Serena

Well, we are officially lost. We've been wandering around forever with no sign of Trenton or his companion. We finally come to a clearing and put our stuff down.

"I wanna go check out that dump." I say, "Nick, Jordan, you guys stay here and set up a camp. Eric, Dawson, Kylie, and I will be back in an hour or so."

They agree and we set off. We walk for about twenty minutes and come to the edge of the forest. The ruins of the burnt dump were still smoking, but the area was all clear. We climb the fence and explore the area. I shine my flashlight into the crumbling building and go inside. I tiptoe toward the back of the building, when I trip over something hard. I quickly get up and shine my light on the thing. It was a body of a zombie. I scan the room and find two more bodies in the corner. That was a lovely sight. There wasn't anything else in the building so I left it. I look around outside for the others, but I can't find them.

"Kylie?! Eric?! Dawson?!" I yell. No reply. I run around the corner and face a horrifying sight. Eric and Dawson are trying to pull Kylie away from something in the shadows. I run to help them when I see what she's looking at. Slenderman. She pushed us away and starts to walk toward him. I step in front of her and attempt for the first time, to enter her thoughts. I get in and snap her out of it. Oh, does that make you sick. How Trenton manages that, I have no clue. We start to run back towards the fence, dodging burnt pieces of the building. We jump the fence and continue to sprint back toward the clearing. I turn, but unexpectedly find slender gone.

"That's impossible." I whisper.

"Where did he go?!" Kylie exclaimed.

"Something's wrong. Run"

We pound back to the clearing and something is definitely wrong. Nick’s back is turned to us and he is cradling something in his lap. I go up behind him and he turns to look at me. Tears are streaming down his cheeks. I gasp when I see what's in his arms. He's holding the body of Jordan, his now dead brother.
