Guys, honestly, thanks for all the support lately. I really appreciate all your comments in the last part. I will try to respond to all of them soon. I'm not doing much better, but I feel like I will get better since I started therapy and medication.

3rd Person POV:

Travis' eyes opened up wide, as if he had just had a epiphany. He had awoken from a dream. The dream wasn't a nightmare, but looking back on it, Travis had a weird vibe from it. Beads of sweat dripped from his forehead, and he tried to place his finger on what exactly gave him such a weird feeling. Something about the dream sent a chill down his spine, making the hairs on his arms rise.

Her.

Something about that young angel creeped him out. It wasn't her wings, which were as black as night, but something else. In all ways, she looked harmless, and, well, an angel. Travis didn't know what he could've been scared of.

What did that dream mean though? Travis always thought that dreams had a meaning behind them. The whole dream almost felt familiar in an uncanny way.

Travis pushed it away.

"It's just a dream," he told himself.

Little did he know that it was a flashback.

Travis was growing paranoid. He still felt anxious even after waking up from the strange "dream". He thought he sensed a magical presence in the same room as him. Travis scrambled, sitting up as he looked around the room with his special vision.

There was nothing there.

He let out a sigh of relief, turning to Y/N, his lover, who was fast asleep beside him. Her H/C hair was stretched out across her pillow.

Then, before his eyes, he watched his girlfriend change in a flash.

There was a blue aura around her.

It was just for a split second. In Travis' special vision, he saw an extremely powerful magic energy inside of Y/N, but only for a fraction of a second. In a wink of an eye, Y/N was back to normal, with the normal yellow aura glowing around her to resemble "human" and "no magicks in blood".

Travis rubbed his eyes. He must've been imaging something. It was too ephemeral to be real. It was late at night, and his mind must've been playing tricks on him.

Right?

Travis stopped looking around the room in his special vision, shaking his head as he swung his legs over the side of the bed. He got off the bed, careful to not make the bed dip in risk of Y/N rolling over and waking up.

Travis needed to think. He needed to move around. His night had been so strange. There was no way that he was going to sleep tonight. His heart was already racing. Questions popped up inside of his head like popcorn. Thoughts arose every second, matching the pounding organ inside of his chest.

For a few silent moments, Travis paced back and forth in the dark room, in the ebony shadows. It wasn't enough though. "The Winged Demon" made him deeply scared for some reason. Perhaps she was inspired by an enemy in his real life. However, Travis did not realize that "The Winged Demon" was quite the opposite of his enemy. After all, he was sleeping in her bed.

Travis left the room. He crept through the house and slipped out the back door to get some fresh air in the midnight moonlight.

There was a zephyr, blowing the smell of blood and paint through the air.

Your POV:

I sat up straight in my bed, my whole body shaking. I was drenched in sweat, yet I was freezing cold. My breathing was labored, and my eyes were wide. It looked like I had just seen a ghost.

-And perhaps I had. At least, in a dream.

Just like that, my whole dream was gone from my memory. It had slipped away like a snake into the bushes. All I knew was that the dream was not a good one. It was a nightmare, and, whatever was in it, put me in fear. My breathing was still rapid, and my heart was still racing, even though the dream was over.

I turned to my side to see that Travis was gone. Where was he?

The moon was still out. Beams of dim moonlight shone through the window. The black silhouettes of trees in the distance danced on the star dotted sky. The wind howled loudly like a wolf, making the waves of grass in my front yard gently rock.

Perhaps I was still dreaming. I pinched my arm to make sure.

No. I was indeed awake.

The clock in my room, which hung on my wall, ticked loudly. It was a hollow sound, which broke the silence every second with a tick or tock. Soon, the sounds of cicadas and grasshoppers joined in harmony with the wind and clock. This was the chorus of night.

I squinted my eyes as they adjusted to the dim lighting, to see that it was 3 am according to my clock.

I assumed that I should probably go find Travis. His disappearance mystified me. I had no clue as to where he was. I got out of my bed, my feet meeting the soft carpet. The door was slightly opened, so I walked out the door, into the hallway. I tip toed across the floor so that I didn't scare myself with the creaks of the wooden floor.

Finally, I reached the kitchen, and noticed that there was a single black feather resting on the kitchen counter, and an eerie susurrous coming from behind me.
