Okay, so a repair tool can fix it. I was able to find the location where it was (with some difficulty) and then fix it (also with difficulty.) Why was it difficult? Well, I scanned something called a Bleeder, and uh... They bite. Like leeches. Really hard. And suck your blood. And it's painful.

I scanned PRAWN Suit fragments and acquired a Seamoth depth module on the way out. I also typed every possible code into the captain's quarters until I got the answer: 2679. That was yet another difficulty.

I put the depth module in my Seamoth. Then I had to go back. But here's the thing: no roaring, no silhouettes, no noise. Just water ambience. I drove back with paranoia and caution, edging toward the hole I came through.

But there was nothing there.
