*Thursday May 26th 2022*

The camera turns on as there is a set up of a table and a few chairs around with Paul Heyman sitting in one as he smiles a little.

Paul: Now before you all ask yourself "Paul what is this?" Let me explain because this wasn't initially my idea. So since we are getting a network deal after Hardcore Heaven the network said that ECW needed more things that can be promoted and they said if I didn't figure out something before Hardcore Heaven then Don Callis would show up here and I immediately gave this idea. So what is After Dark you may be asking yourself now. Well ECW After Dark is where we will have our performers talk, hype up their matches, and hell who knows what else. But I will not always be here but someone who will be is standing right out of the cameras view and I'd like to introduce him to you all.

Paul motions for someone to step into the cameras view as he stands and shakes the person's hand as they step into camera view to reveal Chris Van Vliet.

Chris: Paul I can not thank you enough for this opportunity I won't let you down.

Paul nods and smiles a little

Paul: Chris I know you won't I believe in you. So I'm gonna let you start this and don't feel nervous it's just like your other interviews.

Paul Heyman walks out of camera view as Chris sits down behind the desk of the set and smiles.

Chris: Ladies and Gentlemen my name is Chris Van Vliet and welcome to the first ever episode of ECW After Dark. From what Paul told me before we started this won't be a thing that happens after each ECW show but it will happen often. Now first of all I'd like to show all the matches that will be happening at Hardcore Heaven so without further interruptions let's start off with Eddie Kingston vs Jon Moxley in a Texas Deathmatch!

Chris: This match will definitely be something to see as these two friends turned enemies are going to try and beat the other so badly that they can't answer a count of 10. I don't think this match will be at all for the weak stomachs. Up next we have Brian Cage vs Will Hobbs for the FTW championship.

Chris: This match will be very personal for Brian Cage as Team Taz all turned their backs on him and are now trying to get back what belongs to them which is the FTW championship. I can only imagine what will happen when this match starts this Saturday at Hardcore Heaven. Up next we have Matt Cardona doing a open challenge for his ECW Television championship.

Chris: Now I have to be honest here I can't say much about this match as we don't know who will answer it and we don't know if Chelsea Green will be a part like she is in most of Cardonas match. Speaking of Chelsea Gre-

Britt Baker walks into camera view and looks mad as the camera focus on her.

Britt: That thing on!? Is it!?

Chris looks at Britt confused but nods as Britt looks at the camera again.

Britt: Chelsea Green! One of my so called friends or at least someone I thought was my friend. Why the hell you attacked me I don't know. What I do know is that it doesn't matter if it's tonight, Saturday, Sunday. Anyday at all I am going to kick your fucking ass because you messed with the wrong person now! Chelsea watch your back because I'm coming for you.

Britt shakes her head as she walks out of camera view still pissed as Chris is sitting in his chair still confused.

Chris: Well Chelsea Green needs to start looking over her shoulder because Britt Baker is mad about what she did to her. If we can move on the next match is going to be Candice Lerae vs Toni Storm a sure to be amazing match for the ECW womens championship.

Chris: Now both of these women are amazing performers I can tell you all that this match will be incredible. Toni Storm winning a match tonight and Candice Lerae becoming ECW womens champion earlier this month this match is sure to be an instant classic between these two. The next match I actually have two of the men involved in it as it is the Briscoe Brothers vs FTR for the ECW tag team championships in a Old School rules match.

Chris: So Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to introduce the ECW tag team champions Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood FTR.

Cash and Dax walk into camera view holding the ECW tag team championships as they shake Chris's hand who stood up before they all sit down.

Chris: Thank you gentlemen for being here.

Cash and Dax both nod as they put the tag team championships on the table in front of them.

Cash: No problem at all Chris.

Chris nods and smiles a little

Chris: You two are one of the greatest tag teams in the world and at Hardcore Heaven you two are going against, another one of the best tag teams in the world in The Briscoes. What are your tho-

Dax: Listen Chris. I'm going to stop you right there. There is only one Greatest Tag Team of all time, and it's is. The Briscoes don't even compare. We respect them as wrestlers but...let's be honest here, "Dem Boys" ain't nothing.

Chris: Now....Dax, The Briscoes are an incredible team....

Cash: They are Chris, but they don't belong here. They aren't wrestlers. They are trailer trash. How many wrestlers do you see that workout on a fucking farm? Not that many. Don't get me wrong here, they are great but, this business doesn't need them. They need it. It's the only way they keep relevancy.

Chris: Alright....Well there is an advantage in favor of you two, as the match is Old School Rules.

Dax chuckles

Dax: It don't matter if it's Old School Rules, Ladder, a match on their fucking farm, hell even a Deathmatch. We would kick their asses each time because they know they can't beat us.

Chris: Why Old School Rules?

Cash: It's simple Chris. We want to show them that they don't belong in wrestling. This business has gone down lately and we're looking to restore order back in this once great sport, and we start by kicking The Briscoes' asses

Chris: I see. Well, Thank you Gentlemen for your time, and good luck to you at Hardcore Heaven.

Dax: We don't need luck Chris.

Dax and Cash stand up as they walk out of camera view as Chris nods at the camera.

Chris: FTR Ladies and Gentlemen they clearly feel very confident going into their match. Up next we have the main event of Hardcore Heaven as it will be Tommaso Ciampa vs Malakai Black for the ECW World championship.

Chris: A match that was made by Paul Heyman himself. A match that we've seen before but never under these circumstances and my opinion on this match is that both these amazing performers will give all they have and even more to try and win this match. Tommaso Ciampa cutting a promo earlier before being attacked at the end of it by Malakai Black ending ECW tonight but I am curious how after that attack Tom-

A door is slammed open as Chris jumps a little and stands up out of his chair as Tommaso Ciampa walks into camera view holding a towel on his head that has blood on it before he throws it down onto the floor as he looks at the camera pissed off.

Tommaso: MALAKAI BLACK! You think that you did something out there when you attacked me! You think that now I'm gonna be scared or something?  Hell no because now I want this match even more than ever! You made me bleed and I don't give a shit about that because this isn't the first time and it damn sure won't be the last time! It definitely won't be the last time now since I'm here in ECW where me and everyone else put our blood, sweat, and tears into every single match! Malakai I want you to know that I'm out for blood now! I am not gonna stop until I beat and break you in two! You stupid son of a bitch you don't know what you've done because you're not facing this version of Tommaso Ciampa anymore you're facing a side of me that I left in NXT!  You're facing the man who beat you not once or twice but three times and I won't stop now until I end your reign as ECW World champion! So at Hardcore Heaven you're fucking mind games won't help save you! Nothing can help save you when that bell rings because when it does your reign will be over but YOU WILL BE OVER!

Chris doesn't say anything as he looks at Tommaso as he looks back at him with a pissed off expression before grabbing the towel he threw down and walking out the room as he slams against the doors opening them.

Chris looks at the camera as he starts to sit down and still doesn't say anything before he fixes his shirt and takes a sip of water.

Chris: Well Ladies and Gentlemen I believe this is a good place to end the first episode of ECW After Dark. Everyone here would love to hear your predictions on the internet. Thank you for joining us and we'll see you all this Sunday at Hardcore Heaven!

The camera fades to black as After Dark ends.
