Note: The following story contains minor blood/gore. Music is where I got the idea of this short story.

The snow continued to fall. As far as anyone could tell, there wasn't a single thing in sight. All it was was a snow covered forest. A figure could be seen making its way through the forest, completely covered in snow.

It appeared to be a young girl. She looked as though she was 16 and all she was wearing was a thick jacket, thick pants, but no hat or gloves to keep her warm. She crossed her arms, trying to stay warm.

She looked up, whipping away the snow that got stuck on her eyelashes. She squinted, trying to find somebody. However, she couldn't see anyone. She continued moving, refusing to stop. She needed help, anyone could tell.

"Mom? Dad? Abby?" she called out, hoping someone would hear her. She waited for a response, but the forest was silent. It was clear that there was nobody else around to help her "Someone? Anyone?" she asked, her voice cracking.

It was getting harder to pick up her feet in the heavy snow, her boots completely covered in it. She didn't stop, a flicker of determination in her blue eyes. The wind swished, sending more snow. She started coughing, pausing for a moment.

N-no! I can't stop! I need to get help! She thought, continuing to walk. She gritted her teeth against the cold, letting out a sneeze. She sniffled, her nose beginning to bleed. She paused, touching her nose with her nearly frozen hand.

Horror struck her gaze. Oh no... She thought, her eyes wide. A sudden thought hit her. I might not make it out of here alive... She thought, fear gripping her heart. She realized that nobody would be there to save her.

She was done for. But what about Charlie? I love her too much to leave her! She needs me! She thought, tears slowly rolling down her face. Charlie, the girl's girlfriend, would be lonely without her.

She thought about all her friends and family, dropping to her knees. Her body felt frozen and tears continued to stream down her face. She looked up at the sky, her nose still bleeding "I'm so sorry, Charlie... I love you..."

She fell to the ground, holding her hands close to her chest. Inside her hands, she was holding a beautiful necklace. Written on it was "C x I <3." She kissed the necklace, slowly closing her eyes "Goodbye everyone... I love you all..." she whispered.

The wind carried her words, echoing them throughout the forest. She closed her eyes, frozen tears on her face. Finally, she passed away, her spirit heading towards the sky. A search party found her the next morning.

Charlie took the necklace from the girl, crying and wailing. The hospital took her dead body away, Charlie crying over it "It's all my fault... I'm so sorry Isabella... It's all my fault..." Charlie sobbed, tears streaming down her face.

Isabella's spirit sat next to Charlie. However, Charlie couldn't see her dead girlfriend. Isabella hugged Charlie, tears beginning to fall from her eyes.

I'm so sorry Charlie... I shouldn't have gone off alone. Don't blame yourself for my death... It was my own fault... I love you Charlie.
