     Adrien's  POV:

Adrien wished he could forget what happened at the diner, however, he could not get the waitress, distressed look out of his mind. He could tell something disturbed her when the older couple and their young adult children entered the building. He could not put his foot on it, but if he did not know any better maybe they were her family.

He found the whole thing to be unnerving.  Yes, that is exactly how it was to him.

"Why could those people not see how much the words hurt her?" He had spoken the rhetorical question aloud in privacy.

Sometimes he found it helpful to speak his mind even if no one was around to hear it.

    Narrator's POV:

The others who witnessed the rudeness displayed towards the young server felt sorry for her.

None spoke up while the older couple was there, but as soon as they left that was a different thing altogether.  An elderly man along with his wife persistently demanded they speak to the manager about the unseemingly customers.  The concerned people explained how badly the waitress was treated and how she appeared to be nice despite everything.  This particular set of humans just felt sorry for her.

     Manager's POV:

"I was unaware of the situation, but thanks for bringing it to my attention," He  replied.

The manager was not happy to hear one his employees was mistreated by someone who ordered food from the establishment he owned.  Why it made him positively livid.

This sort of thing was uncalled for and must be corrected at once was the thought on his mind once the rest of the customers had cleared out for the day.

He found the waitress in the back room with tears in her eyes.  He knew then it was no mistake the girl was indeed given unjust  behavior by those she looked up too.

He might have failed her today, but he swore he would not let it happen again.  Not if he had any say about it anyway.

   Marinette's POV:

Marinette finished the water then ate an apple and a few cheese cubes. She digested a few leftover sandwiches that were in refrigerator at her boss insistence.  Then, she went on home for the day with the thought that she must be a sight for sore eyes.

She arrived at her small place in no time. It was not that far from work.  She entered it in dismay and slummed on the sofa.  No what was she to do?  Where was she to turn?

It was like no matter how much she tried everyone in her family always found fount with her.  It was unnerving as ever that was what it was to the young lady.  For what is a person if they do not have the special place in their family?
