Marinette P.O.V.

"I know right? I can barely believe it myself!" I squeaked as Alya and I approached our school together. We were discussing the event that occurred last night on my balcony with a certainly handsome hero and myself.

"Can I please, please, please put this story on my blog? Do you realize how many hits I'll get if I do?" Alya whined, her phone in-between her hands. I laughed and shook my head.

"Alya, I've already told you, you can't. I don't want any drama to unfold between me and Chat, besides, it was only a kiss."

She gawked at me, but quickly rolled her eyes in response, "Fine, but if anything else happens you need to at least tell me, okay, girl?" I smiled and agreed. Though, all I could think about was last night. The way Chat pulled me in, the way he spoke, his eyes... oh it was magic.

"Hey, Alya!"

We both looked up to see Nino standing with Adrien, and strolled over to him. He said something about being on a game show as a guest DJ, so we congratulated him. Although, my excitement for my friend was put on pause as I looked over at Adrien. He was staring at me.

"Hey, Adrien? You... okay? Why are you staring at me like that?" I asked and leaned forward a little bit in confusion.

He blinked and sucked in a sharp breath, glancing over at Nino. He was about to say something, but the ring of our school bell interrupted him, so I took this chance to step away - as the whole situation was weirding me out a bit.

As we stepped inside the classroom and took our seats, Mrs. Bustier began the days lesson. So, I did what I usually would and pulled out my sketch book and began drawing whatever came to mind.

Soon enough, I discovered my paper was covered in sketches of Chat Noir and other cats, the animal type. This, of course, didn't go unnoticed by Alya, and she began giggling. I shushed her, and covered the sketches with my arm.

When I turned to face forward again, I saw Adrien staring at my book, his face red and flushed. I gasped a bit in embarrassment and shoved the sketchpad into my backpack.

Why was he even looking back at me in the first place? I thought to myself as I pretended to listen to my teacher.

TIME SKIP

"I still can't believe you kissed Chat Noir!" Tikki said, her mouth full of cookie crumbs.

I laughed, "Me too, but honestly it might not even be that big of a deal, what if he doesn't come ba-" A loud thump sounded from above me, and I quickly turned off my sewing machine, waiting for another sound.

The slightest of knocks came from the trap door above my bed that led to my balcony. My heart raced as I climbed up my ladder and unhatched the lock. Suddenly it opened to a bright pair of evergreen eyes.

I smiled brightly, "H-Hi, Chat N-Noir! What brings you h-here?" The warmth that spread across my cheeks was an obvious blush, making me a bit embarrassed, but I took deep breaths in an attempt to cool off.

"May I come in, Marinette?" He asked resting his head on his arms, which lay on the rim of my trap door. I felt my face and ears become much warmer as he asked to come inside.

"I-In here? Uhm, Yeah, of course! Hop onto me next to my bed, Chat." I said moving aside, allowing space for him to enter. Quickly my eyes widened as I realized what I said.

I glanced up to Chat Noir, whose face was probably almost as red as mine, and I waved my hands in the air, "I-I, I meant hop on to my bed next to me! Sorry, sorry, sorry!"

"Hehe, it's fine, Princess," He said, and stepped onto my bed, closing the door behind him. We climbed down and I locked the door that my parents enter through to the downstairs. As I turned around, I saw Chat Noir staring at my wall.

MERDE, I screamed in my brain as I saw all of the photos of Chat I had cut out, or printed and pasted there. Not to mention my computer wallpaper which had hearts all over it with a bunch of images of him. Oh no oh no oh no oh no!

I rushed over to him and covered his eyes with my hands, "Actually, kitty, maybe we should go up to balcony, okay?!"

He laughed and moved one of my hands, allowing him to see with one of his eyes, "Actually, Marinette, I think we should stay down here. It's more comfortable and I love the decoration~"

I blushed more than I ever thought possible, "Th-Those are just there because I needed... uh... inspiration! For my new Chat Noir inspired outfit!"

"Whatever you say, Princess, but I still think we should stay here," He whispered. All throughout this talking I had pushed him toward the ladder, and his back was up against it.

"Princess?" I asked, pausing for a second to understand this... this nickname he apparently gave me. All of a sudden, he leaned forward, my arms had fallen to my sides, and he wrapped one of his hands around my chin and the bottom of my cheeks. He lips were less than two inches from mine, and I could feel the soft breaths escaping his mouth.

"Why of course, what would a night in shining armor - such as me - be without his princess?" He whispered, a smirk stretching across his face.

"I, I... uh-" I had began, but was pulled into a soft, innocent kiss, one less sloppy than the kiss we shared the night before. I smiled against his lip as he pulled me closer to him, and I wrapped my arm around his neck. We pulled away and I rested my head on his shoulder, and we stood there, just holding one another.

I've never felt more happy, nor have I ever wanted to pull away. Because in this moment, we were all that mattered. There was no trouble, no worry, and there was no way anything could shatter me.

Oh, how I was wrong.
