At a church at 9:00 in the morning Sonic and Manic were halfway ready for preparations of their mother and their sisters farewell. They were wearing black as they attendant the funeral for the Sonia and their moms sake...Manic comforts Sonic as he begin to cry and hug his brother....they never hugged like that since the day their dad died. Meanwhile back at the village Boomer and Tails who successfully bailed Knuckles (who is laying down on the couch pretending to sleep) out were at Tails workshop...Boomer was explaining what kind of person Sonic really is...he explained the whole story.... Tails said, I see.....looks like we messed up...but what I don't get is why he had to go back right now..... Boomer said in a sad tone, well....you see T......his mom and sister Sonia were killed in a horrible accident...so he and Manic are attending it before they make renovations for Sonic to move back to mobotrpolis permanently. Tails said in the same tone, oh no....that's horrible. Boomer said, well I had my girlfriend Ellen install FaceTime on her laptop I wouldn't miss it & Tails if it's okay with you....sit next to me for the funeral...the city's individuals won't be pleased but your my tech-buddy Tails and that's not gonna change. Tails nodded and said, I'm assuming their father took it hard too. Boomer said, well actually Tails their dad died when They were 5 years old and it had been the four of them since that day and that's was before he met you and all...but since the accident Manic and Sonic are all they have left. Tails replied, it must've been hard for the two huh?... Boomer nodded. The two were unaware that Knuckles was listening to everything with his back facing forward. He had a shocked but sad expression on his face as he whispered to himself, no....I don't believe what I am hearing.....Sonics mom & sister are dead?.....it must've broke his heart to find out....maybe....that's the reason he's been so sad..... Sonic....but things ain't bad enough people used to be mean to me and now they're afraid of me because of what I done.....I only did it for Sonic.....I didn't know how much pain he really is in.....I never knew his father died a long time ago....but now his mom and sister are gone too.....this is all my fault.... back at the church Sonic and Manic were mourning over the two coffins.... that's when Ellen came in with her fully charged laptop and said as she sat down and open the laptop, since Boomer couldn't make it he decided to do it in FaceTime mode. The laptop screen revealed Boomer and surprisingly Tails in the background. Sonic was in tears but said, what *sniff* is Tails doing with you? Boomer replied, I know this is a grieving moment but I had to invite him to be here for you both plus he's my tech-buddy. Tails said with a guilty face and a sad tone, I'm terribly sorry about your mom and sister you two. Sonic just stood there crying while Manic was comforting him. When the funeral started it was really sad....people dressed in black, on the left Aleena's friends and colleagues with their families and on the right are Sonia's friends, her boyfriend who is wearing a black hood over his head to cover his face and two brothers, kids holding flowers to put on their caskets, & Sonic and Manic held each other's hand and stood up and face the crowd.....Manic said, ladies and gentlemen we are gathered here today to honor, bless, and remember the memories of our mother Aleena and our sister Sonia.... Sonic said, if anyone has some memories they like to share about Sonia and mom don't hesitate to share those memories with us....Manic and I will go first to share them about them...... Manic began, Sonia had always been a good sis.....though she did scold me and Sonic most of the time but she had her reasons to..... our mom was a great woman if it weren't for her we wouldn't be here...she taught us how to be true to ourselves.... Sonic began, before I left mom supported me to do it....I never knew she would count on me to go there....I just didn't why but.....I guess I never did know that I am never going to see her again.....Sonia had our backs from time to time.....even when me and Manic were playing by ourselves she still did her best to be our sister.....I wanted to say to them that I love them....& I'm gonna miss them.... Sonic began to cry as Manic hugged him as the two boys went to the bench to sit down. One by one they shared their memories about their mom and Sonia....then the church men carried the two coffins to the cemetery and placed one each in the grave......kids lined up to put flowers on each of their coffins.... Manic and Sonic placed each two red and white roses on both of the coffins.....then their coffins were lowered down to the ground as the church men prepared for the burial.....Sonic and Manic looked down on upon the coffins one last time before closing their eyes and hugging each other for comfort.....though some gone home.....most of the people in black cried in their sorrows.
