When we got home. I was surprised to see my mum's younger sister, Mama Timilehin. I still remember clearly, She use to stay with us before she got married and gave birth. I looked so shocked and frozen staring at my favorite anut the eyes. It was as if I was already peeing in my trousers.

"Maami..." I called the way I used to.

"Tunde!" She called back, looking shock at me as if I magically resurrected. "Is that really you?"

"Mummy Timi!" I called again, moving closer I couldn't just believe it or is this another of my stupid dreams in prison? I thought within my self as my heartbeat raised.

Tears of joy slowly clouded in her eyes as I rushed to give her a very, tight hug.

"Where have you been my son?"

Just then, yetunde walked in.

"What's going on here...I'm confused."

"Sit down yetunde..." She ordered, wiping away her tears with the edge of her wrapper. "This man here is your blood-brother."

"What? My brother? How maami! You never told me anything... I mean, you never told me I wasn't even your daughter. No wonder, whenever I bring up the issue why Bro Timi was older than me with only one year, you said it was the plan of God! Why didn't you tell me that you aren't even my mother! Why now of all time? Why me of all people?! What if I didn't become a lawyer, Maami? Would I have ever met him at all?!"

"Yetunde! Yetunde!! Yetunde!!! How many times did I call you?"

"Three times Maami!"

"Are you sure it's three times?"

"Yes maami, you called me thrice?"

"Very good. Listen to me and listen well," she drew the lobe of her left ear, softly and continued. I want you to understand that.... No matter what happens, I would always be your mother. Have I ever lacked in training you or raising you as you are today?"

"No maami, you never gave me a reason to question your love."

"Good! That's the same reason why I love you more. I educated and supported you, unlike I did for Timi. You'll ask me why? Because that was the promise I made to your mum on her sick-bed. To raise you the best of ways and put to shame, not just your dad's family... But those greedy politicians that murdered your parents. They might never even know that you're your father's daughter... That was why I persuaded you to study law."

"What? Are you talking of Ex-Governor Gorilla Falade and the rest?"

"Yes, my daughter... To expose our ex-govenor's secrets which you did. I wouldn't say you should fight for your father's properties that his family members stole and inherited, but I left it in the hands of The Judge of All, The God that sees and knows and plans."

"And today, thank God you've met your met your brother and saved his life... The person I thought was long dead. They never spent a penny on you, yetunde... because they thought you're long dead too. And now that you're getting married and Tunde, your brother is back, I think it's time I introduce you two to the Bamideles'."

"What? But why maami? There's no need for tha-"

"Of course, there's need. We won't fight for any inheritance because both of you are more than that. My God living upstairs has fought it all. This would serve as a greater lesson to them all."
