**Request for _saphirerose_ and its about the real life cast, which was totally new and out of my comfort zone and took a ton of research lol. Also, I know you requested for everyone to be in this one, but I was having a hard time fitting them all in, so I kind of featured a few of the msot important ones for the plot, I hope that's okay. Featuring an OC, I named her Katy, so she's made up. Weird sidebar - in high school I used to do work as an extra and a body double in shows and movies, so I knew a lot about what things were called on set and had kind of blocked that from my memory so then when I started pulling random knowledge out of the recesses of my mind, I got pretty excited. Anyways. Hope this is what Saphirerose was looking for, and enjoy!**

Katy bunched the letter in her hand, tightening her fist around it until it was balled up and unreadable. The young woman threw it into the trashcan by the door.

Every since she and Chris had met while filming on of the Avenger's movies, she had been getting a tidal wave of angry, threatening, mean-spirited letters. It wasn't a big deal, everyone one in show business got hate mail at some point in their lives, but it still hurt. Things were even worse on social media. Comments and private messages flooded Katy's account whenever she posted a picture with Chris.

"Hey," a familiar voice said from the doorway. "Whatcha up to?"

Katy jumped and hid the balled up letter behind her back. "Hey, babe."

"What were you holding?" Chris had been around long enough to have his suspicions.

"Nothing." Katy dropped the note into the trash, making sure if fell down under the other trash in the bin.

Chris took a deep breath. He knew that things had been rough for Katy. When Tom had suggested the studio pull her in for a role as one of the more prominent supporting characters, the entire cast had been worried about it. They knew how difficult it could be to become someone in the public eye. What's more, as Tom Hiddleston's sister, she was convinced she knew exactly what she was walking into and refused to take any help dealing with fan mail or running her social media pages.

And... If Chris was being honest, she'd been looking more tired lately. Tired, worn out, and thin. Really thin. More thin than usual. He'd asked Scarlet to talk to her about it, but they'd decided in the end that if anyone would talk to her, it would be either Zendaya or Letita, seeing as they were closer to Katy's age and had grown quite close to one another.

"Okay," the man said, letting the subject go for now. "Wanna come out to the cast party? Everyone's been asking about you."

Katy smiled, her eyes lighting up a bit. It was no secret that the cast from the movies were close, but to Katy, they were like family. Now that she and Chris had been dating for nearly a year, the cast was even closer, as they all joked about the budding relationship and couple.

The cast party was in full swing. Everyone was excited for the upcoming wrap on set, which would be tomorrow when they finished a big finale scene.

"Hey!"

"Katy!"

"Come try this fruit platter!"

Katy waved at everyone. She still felt out of place sometimes, especially when it all hit her like this. She was an actress. Working with some of the best actors in the world. She was literally dating Captain America.

Scarlet watched as Chris reengaged in an animated conversation with the other Chris's, leaving Katy at the buffet table. She watched as Katy picked up a piece of cheese, take a bite, then quickly throw the rest out. Katy made a move to get something else, but then pulled her hand back and walked towards some of the younger actors.

Scarlet followed.

"Hey, could I borrow Katy for a minute?"

Katy followed Scarlet over to a quieter corner and sat on a pair of lighting boxes. The older actress thought of her next words carefully, trying to breach the testy subject as carefully as possible. "Katy, I want you to know that in this business, we all go through the same shit at the beginning. There are thousands of people who want you to be more, or who hate you simply because you're doing these movies with us. When I first started, I got so much hate mail, I almost quit."

Katy was listening with a calm expression painted across her face, but internally, she was freaking out. She didn't want Scarlet to know. If Scarlet knew, everyone knew, and then Katy was just some young, stupid girl who couldn't take care of herself.

"-And that's why I need to ask you. Are you getting hate mail, and if so, is it impacting you especially bad?"

In hindsight, Scarlet should have work-shopped that a little better so it didn't sound like Katy was the problem.

"I'm fine," Katy said quickly. "Really. Thanks for the concern, though. I- uh- I think that I'm gonna go back to my trailer and lay down, I'm not- not- yeah."

Katy got up quickly, walked over to give Chris a quick peck on the cheek, then went to her trailer to lay down.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Katy walked on set, feeling a lot better in the morning. Today was her last day on set, and then she'd have time to spend with Chris, get off social media, and hopefully avoid some of the hate. She'd skipped breakfast, partially because she hadn't been eating breakfast most days, partially because her stomach was upset from skipping dinner last night, too.
"Sound... Lighting, please. Can we get a back on A-4? Better. Sound... Check. Rolling."
The cameras started and everyone began to do the scene, which had been carefully rehearsed for weeks now. It was the big end.
Katy swayed a little under the hot lights. It took a lot of bulbs to recreate sunlight. She closed her eyes and tried not to puke. Why is it so hot? Katy took in short breaths. Why is it-
"Katy!"
Everyone looked over when Chris yelled Katy's name, gasping and running over when they saw she had collapsed.
"She fainted!" Chris yelled. "Can we get the set medics over here?"
Being an action movie, there was always a medic team on set just in case a stunt went bad or something. The medics jogged over, first aid bags in their hands. They quickly got to work checking Katy's vitals and carrying her off set on a stretcher. Shooting was postponed to tomorrow. The entire cast went to wait for news on Katy.
"I should have said something last night," Scarlet said quietly, scolding herself.
Chris shook his head. "I've known for a while something was wrong. This is... This is my fault."
Everyone waited patiently, albeit worried out of their minds. It was hard to see someone you love so much like everyone loved Katy get hurt.
"She's awake now," one of the medics said, poking their head through the door and into the green room. "We're getting her some water and food. She was pretty under weight."
Everyone seemed to sag, knowing already what that meant. It was more common than people thought for actors and actresses to struggle with eating and working out, especially when they were working on something like Marvel movies where everyone was either a sexy, thin woman or a buff, tall man, even when both of those things were kind of impossible.
"Katy?" Chris was the first to go in.
Katy was propped up on the couch, her hands wringing one another. "Hey."
"Katy, we need to talk about this. What's going on?"
Katy spilled her guts, about the hate mail, the comments, everything. She explained how she felt that maybe, everyone was right, she wasn't good enough for Chris, for Marvel, for anything. How she was trying to compete with the other girls and couldn't keep up with the workouts, so she was cutting back on her meals.
"Oh, babe. I'm so sorry, babe." Chris pulled Katy into a hug, kissing her forehead as he did so. "You're too perfect to try and change. You're the most beautiful woman on set, and I'm not the only one who loves you so hard."
Katy sniffled. "Yeah?"
"Yeah." Chris called for the rest of the cast to come in and see Katy, and just like that, everyone came streaming in, all of them clamoring to tell Katy how special and loved she was, making Katy smile wider and wider as the compliments kept coming.
"Thank you," Katy said, tears pooling in her eyes. "Thank you guys so much, I love you all."
The case all smiled at one another and at Katy. "Welcome to the family, Katy!!"
