Author's notes: I have set up a list of my favorite music tracks and I have started using a random number generator to choose the song of the day today so I won't keep picking the same bands, my most obvious affront to this has to be the band Queen I love them to much and their songs relate with quite a few characters and their struggles. The song of the day today is "The Mantis' Hymn" from Metal Gear Solid this song is amazing at giving off the air of the paranormal and sums up the character Psycho Mantis perfectly he is a troubled man with powers like telekinesis, mind control, and lastly possible telepathy seeing how this hymn plays when Psycho Mantis is near and we never find out where it originates from, Psycho Mantis is probably the evilest of the entire foxhound group considering he views their current mission as a excuse to kill as many people as possible yet even this attitude could be dismissed as it is said that by delving into the mind of a serial killer part of the killers subconscious imprinted itself onto Psycho Mantis this leads to a lot of confusion on whether or not to pity him or not which is great coming from a storytelling perspective this is the beauty of Metal Gear Solid and should be experienced by all. Ruby went back to the room, running rather slowly as her burst of strength and speed took it's toll on her, when Ruby entered the room she was finally able to get a good look at that blue gem, her normal blue skin was tinged a sickly purple, bruises covered a large portion of her body, her light blue hair contrasted agianst her deep blue skin, she wore a blue dress that strangely complimented her that consisted of various shades of blue, the dress torn in a multitude of areas, but still remained mostly intact, Ruby lifted her to her chest surprised at how light she really was, Ruby didn't try talking to her thinking she was unconscious as she made her way out of the building, the blue gem made herself known placing her hand upon Ruby's chest, Ruby looked down and was greeted by a single blue looking pleadingly up at her, she tried to speak but now words came out, she passed out right after that "Don't worry, please don't worry." Ruby pleaded clutching her closer not unlike a mother and their child

2 days later
The house was gone they had set it on fire, all that remained was ashes, her home was gone all those years she spent within it's halls took precedent in her mind as memories flooded her with sadness, acknowledging her dead parents a single tear escaped her shut eyes "I didn't think, I had any tears left." Ruby said in a forlorn tone staring helplessly at fire, the blue gem remained unconscious in Ruby's arms, she began to stir drawing Ruby's attention "Don't worry, this is my problem." Ruby choked out as tears ran freely down her face after a short time, she interrupted those tears by holding the injured gem closer to her chest "I won't let anyone else hurt you." Ruby said sadly swearing to protect the injured gem who laid unconscious in her arm
