After departing from Harad, Caledorn takes charge of the group. You can't help but notice that Samwise has been following the group the entire time, but you decide not to mention it to the others.
The road is long and rather boring, but you eventually arrive just outside the city of Dale. You notice scaffolding all along the walls, and Caledorn nods to it meaningfully.
"Dale was destroyed many years ago, and they're just now finishing repairs. Head on in, I have no doubt there will be much inspiration for your stories!"
As you step forward you notice that Samwise appears to walk right through the nearby wall, disappearing from your sight.

Your next challenge is to write a story set in The Realms of the Northmen. I will allow entries about any of the lands included in the Kingdom of Dale, which includes Laketown/Esgaroth, as well as the lands of the Woodsmen of Mirkwood. The Kingdom of Rhovanian is also allowed, but I will not accept entries about the Eotheod or the Rohirrim, as that will likely be a separate round. Note that this covers a pretty broad area, so if you have questions be sure to ask.

The same advice from the first round applies here as well. Make sure to write about characters that would logically appear in these lands. Since this round is based more off of a people group than a solitary location, I highly recommend writing about Northmen.
Entries will be due April 1st. No, I will not be making an April Fool's joke in relation to this deadline.
In this round, 5(FIVE) writers will be eliminated. If you do not submit by April 1st, you will be eliminated automatically.
In addition to the rules already put in place (found in the Rules chapter), there is an additional rule being added.
NEW RULE: Word count limit is 3000 words. I loved reading some of the longer entries, but I barely had time to read them all this round so I'd like to alleviate some of that pressure for myself this round, as selfish as that sounds XD.
