The crew was going over the plan. Kanan was finally ready to free his Padawan from Maul. To be with him again, back in his arms. "Ok, everyone got it?" Hera asked. Everyone nodded. Kanan cracked his knuckles. "Little horn, shit fuckface will-"

"KANAN!" Hera shouted. "Language!"

"Sorry, Hera." He said, with Sabine staring at him weird. "Remind me when Ezra is captured or missing, put duck-tape on Kanan." Zeb nodded.

''That or glue his mouth shut for good." Zeb grinned.

   Kanan face palm himself. Shoot me now, Force. He looked back up to hear a very confused Hera. "Sabine, you do have a tracker on him?"

  "When Ezra was having those weird visions, Kanan told me to place one on him, in case Ezra left the base. Didn't really know Kanan was such an overprotective father to Ezra. But... Good thing we did." She smiled. Kanan huffed, shoving that thought aside.

   "Ok-Ok, can we at least get ready to go?" Kanan said trying to change the subject quickly. As impatient as he was, he wanted Ezra home safe. Kanan couldn't bare the thought of losing what was very close to him. And that was his Padawan.

  Kanan had an image flash in his head. Ezra. The sight of seeing his Padawan, Kanan used the Force to see this wonderful image. Ezra's warm, cheerful smile. His crystal bright blue eyes. The fact of how Ezra shown so much care towards Kanan and the Crew. Kanan felt as if his darkest time and past was replaced with a kid who just gave hope out to others around the Galaxy.

   Kanan only thought he was the only Jedi, but he wasn't. Ezra, who was near to being a Jedi. Ashoka...who is now gone. All hope now, seemed a bit lost and dark. "Kanan? Kanan?" Zeb nudge Kanan's side.

 "Feeling alright?" He asked worried. Kanan nodded and put his mask on. "Let's get our family member back." Was all he said, and went onboard the Ghost without another word.

  By the time they arrived, Kanan already felt Ezra's bond but...it was off. Kanan started to panic and fear the worst. The bond, was slipping! Kanan shook his head rapidly. "No. Ezra." He whispered. Kanan's heart began the hurt in pain. The moment the bond breaks, the moment he'll lost himself. Ezra, I'm here. We're here. He tried to send a message to him.

  The Ghost landed and Kanan was the first to jump up. Hera had a growl in her voice. "I think I see Maul." Kanan looked where she was looking at. It was Maul! Kanan ran out the ship, stomping towards Maul. Zeb and Sabine followed behind him. They knew what was gonna happen.

    Maul smiled. "Ah, Kanan. Nice to see-" Kanan punched him side the face. "Where's my Padawan, you bastard!" Sabine pulled Kanan back.

"Kanan!"

   "Where is he?! I'm not playing your games!" Kanan growled. Maul stood up and laugh.

"Didn't know you missed your child, deeply. Kanan." He smirked. "My apprentice is-"

 "He's not your apprentice!" Kanan hissed. Maul only raised his head up. "Yes...he is. I can prove it."

   Kanan didn't bother to listen to Maul. Sabine lossen her grip on him. Kanan seemed calmed, but not fully. But, his heart raced more, as a voice spoke out...

"Hello..."

Kanan's heart stopped.

"Old Master."  

     Ezra was standing in front of Kanan. Kanan's heart stopped. "Ezra...no!" He cried. Kanan couldn't speak, he was heart broken. He looked at Maul. He ignited his lightsaber and pointed at Maul.

    "What did you do to him?! Answer damnit!" Kanan moved the blade closer to his chest. Maul didn't hesitate, he only laughed. "Oh Kanan. He knows, and you know what happened."

    Ezra hissed. "You! Kanan Jarrus. Or should I say Caleb Dume, have abandon me. Your pathetic Crew as well!" Kanan froze still.

   How does he know my real name?!?

   Ezra laughed and ignited his blade. It was red, bloody red. Kanan looked back at Maul. "This...this is your final stand!" Kanan stabbed Maul straight into the chest. Maul coughed out blood, falling to the ground...dead.

    "Thats what you get..you son of a bitch Cockroach killer!" Ezra cried with sadness.

    "No!"

  Kanan looks up.

    "I'll kill you!" Ezra swung his blade at Kanan who blocked the hit. Kanan knew this wasn't him. The real him wouldn't attack him.

    Kanan force push Ezra back. Ezra stopped with his boots and stared coldly at the Jedi. "Ezra! I'm not losing you!" Kanan called out. Ezra only jump attacked Kanan. Kanan's lightsaber was slung away from him.

    Kanan force push Ezra away agian, only for Ezra to lose his lightsaber. Ezra growled and tackled Kanan. Ezra punched Kanan's side. "You won't win, Jedi!" He laughed.

    Kanan grunted, Sabine tried to pull Ezra off of Kanan but. Ezra shoved her back. "Ezra! It's us!" She called out.

    Kanan pushed Ezra off him, and hold Ezra down by hugging him. "It's me Ezzy! Listen to me!" Kanan hugged him close. Ezra only punched and kicked Kanan to break free.

     "Never! My family left me!"

    "Ezra! Listen to me! Maul tricked you. He wanted you to join his side. We love you Ezra, we all do. We want you home with us!"

    Ezra looked at Kanan. "Please son, come home my child." Ezra loosen his grip on Kanan. His eyes turn from yellow orange to his blue eyes.

   "Kanan....." He whispers. Ezra closed his eyes. Kanan realized he passed out. He hugged his Padawan close to him, not letting go.

    "It's ok, little one. Your home, your safe."
