Giving her heart the wheel for a little bit, Gidget had no idea what would happen as a result. Now here she was kissing her best friend. The bold move had been so sudden that she hadn't even realized what had happened until it was too late. There was no backing out now. With her eyes closed, Gidget had no way of knowing how Tiberius was reacting to the situation at paw.

Tail fanning out as far as it could go, Tiberius stared wide eyed at Gidget as she unexpectedly kissed him. Two seconds into the moment though, he relaxed and kissed her back, closing his eyes. His heart felt like it could possibly burst. He couldn't explain the feelings that were inside of him. Completely lost in the moment, the old hawk didn't notice that his wings had wrapped around Gidget.

The pair stood there kissing each other for almost two minutes. When their lungs started begging for air, they finally pulled apart. Gasping for air, Gidget gazed up at Tiberius. "Was that your first time?" she asked. Lowering his head, the old hawk mumbled, "That bad, huh?" Smiling mischievously, Gidget suddenly pinned Tiberius on his back without warning. Her face close to his own, she whispered, "I actually loved every bit of it."

"Well, in that case, could we..." Tiberius began to ask. Gidget already knew what his question was as she leaned down and kissed him again. This time, he was more prepared. Just special.

The old hawk purred softly. He had felt like he was walking on air. The two friends gazed into each other's eyes for awhile. Yawning, Gidget gently rested her head on Tiberius's soft chest, mumbling sleepily, "I don't wanna go home yet..."

"Then how about we stay out here, just for tonight?" Tiberius asked softly. Smiling at the thought, Gidget nuzzled the old hawk as she replied back, "Sounds like a plan to me." Closing her blue eyes, the Pomeranian fell asleep to the sound of her best friend's purr. Gazing softly at the small dog wrapped up in his wings, Tiberius nuzzled her. Knowing that she probably wouldn't be able to hear him, the hawk refused to shy away like he had always done as he whispered, "I love you Gidget." Shutting his eyes, he drifted off...
