The scene shifts to the crowds outside of the factory gates. The children are all there,

Princess with wolf Diane and she brought her only friends: children little Abby mallard runt fish and of course her cousin foxy, Veruca and Mike with their fathers, Augustus and Violet with their mothers.

"Daddy, I want to go in!"

"It's 9:59, sweetheart!"

"Make time go faster!"

"Do you think Mr. Wonka will recognize you wolf?" Princess asked him.

"Hard to say, it's been years. I bet he doesn't remember what I look like it has been years since we seen each other" wolf says.

"I'm so excited to finally meet your friend I heard about" Diane says.

Then princess whispered to chicken little, "I'm so glad you guys could come with me"

"Sure I mean I think it's best you stay with true friends then these greedy kids" chicken little says.

Augustus is wolfing down a candy bar. Veruca is chewing gum.

"Eyes on the prize, Violet, eyes on the prize"

The gates open. Wonka's amplified voice is heard over the loudspeakers, reminiscent of The Wizard of Oz.

"Please enter!"

The guests come through the gates, wolf stayed behind because he was afraid, he hasn't seen wonka in years what if he doesn't remember him.

Princess noticed how nervous he was so she holds his hand.

He looks down to see her face and he takes a deep breath and holds on tight to her hand and they walk in with the others.

"Come forward!" They do.

"Close the gates!" The gate slams shut.

"Dear visitors, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to my humble factory. Who am I? Well..."

The heavy metal doors disappear, and a curtain rises behind them, revealing a set of mechanical puppets, much like It's A Small World," who perform a robotic musical number.

A throne appears, with no one sitting in it. Sparklers go off, and the robots, under the heat of the sparks, malfunction and run down. They are retracted. Wonka enters, giggling and clapping.

"Wasn't that magnificent? I was getting a little worried it was sort of dodgy in the middle part, but then, that finale! Wow!"

"Who are you?"

When wolf finally sees him for the first time he smiled he was in shocked to see how much he changed, he hasn't seen him in years.

"He's Willy Wonka!" He gasped.

There is a long, awkward pause as Wonka and the guests survey each other.

Wonka breaks the silence with a statement that, after years of seclusion, he must still think is hip.

"Good morning, starshine, the earth says hello!" He pulls out cue cards. "Dear guests, greetings! Welcome to the factory! I shake you warmly by the hand. My name is Willy Wonka."

"Then shouldn't you be up there?" Veruca says as she points to the throne.

"Well, I couldn't very well watch the show from up there, now, could I, little girl?"

"Wonka, I don't know if you remember but it's me...wolf"

Wonka passed when he heard wolf he turned and takes off his glasses, he is surprised to see his friend after so many years.

Willy smiled as he approached wolf, "it is you? Isn't it old friend" Willy cups wolf's face and smiled.

"Wow, you're not a puppy aren't you? You're a wolf now"

Then the two of them hugged, "so good to see you again old friend how you been" Willy says.

"I been fine, oh Willy I want you to meet my wife Diane" he introduces Diane.

"Hi it is so nice to meet you Mr Wonka, I heard so much about you" she shook his hand.

"Lovely to meet you my dear, what a fox wolf, didn't think you had a type, alright wonderful! Welcome back! Let's get a move on, kids! And I'm looking forward to meeting your daughter wolf" They head into the factory.

"Don't you want to know all our names?" Augustus says.

"Can't imagine how it would matter. Come quickly, there's far too much to see"

The doors shut behind them. The scene shifts to the inside hall.

"Just drop your coats anywhere"

"Mr. Wonka, it sure is toasty in here"

"What? Oh, yes, I have to keep it warm in here because my workers are used to an extremely hot climate. They just can't stand the cold"

"Who are the workers?" Princess asked.

"All in good time. Now!"

They start walking. Violet hugs Mr. Wonka. He gasps with surprise and disgust at being touched.

"Mr. Wonka, I'm Violet Beauregarde" She continues chewing on his gum.

"I don't care"

"Well, you should care, because I'm the girl who's going to win the special prize at the end"

"Well, you do seem confident, and confidence is key"
Then Veruca steps in Wonka's way.

"I'm Veruca Salt"

"Funny. I always thought a veruca was a type of wart that got on the bottom of your foot. Haha..." Augustus, devouring his candy, steps in Wonka's way.

"I am Augustus Gloop. I love your chocolate"

"I can see that. So do I! I never expected we'd have so much in common" He turns around to look at Mike.

"You... you're Mike Teevee. You're the little devil who cracked the system!"

Then He looks behind Mike was princess who was nervous by him, she pushed Mike to the side using his cane.

"And you- you're just lucky to be here, aren't you. You must be princess I heard so much about" Willy bends down to look at her.

"Oh wolf she's-well she's-"

"Adopted yeah she is"

"I was gonna say a cat, but I was wondering why she didn't look anything like you, she's marvelous wolf, welcome to my factory princess I know you will love it I had this place ready for you and this tour is gonna be extra special for you"

The other four kids were ticked off and jealous when wonka kisses princess hand, how she was getting the special treatment and attention.

"And the rest of you must be their pa-" Wonka seems to choke on the word "parents." He can't get it out, no matter how hard he tries.

"Parents"

"Yeah. Moms and dads" The word "dads" puts Wonka into a regressive state. He spaces out.

"Dad... papa..." He snaps out of it when violet gets upset.

"Hey that's not fair how come she gets to bring two parents and some friends over"

Then veruca gets upset too, "it's not fair she gets to be treated special"

"It's fair because I'm friends with her dad Okay, then. Let's move along!" They walk.

Then violet and veruca gets in front of princesss scaring her.

"Hey!" Violet shouts.

"Ah!"

"Just because your dad knows me wonka that doesn't mean you're special you're just another ordinary kid and you and your family don't belong here, if you think you're gonna win that prize step back, because I'm gonna win because I'm a winner so stay out of my way"

"Me too" veruca says.

As they threaten princess foxy growls in their face causing them to back down.

"Back off ok, you stay away from my cousin"

After the two run, foxy takes princess hand, "don't worry princess they are just jealous that's all you stick with me and I'll be sure they won't hurt you"

"Would you like some chocolate?"

"Sure"

"Then you should have brought some" He laughs and finishes off the candy bar.

"Let's be friends"

"Best friends"

They link arms, but neither are smiling. This is the competition, after all. They reach a tiny door.

"An important room, this. It is a chocolate factory, after all"

"Then why is the door so small?"

"To keep all the great big chocolatey flavor inside. Haha..."

He bends down, unlocks the door, then opens the entire wall, revealing his chocolate room. They enter. Augustus is entranced.
