Your POV

It was the end of the lesson, and Professor Smith (the women that had caught me this morning) was shouting to the class our assignment, "You must re-do this experiment with your parents at home!" She smiled at the class as she sat down at her desk, as she huffed.

I stood up from my seat and gathered my things, I started to walk down the stairs, when a boy pushed past me and exclaimed angrily and contently towards me, “This will be a tough assignment for you then, you homeless orphan!"

He ran off towards his friends. I look down at all of my papers strewn across the stairs and the front of the classroom.

I sigh and start picking them up. I hear footsteps running towards me and before looking up I exclaimed,"If your here to come and mock me about my dead parents again, then your mistaken."

I looked up to see the women--I mean Mrs Smith standing there with a concerned look on her face. "Are you ok?" She asked me, "Did he hurt you?"

"No, Miss. He just gets on my nerves that's all. He hasn't hurt me, at any time." Not that anyone's knows of anyway. I think to myself.

Miss Smith had picked up the rest of her papers and smiled giving them back.

"Thank you."

"No problem, it was for helping me at the beginning of the class."

"Yeah, im sorry about them."

"No,no! I should be the one apologizing! I didn't help you in any way." She looked down as if she was ashamed.

I smile at her and she smiles back.

I check the time, "Shoot! I'm sorry I have to go."

She furrowed her brow as if in disappointment.

I wave goodbye, as I walk out of the class.

Suddenly I remember the assignment, so I walk back in, to see Miss Smith with another girl, a boy and an elderly man.

My eyes widen as I recognise the girl from all those years ago, that i told to run away. Then I finally recognise 'Miss Smith' as The Doctor!

I gave a yelp of surprise as tears fell down my face. The yelp must have been quite loud, as they all turned to look at me.
