September 1, 2012... (Three years later)

Teddy arrived at kings cross station with his godfather, James, Albus and Lily. It was the beginning of his third year.
Nobody seemed to notice them at first, which was nice, but as they traversed the station to get to the magical barrier between platforms nine and ten, Teddy didn't fail to notice quite a few heads turn their way. Mutters followed them to platform 9 3/4.
"Harry Potter. Did you see?!"
"I saw Harry Potter."
"He looks even better in person!"
"Wow."
Teddy rolled his eyes. They couldn't seem to do anything without the notice of the public. Teddy pushed the trolley with his trunk and owl through the barrier quickly, eager to get on the train and moving. Thankfully, they were slightly late today, and just as the others got through the barrier, the train whistled. All that were left on the platform were parents and younger siblings. He hastily kissed Ginny goodbye, hugged Harry, and waved to the others, and then he ran towards the train. He only just managed to haul his trunk and owl up onto the train before it began to move off with a hiss. The engine chugged, and more steam continued to pour out of the chimney. They were off!
He dragged his trunk along, trying to find Victoire and his friends. He hadn't gone past too many compartments before he did. The blonde Ravenclaw girl got up when she saw Teddy and helped him with his heavy trunk. They got it loaded up into the luggage rack without too much trouble. He also placed his eagle owl up there.
"How were your holidays?" Asked his friend Ferdenand.
"Yeah not too bad."
"I saw the daily prophet article about you playing quidditch." Ferdenand said.
"Oh gimme a break." Teddy grumbled, putting his hand to his head. "It was nothing. I was just having some fun with James, and some buzzard photographer happened to spot us. That article made out like we were on the national team or something." He complained. "Not to mention the fact that they referred to James as 'James Potter' and to me as his 'god brother'... I mean- is that even the correct term?" He exclaimed.
"Hey, calm down Ted." Victoire put a hand on his shoulder. He frowned slightly, and glanced her way.
"I know how it frustrates you, but i'm sure the hype will wear off eventually." She nodded, trying to be reassuring.

"But when Vic? It's been more then fifteen years since he defeated Voldemort, and yet he's still got nosy douchebags sticking their faces over his back fence!" He said, "no. You'll see. i'm never gonna escape it. It'll be 'Harry Potter's godson graduates Hogwarts' 'Harry Potter's godson gets job as healer' 'Harry Potter's godson gets married'..." He trailed off. Victoire frowned to herself and slumped back in her seat.
"Unless-" Teddy sat up dead straight. "-unless i do something about it!" He smiled suddenly.
"Like what?" Ferdenand responded.
"What if i made something legendary- a miracle. Like... Some kind of mirror that stops people aging, or a fountain of eternal life? Or a potion that cures all ailments!" He stood up. "Maybe i can get away from the whole Harry Potter thing. I could... Have my own spotlight. If i made something like that, i'd be as well known as Nicholas Flamel, or Dumbledore... Or Harry Potter!" He grinned madly.
"And how do you plan on creating something that powerful? You're thirteen years old, and not to beat up on our house or anything, but Hufflepuffs aren't exactly known for being prestigious wizards." Ferdenand raises his eyebrows and slumped back in his seat.
"Okay... But you're forgetting something." Teddy spoke.
"Yeah, what?" Ferdenand responded,
"Well my mother and father were both great at what they did, and as much as being Harry Potter's godson can be aggravating, truth is that's what i am. And i grew up around the golden trio. I know what i'm doing with a wand." He nodded. Victoire shook her head.
"It's gonna be harder than that, Teddy."
"I know it'll be hard, but c'mon!" He exclaimed. "I mean last year we figured out animagus. I can do this!"
"Hey, keep your voice down!" Ferdenand frowned. Victoire piped up again
"Look, I'm glad you have that sort of confidence in your abilities, and i believe in you too. I do. But is all of this really gonna satisfy you?" She looked straight into his eyes. "Is that really the answer?" "Because i think it would be better for you to accept your place as his godson. It's not something you can help, and trying to outdo him is going to be a long, arduous process which does not guarantee that people will see you as having done it." She explained.
"I can't just accept it, Vic. Don't you understand?" He began to become frustrated. "I need this. And i can do it, too." Teddy was exasperated now.
The trolley lady rattled by, and stuck her head in to ask if they wanted to buy something.
"Anything from the trolley?" She questioned. Teddy got up.
"I'll have three sugar quills and some every flavour beans." She handed over the sweets, and he handed over the currency, and then he sat back down. "Here you go guys." He handed out the sugar quills just as the trolley lady trundled away.
