[Wakiya]

This was all too disturbing to watch, there was something definitely off about that woman.

I don't know why, but I get the feeling something bad is about to happen.

[Himari drove up to Lui's old apartment, his childhood home, and shut the car. She locked the car doors before Lui had the chance to step foot out and heard her say, "Now, we're just going to get her gift and then you'll be on your way. No touching or grabbing anything else, you don't deserve it for murdering your mother."

Lui growled lightly.

She unlocked the car door and said, "My grandson is waiting inside, he's just as annoying and a nuisance as you are."

They got off and immediately went over to the front door. Lui braced himself as he was met with his old home. Even though he couldn't remember anything about the place, he felt as if he's been there before.

"Well? What are you standing around for?" Himari shoved a box into his chest and crossed her arms, waiting for him to open it.

Lui opened the box and gasped. He dropped the box and held his new bey, noticing it resembled a dragon. It felt cool and slightly heavy in his arm, and for a split second, Lui smiled.

Next thing he knew, Lui was on the ground, clutching his red cheek after being slapped by the old woman.

She stood before him and glared with utter hate. Himari kicked him in the ribs as Lui winced in pain. She yelled, "YOU KILLED HER! YOU LITTLE SHIT, YOUR MOTHER WAS LIKE A DAUGHTER TO ME, SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE YOU WANTED A PICTURE OF A FUCKING SHARK!"

"Leave me alone, old hag! I know what I did, get away from me!" Lui screamed, arms covering his head as he was on the verge of tears.]

I covered my arm. "How the hell does that woman have such energy at her age?" Rantaro snickered. "Maybe she's a super granny."

Valt chuckled along as I huffed. "That doesn't even make sense to begin with in the first place!"

[Lui hated himself for feeling weak, but a part of him didn't want to attack her, it was as if a part of his sanity held on and cooled his anger. Himari managed to kick Lui in the face, causing blood to spill from his nose. Just as she was about to kick him again, Lui got fed up and yelled, "Screw this!"

But when he opened his eyes, he was met with a peculiar sight and a loud smacking sound.

Himari was on the ground unconscious as a boy with green hair stood before her. He growled and said, "You can beat me up but beating others is just plain wrong, old hag."

Lui's eyes widened as the boy offered him a hand to stand up, he immediately accepted it.]

Valt clasped his hands over his mouth and asked, "I know him! He's a member of rideout!"

[The boy helped Lui stand up and lead him to the living room couch as he went and retrieved a first aid kit. He came back and chuckled. "Sorry about that, that old hag of a grandma has always had an abusive nature."

He wiped Lui's bruises with disinfectant and placed cotton over it. "By the way, the name's Shinki, Shinki Mikuni."

Lui pondered before asking, "How do you know how to treat wounds?"

Shinki gave him a tissue for his nosebleed. "As I said, that old hag beats me too. She blamed me for my parents' death, but they were in a car crash that I wasn't even a part of."

"Oh," Lui said quietly. He remembered he was in his old home, and looked around. Shinki noticed this and said, "This is where you grew up didn't you?" He sat on the couch along side Lui and continued, "I know because I see pictures of when you were little all around here. Your mom must've loved you a lot."

Lui nodded and asked, "What are you doing in my house anyways?"

Shinki explained, "The old hag likes to come here and go around cursing Lui, which I assume is you, and crying for your mom. I tell you, that lady is crazy."

Lui laughed, a genuine one for once. He sighed and stood up. "Well I finally got my mom's gift."

"Oh, a bey right?" Shinki stated. "It looks cool too. Must be a powerful one."

"I bet it is." Lui's eyes trailed to a picture frame and saw a photo of a girl wearing a traditional japanese school outift. He read the label, which said, "Hidemi Shirosagi, 16 years old."

Lui felt a tear slip from his eye before he growled and wiped it away. Shinki smiled unevenly and said, "Your mom looks very pretty." He stood up and pointed upstairs. "Come on, want to take a look at some stuff real quick?"

"Fine," Lui replied, "but quickly, we have to do something about that old hag." Shinki gasped dramatically, "How dare you insult my grandmother!" They stared at each other before bursting into laughter and walking up stairs.]

I saw Daigo smile a tiny bit. He said, "It's weird seeing any other emotion besides anger on Lui's face." Ken nodded in agreement but Valt made a 'tsk' noise and pointed out, "You mean besides the urge to hunt down Shu?"

We all facepalmed as Shu chuckled.

[Lui entered a room covered in various shades of blue. Shinki stepped in the room and shielded his eyes, exclaiming, "Who the hell brought the sky in here?" Lui rolled his eyes and curiously explored the room. His eyes trailed to a white fluffy scarf on the bed, which he grabbed and held in his hand. He sighed happily and said, "I think I ought to return to Beigoma and start training with Lost Luinor."

Shinki nodded. They walked out of the apartment and closed the door, then called an ambulance to take care of Shinki's grandma. Lui stared at the sky for a bit and asked, "What will you be doing?"

"Oh, me?" Shinki grinned and flashed a thumbs up. "I'll be going to Beigoma soon, as well. One of my friends wanted to start a beyblade team, and well, I promised I would be his first member."

Lui nodded and clutched his bey. He said, "Well, then I guess I'll see you soon." Shinki nodded and waved as he walked away. He watched the green haired male walk off into the distance. As soon as he was out of sight, Lui put on the white scarf and began walking away.]

Rantaro pretended to wipe away a tear. "That was so emotional, oh my arceus." I snorted and rolled my eyes, "Oh please."

Sorry for the late update, I'm really sorrie :c the thing is I update when the chapter published gets at least a hundred views so I make sure people read it otherwise I'd be updating for nothing. It sounds kinda selfish cuz this book isn't even that good but yolo so I guess enjoy the crappy update and let me know if you want more chapters ^_^
