"What in tarnation-" Gary started to ask when he was suddenly tackled by something white and fluffy. Recognizing their savior, Max yipped, "Gidget! You're here!" Pinned to the floor, Gary growled, "Get off of me you puffy dog!"

"Fat chance Gary. Guys, get them down!" Gidget ordered. Mel and Buddy scurried away towards the crane's controls. Pops, meanwhile, eyed the big red button that Gary was about to press. "Isn't this the button that'll get Tiny Dog and Ball of Fluff down?" the elderly basset hound asked sincerely. He went to press it when Max and Snowball started screaming, "No! Don't! Not that button!"

"Yes, press that button!" Gary insisted. Covering his mouth with a free paw, Gidget called out, "Chloe! Grab Pops." Muttering something under her breath, the gray tabby cat strolled over and grabbed the basset hound by the tail and dragged him away from the big red button.

"Oh thank goodness- woah!" Max yelped as the crane spun counterclockwise. It then switched directions repeatedly with jerky movements. Kicking his feet wildly, Snowball hollered, "Who's operating the machine?!"

"Maybe it's this one?" Mel asked, pressing a button. The crane's lights started flashing. Batting a joystick around helplessly, Buddy protested, "No, it's got to be this one! I think." A cough alerted the two dogs that they weren't alone anymore. They looked up to see Tiberius perched on the dashboard. The hawk gently pushed a different joystick down, allowing the crane to lower to the ground. "Oh," Mel mumbled, "It was that one."

"This isn't the last you've seen of me!" Gary swore, his voice muffled through Gidget's paw. Ignoring the crazy old mad scientist beagle, the fluffy white Pomeranian watched as the crane lowered Max and Snowball to the ground slowly. Seeing how they were in safe hands now, she woofed, "Chloe, don't let him run anywhere." Padding over, Chloe sat down on Gary's tail. This allowed Gidget to go check on the two saved animals.

"Boy am I glad to see you Gidget," Max declared, wagging his tail as Mel and Buddy freed him and Snowball from the chains. Giving her boyfriend a kiss, Gidget giggled and remarked, "I'm happy that you're safe. I love you Maxie."

"Awww," Mel and Buddy cooed, watching the couple interact. Gagging to make fun of the two lovebirds, Snowball interrupted, "Hey, Romeo and Juliet and the Merrymen, what are we doing with the psychopath here?" Raising his paw in the air, Mel piped up, "I have an idea!"

"Hello? Anyone there?" Gary called. He was alone in the warehouse, chains and hanging upside down from the crane.
