Knuckles was walking in the rain wondering why Sonic was acting like nobody cared about him..... the red echidna said to himself, I wonder why Sonic looked like as if we didn't care about him.....I mean sure we avoid him, pranked him once already, and never support him like good friends but at least he cares....right? Knuckles decided to go and check on his little blue friend but when he reached the shack he discovered Sonic was gone..... Knuckles looked around to see Sonic was nowhere and yelled, SONIC?! WHERE ARE YOU?! He ran to the village, the creek, and the jungle to search for Sonic but hasn't found anything about his friend.....but when he sees Sonic lying down at the edge of a cliff he grew more concern and yelled, SONIC!! He ran towards him but when he saw Sonic turning towards him Knuckles stopped.... the depressed and wet blue hedgehog was covered in mud and bruises from all the running, his eyes were red from crying, and his peachy skin was very pale..... he stared at Knuckles and yelled with a real depressing and angered tone, WHAT DO YOU WANT KNUCKLES?! COME BY TO GLOAT ABOUT HOW STUPID AND UNFAITHFUL I AM TO ALL OF YOU?! Knuckles eyes widened as he said those horrid words about himself....the red echidna knew how it feels to be called stupid but he never knew Sonic felt so hurt..... Knuckles took several steps towards his friend and said with a worried tone, no I'm not.... Sonic interrupted, STOP LYING TO ME YOU UNCARING RAT!! Knuckles can't stop thinking why Sonic is really that hurt....then he recalled the prank that was done the day before yesterday he never realized how bad Sonic took it....Knuckles took a few more steps and said with an apologetic-look, look if it's about the prank we did to you the day before yesterday.....we're sorry....actually I'm sorry.....we didn't know you..... Sonic interrupted as he was getting worse, STOP PRETENDING AS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHY I'M LIKE THIS! YOU KNOW ITS MORE THAN THAT AND YOU KNOW I AM EXTREMELY HURT FROM EVERYTHING YOU ALL DID TO ME!!! WHAT HAVE I EVER DO TO YOU?! EVERYONE HATES ME!! ESPECIALLY YOU!! Knuckles was getting more worried as the rain poured more harder and harder Knuckles took two more steps and said, Sonic listen that's not true we do like......Sonic stood up and just step back and screamed, JUST SHUT UP AND STAY AWAY FROM ME KNUX!!! YOU ALL JUST THINK OF ME AS NOTHING MORE THAN AN INSULT!!! Knuckles may not know what an insult is but he knows Sonic is getting a lot worse... Knuckles just walked towards him slowly and said in a really worried tone, Sonic please tell me what's wrong....whatever is happening to you I....I'm not trying to hurt you.....I wanted to be here for you....honest....please look at my eyes Sonic do I look like I wanna hurt you? The blue hedgehog hesitated but looked at him he didn't wanna trust him...but he looked like he was worried about him...Sonic took one step towards him before he tripped towards the cliff....Knuckles yelled as he ran towards him, SONIC WATCH OUT!! Knuckles grabbed Sonics hand and pulled him straight into his arms. Knuckles felt Sonic shivering violently and breathing heavily....he noticed Sonic was not feeling good... Knuckles picked up his little blue best friend and ran to Tails house.
