It was getting late, and Axel and his friends still couldn't find the remedy for their rash.

"Five baths in one day, and we're out of ointment," Axel frowned.

"Has anyone seen Hugo?" Samira asked.

"I haven't seen him since he came home, Mom," Axel replied.

Suddenly, Hugo showed up, pushing a cart with the three boxes, and asked, "Someone calling me?"

"There you are, champ," Garrick smiled.

"Where have you been, baby bro?" Axel asked.

"I found the remedy for your rash," Hugo smiled, showing the page in his book. "The cure for urtica irritato hereda is just a simple natural remedy. You just need to take an herbal bath. Inside each box are the herbs needed for your bath. I went to the Sapphire Snake, and I showed him the picture, and he gave me the herbs."

"You went to the Sapphire Snake?" Samira asked. "How courageous of you!"

"But we looked in every book in the library," Henry declared.

"Where did you get this book, champ?" Garrick asked.

"It's one of ours," Hugo replied. He showed the front cover of the book.

Axel carefully read the title, "Supernaturals: Simple Natural Remedies to Relieve Severe Irritation?" Then he and Miles glared at Henry because he was the one who judged the book by its cover.

"Henry, you said this book is full of spa treatments for girls," Miles glared.

"We had the answer the whole time, and we didn't even know it because you had to judge a book by its cover," Axel frowned.

"I'm sorry," Henry apologized.

"Well, now we have the answer, so we can get rid of that rash," Garrick smiled. "You might not realize it in the beginning, but the answer could be right under your nose."

"We know that now," Miles grinned. "Thanks, Hugo," he told Hugo.

Once Henry and Miles each picked up a box, they went home.

Hugo thought about what his father said. Hildegard took the amulet from Sofia before yesterday's gym class was over. He remembered that Hildegard was standing right next to his gym bag. Hugo thought Sofia's amulet could've fallen in his gym bag.

"Dad, can the answer really be right in front of us?" Hugo asked.

"It may not seem that way, champ, but the answer is yes," Garrick smiled.

"Things aren't always as they seem, baby bro," Axel assured his little brother. "Just ask Snow White—she had to learn that the hard way. That's why it's important to look at what's inside."

Hugo thought about this—maybe Sofia's amulet was in his gym bag. "Thanks," he smiled.

"What for?" Axel chuckled. "You were the one helping me."

"Because I think I know just where to find Sofia's amulet," Hugo smiled.

Hugo was sure Sofia's amulet was in his bag, but he left it in his locker, so he'd have to wait until tomorrow.
