Rose twitched her ears in surprise and said nothing.
Did she really see me and Oak kiss each other? She thought. Rose shook her head. She couldn't have possibly seen, I didn't see anybody watching...
"N...no." She lied.
Petunia raised one non-existent eyebrow.
"Really?" She asked, narrowing her eyes. Rose nodded, sweating slightly. Petunia pricked her ears and smiled.
"Well, great!" She exclaimed, running to catch up with the others. Rose sighed in relief and caught up with the others.
That, was close. She thought. After a little bit of journeying they came to the top of the volcano, it was a dead end. The dragon was gone.
"Where is Forest!?" Bramble exclaimed. "She should be here! I smell her!" Koi sniffed around a bit himself and approached the dead end. He pointed at it.
"She is there." He rumbled.
"How!?" Bramble exclaimed in disbelief. "It ends there!" Koi shook his head.
"Not quite." He said. "There has to be a way behind here." Koi pushed against the wall, nothing happened. He then punched it and the wall crumbled apart, revealing Forest trapped inside of a cage with all kinds of evil spirits around her. A black fox with blue eyes, white chest fur and blue wings turned around and widened his eyes when he saw them.
"Uh, boss we have company." He said. A gray and black wolf with red eyes and purple wings turned around and snarled.
"What? How did you get behind the wall!? You couldn't have known that we were here!" The gray and black wolf growled.
"It was obvious that she was here, her scent was everywhere." Koi rumbled. The gray and black wolf slapped the black fox.
"Tree! You should have covered up the scent!" He growled.
"I'm sorry boss! But you didn't tell me to!" The black fox (Tree) whimpered.
"Well.... I... um....uh." The gray and black wolf stuttered.
"Magma!" A black fox with red eyes, a red spiked collar and red wings snapped. "Focus! We have intruders!" The gray and black wolf (Magma) shook his head.
"Of course Shade." Magma said. The other black fox (Shade) nodded. All of the evil spirits summoned their spears and charged at the rescue team. Koi grappled with Magma. Bramble grappled with Tree. Rose grappled with Shade. Oak grappled with a gray and white cat with green eyes and green wings and so on. Koi held onto Magma's spear just as the wolf was about to stab him. Magma growled in frustration and pushed harder, this knocked Koi over. He used this to his advantage and stabbed the Lizolf, instantly he began to change into an evil spirit. Tree grinned and stabbed Bramble, the gray and white cat stabbed Oak and so on. All of them transformed into evil spirits.
Oh no. Rose thought as she began to loose control. Not this again. She was back in her mind. Shadow Rose was there.
