It bound her feet. She stood there breathless without turning toward him .

He stepped closer to her. His arms went around her waist from back and encircled her in a back hug.

"Are you serious? You want to leave ?" His chin rested on her shoulder, "Please don't do this to yourself, to me, to us." He whispered seductively in her ear, his lips brushed her earlobe slightly.

She felt the shiver in spine and she curled up in his arms turning towards him.
"You can't leave me alone in this moment. You just can't." He whispered, taking her in tight embrace.
"Don't stop yourself from feeling and living this moment." The sky roared with thunder and lightening. He placed a warm kiss on her forehead. His lips hardly left her skin and another kiss was placed on her left eyebrow then on eye, cheek and his lips slide to touch hers'.

"You don't Love me."

"What?" His eyes widened with shock at her words while his hold turned softer.

"You don't Love me." She said with a firm tone and tears of fire in her eyes.
"Who said that? Can't you see or even feel who are you for me?" He held her by shoulders firmly looking straight in her eyes.
"You never said those words to me, neither talked about marrying me. Did you?"
She pushed him backwards, tears were flowing on her cheeks by now.

"What are you talking about? That too at this moment? What's wrong with you Haya?" He cupped her beautiful face in his palm. His eyes got flooded with pain as his life was not ready to trust him. "Don't you trust me?"

"I love you." She replied with the same pain in her eyes. "But that doesn't mean that I don't have self respect." She added removing him palm from her face.

"Now what do you mean by this? When did I disrespect you or even misbehave with you." His face turn a bit stern.

"You never did such thing but neither you gave me the honour of calling you Mine." She stepped backward while tears started from her eyes.

"I am all your dear, why are you doing all this? These questions, these tears, this pain! Why can't you get that I can't see you like this!" He held his head out of confusion and pain.

"You can only cause this pain but not tolerate it. Isn't it? " she smirked at him..tears had started to flow from her eyes.

She turned to leave the room as it was unbearable for her as well.

"You can't leave me alone. Just stay!" He took few steps ahead and held her hand, pulled her back and made her to face him.

"What you want?" She screamed at him with frustration.

"I want you to be with me. For this moment, for this night, for the coming day, for rest of my life." He pulled her more close looking straight into her eyes.

She could feel his warm breath on her lips as they were very close. His lips had hardly touched hers' when she whispered, "Do you Love me? Will you marry me?"

His eyes widened. She looked up straight in his eyes with pleading eyes.
"Answer me please. Even a lie, just say it."

She hugged him tight and hid her face in his strong chest as a tear rolled down her cheek.

He was standing there like a stone. Like something had frozen his soul. He stood there lifeless without any expression while she was crying bitterly hugging him firmly.

"Just say it please. Even if you don't mean it. Even if I don't mean anything for you. Even if am among those ex girlfriends of your's. I just want to be live it even if it's a lie. I have come here tonight not just because you asked for a dinner date but because I wanted to prove each of them wrong who told me that you don't love me. Who said you can't fall in Love."

He stood there like stone without even hugging her back. His heart was sinking. He always had fear for this kind of situation. He had broke many hearts before this but this time he really didn't want to.

"Why are you not replying? Say something anything! But please don't be mum." She drew back a bit and placed her palm on his cheek.

He held her hand and placed a warm kiss on her palm. He stood still pressing her palm against his lips with tightly closed eyes as if preserving her warmth in himself.

A smile appeared on her face while a drop of tear rolled down her cheek, "don't worry am not going. I was fool reacting on what others said. How can I? When I know you, your eyes talks more then your words." She pulled back her hand from his and encircled her arms around his neck to hug him tight. She almost stood on her toes to hug him and whispered in his ear with close eyes.
"I know what am I for you yet please say it. Please say it once." And her tears started once again with realization of the fact that he never used those magical words.

He hugged her back more firmly almost picked her to take her Up to his height.
"You are my World. I can't even think of myself without you. You gave me feel to be alive. I..." and burst into tears.

"I what? Say it please. Complete your sentence." She drew back in his arms only leaning over his face. Her lips were about to touch his.

"I can't lie to you. You are my everything but I don't believe in Love so how can I tell you something that I don't believe that even exists."
He said looking straight into her eyes with tears in his eyes.

A drop of salty water dropped from her eyes on his cheek as she was still raised in his arms, leaning her face over his.

"I am your world and you don't love me?" She said with questioning looks and a sarcastic smile on her lips, looking straight into his eyes.

"You know what happened with my mother. That man left her saying there's nothing like love left in their relationship when I was in her arms.
It was a love marriage." He made her sit on bed and sat on floor hugging her knees. He placed his head on her lap.
" If it was Love then it faded away in really very short period."
Tears started to flow from his eyes again and he hid his face in her lap.
She caressed his head.

"You know what I want you forever with me. Please don't use such temporary words in this relation."
He looked up at her holding her hand.

"If it's not love then What it is?" She placed her other palm on his cheek.

"I don't know. I don't even want to know! Anything! It can be anything but Love. Because it fades away. People draws apart and I won't let you go away." He stood up in anger wiping his tears off and looked away.

"If it's not Love then I should not be here at this moment." She stood up from her place and grabbed her purse.

"Where are you going? You can't!" He held her hand and pulled her back to face him. He pulled her so hard that she turned and banged with his strong chest. A tear rolled down from her eye. She didn't want to but stepped back.

"I have to..." she looked into his eyes there were many emotions to be said but She was unable to voice them. He was not ready to understand.

"You have to what?" He stepped ahead and held her by shoulders. Tears of anger and frustration were there in his eyes as well.

"If you can't call it Love then I have to call it Infatuation! And I can't be with you just for a momentary infatuation. I came here tonight with you leaving my whole world behind on a trust that I am with the love of my life. My life partner. But you broke that dream." She said it all in one go with anger and pain.

"Fine call it what so ever you want but don't go please. Just be with me tonight." He grabbed her more close and hugged her tight.

They both were crying their heart's out, hugging each other tight as if there's no tomorrow.

"Let me go." She whispered hugging him firmly.

"No!" He replied with anger kissing her head.

"Please. If I stayed, I will never be able to look straight into my own reflection. Now it's matter of my self respect and love for you."
She said looking up at him.

"If it's that important I will not force you." He drew back his arms.

She looked at him with tears. As if she was expecting something else from him.

"But if you goes tonight we can't be the same Raunak and Haya ever." He said wiping his eyes, looking away.

"Trust me we can't be. As we have left them far behind tonight." She wiped her tears and composed herself.

She turned and took few steps away from him. His heart sank with each step of her walking away from him. But he kept his looks unaffected.

"Don't worry I will be around you. But not infront of you if it's love you will realize. If it's not and you don't calls me back I will disappear without letting you know." She stopped at the threshold and said without turning back.

His heart was sinking so was her's but she stepped ahead and left him behind. He was still standing by the window and watching her going away out of his room, his house and his life too as he would never call her back. He could never accept his feeling as love.

He can never cheat her like his own father did.
"Was it Love? Because I hurt you the same way! Though I didn't want yet I did. No It wasn't because I still feels the same for you though you broke me, left me alone tonight." He said to himself and broke down into tears, falling on knees. That stormy night had changed everything.
