Stella spent most of the next day trying to figure out what her unfinished business might be. After a lot of thinking and searching, she believes it might be confronting her old band mates. When she goes to visit them, it always seems like they see her, but they act like they don't. Maybe they do that because it's too hard to think that she could actually be there.

She thinks, well, she hopes, that if she confronts them and talk to them, then maybe that will help her crossover so she doesn't have to deal with the jolts anymore. The jolts she gets weren't as bad as the boy's were, but as the days went by they started getting worse.

"Reg, what are you doing?" Stella chuckles, shaking her head at the bassist while she puts her hands on her hips. She was now standing in the Molina's dining room, noticing Reggie was sitting at the table where Ray was looking at pictures he took of the house.

Reggie looks at her with a smile. "Hanging out with my pal, Ray."

Stella raises her eyebrows, glancing at Ray who stared at the laptop. "Gotcha." She nods, going over to the table and takes a seat across from Reggie just as Alex appears next to Reggie.

He sighs loudly, seeing Reggie looking at the laptop in front of Ray. "What are you doin'?"

Reggie shrugs his shoulders, looking at Ray with a smile. "Like I told Ella, I'm hanging out with Ray. And I needed a pick-me up. Hanging out with Ray always seems to do the trick."

Alex furrows his eyebrows, looking at Reggie, then at Ray, and then back at Reggie. "Does it?"

When Reggie just looks back at him with a smile, Alex nods. "Okay."

"Dad, I have a ghost update."

Stella looks over when Carlos walks into the room, carrying a shoebox with him. He puts the shoebox on the table . Alex nods, glancing at Stella. "Okay, this might be interesting."

Stella nods in agreement. "I have a feeling it will."

"Really?" Sighing, Ray looks at his son. "Come  on, Carlos, we talked about this."

Carlos sits on the chair across from Ray. "I know you're not a believer, but listen to this."

Ray raises his eyebrows. "Do I have a choice?"

"No." Carlos replied.

Reggie smiles at Carlos. "You go, little man."

"After Julie played with her hologram band last night, I couldn't sleep." Carlos explained.

Ray smiles. "Those songs do get stuck in your head."

Reggie looks at Stella with a smile and then looks at Alex, elbowing him. "He likes our music too."

"Ah," Alex shakes his head. "Still doesn't count."

"I learned on YouTube that ghosts haunt because something's bothering them." Carlos continues. "So to get rid of them, you gotta find out what crawled up their ghosts butts!"

Reggie giggles, pointing at Carlos as he glances at Alex and Stella. "He said 'ghost butts'!"

Stella giggles a bit at Reggie while Ray points at Carlos. "Language."

"Sorry." Reggie apologized the same time Carlos apologized. Stella chuckles lightly, watching Alex looks at Reggie with furrowed eyebrows.

"So, I searched for the house for clues on who used to live here. And I found a bunch of old stuff in the garage." Carlos opens the shoebox. "What I learned is we're being haunted by a ghost...Who had a dream."

Ray slowly nods. "Okay."

"A dream that never came true." Carlos adds. "A dream that was cut short...By a tragic accident."

Stella's eyes grew wide at hearing that and she turns to Alex and Reggie. They both stare at Carlos with wide eyes. Alex leans back towards Reggie. "Okay, you...Don't actually think-"

"Our house...Is being haunted...By a very talented..." Carlos pauses dramatically as he talks. Stella began to panic more the more he speaks. "Chef."

Stella and the boys all sigh with relief at hearing what he said the ghost is. Ray chuckles lightly. "Looks like somebody fell asleep watching Ghost Hunters and Chopped."

"You know how they're two restaurants in LA that claim they've invented the French dip?" Carlos grins, pointing at the shoebox. "Guess what I found in this shoebox. A recipe...For a third French dip!"

Reggie's eyes grew wide, watching Carlos take out the recipe. "No way!" He said the same time Ray looks at his son with wide eyes and says, "No way!"

"It was invented in 1905...By a guy who...Dreamed of a soggy sandwich." Carlos explains. "But he died before he could share his gift."

"Ah...The gift of dipping." Both Ray and Reggie say.

Stella raises her eyebrows at watching that happen. Reggie looks at her and Alex with a grin, gesturing to Ray. "It's like we're the same person!"

Alex snickers and sarcastically commenting, "Just like!"

Stella chuckles lightly, turning her attention to Carlos when he speaks again. "So we gottta make his sandwich, and we gotta eat it."

"Oh, then," Ray said, deciding to go along with this. "He'll see his dream realized and finally leave this world for good."

"So are you in?" Carlos asked him with a smile on his face.

"Yeah," Ray nods. "Let's make a dream come true."

"Alright." Carlos picks up the recipe he put on the table and walks to the kitchen. "I do love French dips." Ray commented, closing his laptop before he followed Carlos to the kitchen.

After they left, Reggie admits, "I'm gonna miss them."

Alex nods in agreement. "Me too."

"I'm guessing you guys figured out your unfinished business?" Stella asked them, looking at them with raised eyebrows.

"Yeah," Reggie nods. "It's to play The Orpheum. We were going to play there the night we died."

"That's gonna be tough to do." Stella told them. "But I'm happy you guys figured your unfinished business out."

"Did you figure out yours?" Alex looks at her, tilting his head to the side.

"Yep....At least I think so." Stella stammers. "Every time I go visit my old friends they act like they don't see me. But I think they do. I think for me to be able to crossover I'm gonna have to confront them and I guess get some kind of closure from that."

"That makes sense." Alex nodded.

"Yeah." Stella agrees. "So where's Luke?"

"He visiting his parents now." Reggie replied.

"Oh..." Stella's voice trailed off, looking down at the table.

"What's wrong?" Alex questioned, noticing her sudden change of behavior.

"There was just something I wanted to tell Luke." Stella shrugged her shoulders.

"That you love him." Reggie said.

Stella looks at him with wide eyes, feeling her face grow hot. "W-What? How-How did you know that?"

"I didn't until just now." Reggie admitted.

"O-Oh, um..." Stella stammered, looking at them nervously.

"Ella, it's obvious you love him." Alex rolls his eyes. "Well, I guess not obvious to Luke, but still. And I think it's good you want to tell him 'cause he deserves to know."

"But what if he doesn't love me back? What if I ruin our friendship?" Stella questions. She shakes her head. "I can't crossover after knowing I ruined our friendship."

"I can assure you that won't happen." Alex tells her and then groans. "It's so annoying how he always gives you heart eyes and doesn't stop talking about you after you leave."

Stella looks at him with wide eyes. "Wait, what?" A hopeful expression forms on her face. "Does-Does that mean he feels the same way about me?"

"Yeah, Ella," Reggie nods, looking at her with a smile. "He's so head over heels for you."

Stella felt a smile form on her lips. She couldn't believe it. She never once thought that Luke would like her back. Sure they were close, but she didn't think Luke liked her romantically. She never felt this way about anyone before so knowing that he does made her feel so happy.

Stella was now standing in front of the Tremblay household. This was where her old friends Azalea and Harrison now live with their little girl.

Looking through the window of their living room, Stella saw they were watching a movie. She almost felt bad for getting ready to interrupt their evening.

"Hey."

She looks over to her left, smiling a bit when she sees Luke. "Hey." She furrows her eyebrows together when she noticed it looked like he was crying. "What's wrong? What happened?"

"I'm fine." Luke reassures her. "I just went to visit my parents a little bit ago. Julie was actually there visiting them as well and gave them a song I wrote about my mom."

Stella sent him a sympathetic smile. "Oh, well that was nice of Julie to do."

"Yeah." Luke agrees, looking at the window she was now looking at. "Were you gonna try talking to them again?"

"I was just about to." Stella admits. "I think this might be my unfinished business."

Luke looks at her with surprise and sadness. He wasn't ready for her to go yet. He still didn't get to tell her he loves her. "Oh, um, I'm glad you figured out your unfinished business. I'm just...I'm gonna miss you."

Looking at him, Stella smiles softly. "I'm sure I won't be gone right after I talk with Azalea and Harrison. After that I'll still have to talk to Oliver."

"Right." Luke nodded, his lips curving upwards. He was happy he would still have time to tell her.

Comfortable silence falls between them as they look back at the window. "Do you want me to be here with you when you talk to them?" Luke asked her.

Stella takes a deep breath before nodding. "Yeah, I'd like that." She turns to Luke. "There's something I want to tell you before I do this."

"Okay..." Luke said, looking at her with a small smile. "You know you can tell me anything, right?"

Stella nods. "I like you, Luke. Like a lot." Luke looked at her with wide eyes and he didn't have time to say anything because then she does something that surprises Luke. She kisses him. He didn't have time to kiss her back because when he processed what was happening Stella had already pulled away, looking at him with an embarrassed expression.

"I-I'm sorry. I..I shouldn't have done that." Stella apologized after seeing the look of shock on his face. She mentally scolds herself for doing such a stupid thing while shaking her head. "Just, please forget that ever happened."

"I don't think I can." Luke shook his head. He took a step towards her, cupping her face as he kissed her.

She closes her eyes as she kisses him back, holding onto his waist. She couldn't believe they were actually kissing. She couldn't believe this is her first kiss, but she was so happy that it was. The kiss was filled with so many emotions and it was one that she would never forget.

The two pull away breathless after a few seconds, both a smiling and blushing mess.

"That was..."

"Amazing." Luke finished Stella's sentence, looking at her with a bright smile.

Stella chuckles lightly, smiling back at him. "Yeah, amazing. And I'm guessing by that kiss that you like me too?"

"Of course." Luke nods. "I like you a lot." The smile on his face never left, it only grew as he spoke. "You're my star, Stella. You brighten up my world."

Stella blushes at hearing that, looking down in hopes that would hide her blush, but after hearing Luke laugh a bit, she knew that wasn't working. "Don't hide when you blush. You look cute when you're blushing." Luke told her, gently rubbing his thumb against her pink tinted cheek.

Stella looks at him with a smile. The two stare at each other while smiling for a few more seconds, acting as if they were the only people in the world and nothing else mattered. Stella clears her throat awkwardly, breaking the stare as she takes her arms from around his neck.

Luke takes his hands off her face, taking a step back. He puts his hands in his pockets, smiling at her nervously. "You should probably confront your friends."

Stella nods, turning to the window while the smile never left her face. "Yeah...Yeah, you're right."

A/N yay 'cause luke & stella finally confessed their feelings!
