New update. Stay safe people. 😷

"Let me see your driver's license." Will says as I settle in his car. We're currently at Starbucks because Will said he wanted his morning coffee and of course the gentleman didn't buy for me. Not that I wanted anyway. At least he's seated in front today.

"Why?" I hand him his coffee and give him a confused look.

"You've been driving me for 3 days and I don't know if you're qualified." He explains.

"Okay?" I take out my purse and give him my driver's license.  He scrutinizes it and gives me back. "Happy?" I put inside my purse and he nods sipping out of his coffee. I sigh and drive out of Starbucks.

"Are we picking James today?" I ask.

"No, he has to visit the dentist today." He answers and I nod.

This is how our morning usually goes, I pick him and he doesn't indulge in any conversation with me. He's the worst. I shouldn't complain, since I'm doing this for money, but at least he could talk to me.

I park his car in an empty spot when we get to school. "We're here." I say and he gets out of his car leaving his backpack for me to carry. Freaking asshole.

I sigh and carry his backpack, which ways a ton by the way and lock his car as I get out.

"Maria!" I turn to where the voice calls and I see Jenny running towards me and engulfs me into a hug. "Hey." She pulls away.

"Hey back at ya." I smile at her. Jenny and I have become close this past few days and I have to say, she is a very cool person.

"Did you just drop William in school?" She asks furrowing her eyebrows.

"Yeah, that's the job, I got." I say loudly, so that William can hear.

"Hey Will," Jenny waves at Will, who just nod and enters the school building.

"Please, ignore him. That's how he is every morning." I say to Jenny as we enter the school building.

"I have history test today and I haven't been able to read, because of the audition." She complains.

"I feel ya. I got 83 in my geography test yesterday. I thought my mum was going to fry me with the lobster last night." I joke and we both laugh.

"You're mum sounds like a crazy woman." She jokes as the first bell rings.

"She is a crazy woman." I correct.

"Here, give me that." She takes Will's backpack from me. "I have first period with him, I'll give him in class."

"Are you sure?" I leave it for her. I mean it's not her burden.

"Yes, it's no problem, so you can go to your class." She suggests.

"Okay, thank you." I shoot her a grateful smile.

"Bye." She waves and head to class. I smile and someone bumps into me from behind.

"Watch where you're going." I spat and turned around to see her. Oh god!. "It's you."

"Yes it's me." She says dryly.

I look around and I don't find Kimi, "where is Kimi?" I ask.

"In the restroom." She answers.

"Why, is the lip gloss not shiny enough?" I smirk.

"It's none of your business." She says shifting her bag unconformably. What's up with her?. "Don't you have class to get to?."

"Yeah, sure." I say and walk away from her weirdness. From her look, I know she's up to something and whatever it is I know it's not good.

"I'm certain I will get 60." Jenny whines as we walk to the cafeteria.

"I'm sure you did your best." I try to console her.

"My best was not enough." She complains.

"Well there's nothing you can do about it."

"I swear, I will castrate Will if he doesn't pick my sister for the first round after all the trouble I went through." She says and I laugh as we take our seat and started eating in silence.

"Quick question." Jenny breaks the silence and I look up from my food.

"Hmm?"

"When is Will going to sing that duet with Stephanie?." She asks curiously.

"I don't know." I shrug and glance at their table. James Anderson was already in school and he looks like he cannot bite into anything cause his cheek is swollen. Suddenly I feel sorry for him.

I shake my head vigorously. Don't go soft on him!.  I warn myself.

"Are you okay?" Jenny asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Next person is Samantha Reynolds." Sebastian calls out from his book.

'My sister'. Jenny mouths to me from across the class and I nod. The girl walks in and she looks a lot like Jenny, eyes, hair, face, everything. She's wearing a big sweatshirt and leggings with black converse. She's pretty and she didn't even try.

I  smile when William tells me to start the song. I start playing and she sings Skyscraper by Demi Lovato and I get lost in the melody of her voice.

She's really good. Tiana was right, I am not the only talent person in Westwood high.

            So go on and try to tear me down

She rounds up and Will claps for her with the others and Jenny wear a satisfied smile, I shake my head at her goofy smile.

"Thank you." Will says after she leaves and he leaves the room with Sebastian for water break and Jenny runs toward me.

"Did you hear that?!" She squeals.

"Yeah, your sister is awesome."

"Yeah, it runs in the family." She brags. I shake my head in amusement. "I'll be right back." She says and runs off.

I laugh and sigh. I look around and see that no one else was around, so I close my eyes and start singing. I sing until my throat hurts.

I clean the tears that has fallen from my eyes. I look around again to see that no one was back. Maybe I can sing one of my songs, I haven't sang them in years.

I search my backpack for my Lyrics book and its nowhere to be found. That's not good. I know I put it in here. I haven't taken it out since when I put it there on Monday.

I sigh remembering my encounter with Stephanie today.

Of course that little bitch took it!.

Stephanie what have you done😱.
Meh!.

New update guys and please pray hard so that this corona virus would go, cause I am tired of staying indoors. (Even though that's what I do on a normal day.).  I really want to go back to school. 😞
