In the cell, Armin asked Eren, "So Eren, what do you think was going on outside?"

"Who knows? I'm sure Commander Hange was trying to find any means to get us out of here, and the remaining scouts were also trying to help us out."

"Hey!" They all turned to see Hitch walking toward them,  holding a newspaper in her hand curled up like a horn.

"Hitch, what are you doing here?" Annie asked with surprise.

"I'm bringing you the newspaper." Hitch said. "Look."

Armin took the newspaper and began to read. "Military clings to Power by wrongfully detaining the King of Paradis, Eren Yeager." He turned a few pages. "Distrust in the Military soars higher."

Hitch began to speak again. "Because they're not giving the public any answers."

"Of course, they couldn't. The power of the nine is in the Scouts, they were so afraid of us taking their glory." Floch said with a sarcastic tone.

Outside of the Military HQ, a large crowd is protesting. "Only our King Eren Yeager can save Eldia!" "Our king's the only one who avenges the eaten!"

Many were carrying signs of all sorts, the crowd was clearly agitated and angry. "The New Eldian Empire needs our King Eren Yeager!"

"There're citizens surrounding the entire HQ." Hitch explained, then she had to leave because of more work.

Jean and Connie arrived at the Military Building, and they noticed some of the Scouts were leaving. "Scout recruits? What are they doing at the HQ?" Connie asked.

Yelena was sitting on the balcony with Pixis. Several Garrison troops were standing behind them while they faced the forest and the mountains. "That day, I did go to meet Eren." Yelena began.

"Oh?" Pixis chimed with interest.

"I'm sorry for keeping quiet about it. That's enough reason to detain the volunteers." She continued.

"How kind of you to admit." Pixis commented, retaining a relaxed and calm attitude.

"The way I saw it, you guys didn't know the world. If you kept arguing and putting it off, it would be too late. Eren felt the same sense of urgency, too." Yelena said.

"So, you convinced the Scouts to infiltrate Marley alone to get our military moving?" Pixis asked her.

"Not quite. I said someone needed to light a fire under the administration." She responded.

"That's all you said?" He asked. "You risked a secret meeting without discussing any concrete plans?" His tone was still calm but curious.

"That's right." Yelena answered. "Given our positions, we weren't allowed to meet with him in public."

"But the risk was worth it for you." Pixis concluded. "You succeeded in manipulating the scouts just as Zeke hoped you would."

"What would be the point in that?" Yelena's calm expression broke as her eyes widened and she leaned forward, her tone far more fiery and less composed. "All I wanted was for Eren Yeager to know who I was!" She declared.

Pixis' expression changed to one of surprise as she spoke, but Yelena then composed herself. He cast a glance toward the soldier standing behind him. Yelena grabbed the nearby cup of tea and took a drink while Pixis watched.

Yelena began again, returning to her calm tone. "No... We wanted Eren's Founding Titan to crush Marley into dust." Her expression was a bit sadder now. "Just like we hoped, he inflicted heavy damage on Marley." It zoomed into her face. "No... He exceeded expectations. He delivered the divine retribution we wished upon Marley for years." Her face showed a light smile. "For him to achieve such things is proof he possesses the Founder." She turned to Pixis. "Commander Pixis, do you know what we're witnessing?"

"History is about to change before our eyes." Her eyes and smile became wider with an almost crazed look. "Two brothers are reshaping the world. I simply want to see it happen from their side."

Pixis then finally responded. "In other words, the main reason you met Eren was out of curiosity?" he asked.

"Essentially. The other volunteers don't know I secretly met Eren." She said. "My actions were reckless."

Pixis looked back at the soldier behind him who began to move while Yelena continued to speak with a downcast expression returning on her face. "It's true that I deceived you guys, but I did it for the sake of Eldia."

The soldier put a book down on the table. "I'd like to believe you." Pixis began. "Tell me everything you and Eren spoke about?" He asked with arms crossed as the soldier sat down and took out a pen. He then leaned back. "Do you know how to tell a good lie?" He then put two fingers on his own head. "Sometimes, you've got to mix the truth into it."

It cuts to a squirrel scampering up a tree where a Garrison soldier sat, eating an apple.

"Good grief. It's appalling that people doubt us after all this time." It showed Onyankopon shuffling a deck of cards as he spoke to Hange. "Aren't we comrades? We sweat side-by-side these past three years!" His look was that of light distress and confusion with some sweat on his face. "The railways, the trading... we made this Island prosper." He then leaned in. "We gave our everything to Eldia!"

"I'm sorry. It's just ten months after the rails opened and this happens.." Hange explained, looking uncomfortable.

Onyankopon leaned forward onto his hand. "Tell me about it. Didn't we swear to work together in the future?"

Hange then leaned forward, getting in close to his face. Her expression showed distress, her teeth were clenched and her eyes wide. Onyankopon had a look of shock. "W-What's the matter?!"

Hange said, "I'm sorry, Onyankopon. But a lot of my members of the Scouts were arrested in the same matter as you Anti-Marleyan volunteers. I also wished that things could be ideal as we both wanted."

"Hange..." Onyankopon frowned, knowing she's in distress as well. 

"Anyway, can you tell me what you know about Yelena for the sake of our future?"

"As you know, Yelena organized the volunteers. At first, people were wary and it didn't go so well. But she got her hands dirty and proved her loyalty to Zeke and the group." He explained as it then flashed to Yelena's face. "There were 'accidental' deaths." It flashed to a bloody corpse on the ground. "We buried friends we ate and slept with. Anyone who doubted us." It flashed to another corpse crushed under rubble, then back to her face, then to a smoking gun before finally flashing back to explaining. "But we pushed on for the sake of our homelands that Marley took away."

"Strange." Hange remarked.

"Huh?"

"She pressed our government to give Marleyans certain rights. You make Yelena sound merciless to Marleyans, and yet on our island... All right. I need you to come with me, Onyankopon."

"Huh?" Onyankopon said with confusion.

Back at the MP HQ Zachary stood at a window, hands behind his back as he stared out at the protestors below. He was talking to the two Military Police members.

"So the queen's husband being a farmer was a lie all this time. To think the Scouts planned the marriage with Eren Yeager and the queen 2 years ago without our notice." Zachary said.

"Sir, what are we going to do with them?"

"Because we know the scouts, with Eren as the King, had contact with the volunteers. As a result, the Scouts planned the attack on Marley." Zachary said. "We're currently investigating if anyone else was involved with it. Although they didn't say anything since the truth came to light. We're still in the dark about what they did during their time in Marley, too. We believe that they were being manipulated by Zeke."

Behind the room, Jean and Connie were listening, and Jean muttered, "Manipulated my ass... if anything, Eren was the one who planned everything, not Zeke."

"And that chair over there..." Connie said. "To think we have to kill the Premier..."

"He's a lost cause." Jean said. "Let's just get out of here before the flame hit us."

Just when they walked outside of the room, an explosion filled the hallway, a large fireball erupted out of the office.

The explosion erupted out of the window, clearly seen by everyone outside. A single human object flung out from the window along with the debris. The crowd stood silently in shock and surprise, everything was silent and frozen for a few seconds.

The object then landed on the ground with a loud squish, breaking the silence. Hitch looked at it along with the crowd, her face wearing a disturbed look of revulsion. It was Zachary's lifeless charred body or half of it at least.

"Jean! You okay?" Connie asked, Jean was just coughing.

Outside several MPs were trying to put out the fires, clearly several were in a panic.

"-Put out the fire!" "-Was anyone injured?!"

Jean and Connie rushed outside. "You guys okay?!" They were stopped by Hitch who ran up to them.

"Hitch! What was that?!" Jean decided to pretend not to know anything and asked.

"The Premier's room just...!"

"Where is he ?!" Connie asked while looking back at the now burning second-floor room.

They then saw an MP covering what remained of Zachary in a jacket. The three stared at the sight for a second.

"Give your hearts!" A voice called out from the crowd.

"Our anger reached them! Now's the time to fight!"

"I'll fight, too!" Another man from the crowd chimed.

"--Me too!" "--And me!" "--Yeah! It's time to fight!" "--Let's show them how angry we are!"

The crowd erupted as the MPs just stood staring at them in shock.

"Give your hearts!" One of them declared.

"Give your hearts! Give your hearts! Give your hearts! Give your hearts! Give your hearts!" The crowd began to shout in unison while lifting their fists to the sky, the scene ending on Zachary's smoking and charred body.

Back in the prison cell, Eren opened his eyes and said, "It's time."

"Time for what?" Mikasa asked, and then Eren suddenly had the War Hammer in his hand, and he broke open the cell.

"Time to get out of here and meet up with the volunteers and the scouts." Eren said while stepping out of the room.

Annie noticed the upper part of his body of Eren and she muttered, "Can't he just wear his shirt before leaving?"

Mikasa also slightly blushed at the sight before volunteering to take his clothes.

Here is a new chapter, and as you can see, the time has come that the Scouts are going to fight back. I hope you like this chapter.
