**Request for tessalucy where Peter, the 13 year old biological son of Tony Stark, accompanies his dad on a trip to the Barton farm. When secret relationships are revealed, all hell breaks loose. Turns out, Clint Barton couldn't care less who his daughter dates, but Tony Stark is a protective father through and through. This one was so much fun and so sweet to write, I honestly loved it!! Thanks for the request!!**

"Do I have to go?" Peter whinned, stuffing his homework into a backpack and trudging after his father. They were leaving for a "work thing" and this was Peter's last-ditch effort to not go. He hated "work things". They were almost always meetings that dragged on too long, press conferences that were too loud and bright, or conferences with that angry man in the eye patch.

"I think you'll like this one, Pete," Tony said, putting some paperwork into a folder and sliding it neatly into his briefcase. "I have to go out to see Clint and drop off some paperwork. I thought you could get a tour of the farm, maybe touch a goat or something, I don't know."

Peter's cheeks were dusted pink as he thought of the farm. Lila was always talking about the farm, how she liked the little apple orchard by the backdoor, how she spent afternoons in the loft of the barn, reading to the animals.

"Oh," Peter said, trying to keep his somewhat surly attitude so his father wouldn't catch on. "I suppose that could be okay."

Tony chuckled. "Thought so."

The two were finally ready to go, so they headed down to the garage where Happy was waiting with the car. It was a quick drive to the airport, and then a short flight, only 2 hours, to the farm. Peter napped most of the drive to the airport, but worked on homework on the flight. If he could just get it all done now, he'd have nothing to do while at the farm, and he could spend the whole time with Lila.

"Peter," Tony interrupted his son just as he was finishing his math homework. "When we get to the farm, I don't want you running off too far. You're welcome to get a general tour and whatever and play, but I want you within earshot of the farm house. I don't want to have to come looking for you."

Peter nodded. That was how his father was: protective, worried, and prone to keeping Peter on a short leash. That's part of why Peter and Lila were keeping their relationship secret, actually. Whenever she would come to New York with her father, she and Peter would go up to Peter's room and talk and talk and talk. And then she went back to the farm, Peter and her would text and call and video chat every chance they could, which wasn't often because of Tony's bad habit of walking into Peter's room without knocking.

"I'll stay close," Peter muttered, hoping the barn was close enough to the house that he and Lila could hang out there, and talk in private, without disobeying Tony outright.

The rest of the plane ride went quickly enough. Peter finished his homework, and now being done and freed from it, he left his bag on the plane. It was a Stark plane anyways, so it wasn't like anyone else was going to be getting on.

Clint was waiting for the two when they got off the plane. Since the farm was in a secure, classified location, Clint was going to drive them in.

"How was the flight?" Clint asked, getting in the car.

"Pretty good," Tony said with a shrug, setting his briefcase in the car before climbing into the passenger seat. "Peter was working on homework the entire time."

Clint laughed, causing Peter to blush a little from the backseat. "At least he's done now. You and Lila can go run around the orchard and pick apples." Seeing Tony's face, Clint was quick to add "It's close to the house" and that made Tony relax.

Peter smiled, his reflection in the rear-view mirror catching Clint's eye. There was something in that smile...

The trip to the farm was long. As they passed through the little town where the airport was, the roads became rougher, and there was less and less to look at. A couple trees. A herd of cows here and there. Peter didn't even remember falling asleep, but it made sense that he did at some point. What was there to keep him awake on such a boring trip?

The farm came into view, and with it, a flash of blonde hair running next to the car. Lila, who had found out Peter was coming just that morning, was racing her dad up the driveway, excited to see her boyfriend.

"Peter," Tony said, reaching back and gently shaking the boy. "We're here."

Peter jolted, his mind jumping to one word: Lila.

The teen scrambled from the car, throwing a wave at Lila, but holding back a hug. He really wanted to hug her. Really bad. Why couldn't his dad and Clint go inside already? Why were they walking to the house so slowly?

Tony was halfway through a sentence about the last mission and paperwork to be done and-

"Peter," he called over his shoulder as he and Clint went inside the house. "Remember. Don't go too far."

Peter was quick to assure his dad that he and Lila would stay close, and Tony disappeared into the house, the door shutting firmly behind him. As soon as it did, Peter turned, only to have the whole force of Lila crash into him, and they both fell backwards, giggling.

Peter wrapped his arms around the girl, holding her close. "I missed you!"

"I missed you, too," Lila admitted, a little smirk on her face. "Your dad kinda sucks."

Peter laughed really hard at that, barely catching his breath between fits of laughter. Lila pushed herself up and off the ground, offering a hand to Peter and yanking him up with her.

"Come on," she said, still holding his hand and dragging him towards a grassy field. "I want to show you the barn, and we can go pick apples like one of those silly romance movies!"

Peter followed along like a puppy, excitedly looking at all the things Lila pointed out and smiling like a fool when she kissed the chicken they saw on the head because she is so cute and laughing at every joke.

"And over here," Lila said, rounding the corner of the house and pointing to where a small grove of trees were. "Is the apple orchard."

She took off after that, running into the orchard with a laugh as Peter ran after her. They played hide and seek, tagging each other and laughing their heads off. Finally, they both got tired, and laid in the grass under one of the biggest trees, an apple in Lila's hand as she bit away at it.

"Tell me more about the city," she said suddenly. "I'm so used to being here."

Peter shrugged. "There's not nearly this much grass. I can walk pretty much anywhere, though. Dad doesn't let me go out alone, but my Aunt Natasha sometimes takes me to get ice cream or take out around the city. There's a lot of people. It's kinda gloomy."

Lila sighed. "It sounds different."

"It is."

The two were quiet for a moment before Lila turned herself over and propped herself up on elbows to get a better look at Peter. "You ever think about living in the country?"

"Only if it's with you," he joked, giving her a sly smile.

There was a split-second where Lila's eyes met Peter's, and then, lips met lips. As far as first kisses go, this one was perfect. Lila, who was far more pushy than Peter, was holding herself close to the boy, pressing lips down to his. Peter, ever the shy one, was lit up in a red blush.

"A-hem." The two broke apart, looking up and a very red-faced Tony Stark and a very nonchalant looking Clint Barton.

"What is going on here, young man?" Tony demanded, looking down at his son. "You are too young to be kissing!"

Clint laughed at that. "And when was your first kiss, Tones?"

The billionaire looked shocked for a moment, then embarrassed. "I- It- I was- I'm not Peter!"

Clint laughed again. "You can say that again. You shouldn't be this upset, they are teenagers. I'm just curious how long this has gone one."

Lila shrugged up at her dad. "A year or so."

"A year or- Peter!" Tony shouted, looking down at his son. "You never told me! You-"

"Tony," Clint said, putting a hand on the man's shoulder as Peter's eyes filled with tears. "Think about this. He didn't tell you because you act like he's a doll, and you just ruined his first kiss. Give the kid a break. You know Lila, she's a good girl."

Tony took a breath, looking from Clint, to Lila, to Peter, who really did look terrified.

"I'm sorry, Pete. I shouldn't have snapped, and I shouldn't treat you like a little kid. I'm," the man swallowed thickly. "Happy for you. We're going to leave in an hour, so why don't you and Lila spend some more time together before we do. I'll be inside."

Then, Tony did the unthinkable, and left the two teens and Clint standing there while he marched back up to the farmhouse.

"Could have been worse." CLint shrugged, then followed his friend up to the house.

Peter turned to Lila, who was sitting in the grass comfortably, like none of that had just happened.

"So," he started. "Are we going to try that kissing thing again, or-"

Lila nearly knocked him backwards with how fast she was on his lips again.
