Snowkit followed Silverfur back to their den. Honey was still following them as well.
"I wan go home," Snowkit mewed.
Silverfur stopped and turned around. She spoke, but as usual Snowkit didn't hear her.
Silverfur turned her head and pointed it the way she was heading.
"My real home," Snowkit whimpered, he knew they were headed to their den.

Silverfur looked at the ground, she couldn't face Snowkit.
"We'll take you home tomorrow," Honey points to the sky, pretends to sleep, then pretends to wake up.

Snowkit watches Honey act out something.
"Tomorrow?" He asks.
Honey nods.
Silverfur shoots a glare at Honey. Was she upset that she said they would take him home? Did she not want to take him home?
Snowkit begins bouncing around Silverfur and Honey.

Silverfur looks at the ground. She hears Honey giggle and out of the corner of her eye she sees Snowkit bouncing around.
She flicks her tail to beckon them and then begins walking towards the den.

Snowkit bounces between Silverfur and Honey as they head back to their den. He wonders how long Honey will be staying with them. Maybe she'll go back to where she came from after they take him home, or maybe she'd stay with Silverfur to keep her company after he was gone.

They settled down in their nest, a bit cramped with the extra cat with them.
Snowkit wrapped his tail around him, resting its tip on his nose.
Before he fell asleep he look out of the den, looking at the stars that shone through leaves.
My mother is probably looking at the same stars, thinking about me.
