally."
He said chuckling.

" OH MY GOD HAPPY BIRTHDAY RILEY BEAR. I MISSED YOU SO MUCH YOU'RE FINALLY OF LEGAL AGE TO DRINK WITH US!! " And that my friends is my best friend Emma.

We were in our place and it's very beautiful. No one knows about it except for us...I don't know how no one knows about this place. It's huge!

" So what did you want to talk about ?" asked Kale and Emma at the same time.
I looked at them shocked. They looked at each other....

They turned away from each other and pouted.

" I'm running away from here. I can't take it, I'm the packs punching bag, slave, cook. I do all their homework. I know so much stuff I'm at a college level already when I shouldn't be. And also being rejected pulled my last string. People think I killed my dad when I didn't, and only the Alpha and luna and elders know what really happened. My mom is in the hospital because of it, and I need to leave. I can't do this guys. " I explained. I started to read up at the thought of leaving my friends. But enough is enough.

" Don't cry baby girl. We know you want to leave, and you can. Well support you one hudred percent. But when are you leaving?" Asked Kale in a sad voice.

" Now.  I need to pack, and write letters to the pack, and Luna and alpha. I will write letters to y'all so they won't suspect that y'all know anything okay."

"Okay, Riley just be careful and please stay alive. "

" I will, and in a few years I will come and visit y'all and show y'all the new me. I love you guys."

" We love you Riley forever and always to infinity and beyond." Kale exclaimed.

I hugged them and we left the place that I won't see for a long long time.

I hugged my best friends 5 more times, and went inside the pack house that no one was in.  I went upstairs to start packing anything I have ..
I got:
5 shirts
4 pants
3 shorts
3 beautiful dresses that I never wore
4 sports bras
6 undergarments
And 3 of my necklaces and rings my dad gave to me before he died. All i had left was a leather bracelet that dad gave me. I left it for Cameron so he can remember dad.
Then I started on the letters.

I am running away, I just can't fucking take being y'all's punching bag anymore. Y'all said I was a murderer for what happened that night to MY father. My brother slapping me, and forgetting my birthday hurt, but I got used to him hitting and hating me. But that's not what pulled the last string. Oh no.
What pulled the last string, and what hurt the most was getting rejected by my mate. Yes I found him, and got hurt, but that doesn't matter now 'cause I don't care for him at all. He was an asshole who doesn't deserve a mate. I feel sorry for the slut he chooses to be his mate ...wait no I don't. She will suffer, not me so I'm fine with it.

I put the 3 papers on my ' bed ' and grabbed my bag. I went to my parents room, got a picture of them and stuffed it in my bag. Then I went to their hidden bank safe and put in the pass code -3579- and opened it. I got my share of the money which was $800,000 dollars and closed it.
I have over $800,000 because the Alpha would always give my a little money for cleaning the whole pack house, and I saved it so I have about $810,000. I walked over to the letters again and let a few tear drops drop on them, just for dramatic effects. Then I walked over to the window and jumped out, running to the woods. I stopped for a little bit, and turned around. "Goodbye " I whispered and started running again to the pack border.
