Author's notes- who else is exited for the next season of RWBY, wait that's a stupid question you're reading this story. And if you haven't seen season three what are you doing with your life. Let's get this tea some milk.

The elevator beeps and you and Ruby walk into Ozpin's office. "Come in" he says.
"Sorry it took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the way up here. It wasn't me." Ruby chirps. You roll your eyes. "Thank you two for coming, how are you feeling?" Ozpin asks.
"Okay, I guess." Ruby answers
"Tired, I didn't get much sleep last night" you smile lightly.
"I'd feel better if my. Bad guy catching record wasn't 0 for 3." She slightly chuckles. They look at her very seriously. "Okay, so that's the mood we're going for got it..."
"Ruby I feel, it's appropriate to let you know that what you did last night, is  exactly what being a huntress is all about. You recognized a threat, you took action, and you did the very best you could." Ironwood tells Ruby. He looks at you with distrust and fear, when he looks at you he sees the demon. "Thank you sir" Ruby interrupts your stare off. What a twat. "Now the general, has already informed us about the events that transpired last night." Ozpin says. "but now that you've rested we need to know if there's anything else either of you would like to add."
"Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you at all?" Glynda asks
"I...I do.." Ruby starts.
"No she was alone but she did have a familiar feel to her. I feel like I've seen her before. I don't know her well, whoever she is" you answer for Ruby "I don't remember her saying anything either."
"She was wearing a mask, I know she never said anything to me but she fought with glass. I don't think that was her semblance though. Her clothing lit up whenever she attacked." Ruby says.
"Save for the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby." Glynda explains.
"Embedding dust into clothing is an age old technique. It could of been anyone." Ironwood keeps his eyes on you. "Wait, you think this girl is connected to Torchwick and the whit fang." Ruby says.
"Its possible" Ozpin scratches his chin. "But we still lack the required evidence to link the two together."
"Actually I..I think I remember her saying something about a hideout or something...in the southeast just outside the kingdom." Ruby says.
"Interesting" Ozpin smiles.
"I thought you said the intruder never..." Glynda is cut off.
"Thank you two for your cooperation" Ozpin thanks you. "Why don't you go spend some time with your team? You have a big day ahead of you"
"Anytime" you and Ruby walk away.
"Y/ N can you stay behind please" he asks politely.
"See you at the room Ruby" you say as she enters the elevator. You turn around and face the teacher's.
"Y/ N do you plan to enter the tournament?" Ozpin asks.
"Of course sir, me and my team are entering." You answer.
"Who do you work for?" Ironwood slams his hand on the table. Tilting your head at him questionably.
"I..I don't think I understand"
"We know you're working with that Cinder girl." He pushes you against the wall.
"What are you doing?" Glynda shouts, While you're trying to push his arm off your neck.
"Tell us who you work for!" He yells at you. Bursting into flame you snarl
"I work for myself and my team" you push him across the room and he hits the wall his arm on fire. His sleeve burns of and you see his robotic arm. "Feeling a bit disarmed are we?" You cackle.
"Calm down Y/N" Ozpin orders.
"Maybe your friend shouldn't strangle me half to death" you grin. Showing your teeth. "I'll be leaving" stepping into the elevator you press all of the buttons "it wasn't Ruby" you laugh.

Arriving back at your dorm you see a corgi rolling on the floor. "What is that doing here?" You ask spotting Blake hiding on Ruby's bed. Crimson's hissing in the corner of the room. You see a pile of dog food on the floor. "how long is it staying for?" Putting your face in your hand.
"He's zwei" Yang says cuddling the corgi.
"Yeah I'm more of a cat person myself" you pick up Crimson.
"Will all first year students please head to the amphitheatre" Glynda says over the P.A. you put Crimson down and leave with your team the puma follows behind you. "What are you doing Y/ N?" Someone asks, "pets aren't allowed in beacon let alone walking with you" they cackle.
"Leave me alone Demon" you growl aloud.
"That's not very nice, we're roomies" he chuckles. Recently a voice was in your head a burning voice the voice of the Demon, it becomes worse the more you use the Demon. He stands in front of you "so last night was fun" he grins with his flaming smile.
"We'll talk later" he smiles then disappears.
"Promise"
"Promise"

"Quiet, quiet please" Glynda says.
"Why does she have a hole over her boobs, is she power girl." You snicker at his comment especially the word boobs as it seems so childish. "Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin"
"I'm bored Y/ N let's set this place on fire and watch them all burn" you gasp at his psychotic words. Yang looks at you hearing the gasp she smiles and looks back. "Oooh is the girlfriend catching on, I think she is I mean she knows you very well. Knows US very well." He growls. "Why did you pick her over velvet, she was nice and controllable. But this blonde she's bossy and dominant. It's the nice rack isn't it, knew it" he does a fist pump with his flaming arm.
"Today we stand together, united Mistrel, Atlas, Vacuo and Vale." Ozpin starts.
"That's nice isn't it, are we all snug in a rug. Can we play house, how about we're the dad who kills the whole family with a shotgun. Are we united Y/ N? I don't feel like you're even listening" his burning face is in yours and you notice he has no face he just has a White skull. "The four kingdoms of remnant" Ozpin's continues
"And he's off again"
"On this day nearly eight years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, greed, and oppression. A war that was about more than where borders fell and who traded with whom. But about the very idea of individualism itself."
"Wait is he going to explain your teammates silly names?" The Demon laughs.
"We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self expression. And as you're aware that is something many could not stand for. As a result those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the many core aspects of art itself. Colour."
"Maybe you should name me Demon doesn't sound very kind. Y/ N listen to me"
"It was there way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither would the generation's to come. And it is a trend that is upheld to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism and unity."
"How can you have unity and individuality?" He snarls.
"Through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond can not exist without effort. Which is why today while the rest of the world celebrates peace, hunters and huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students. You will be tasked with following a professional Huntsman or huntress, on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week." Screens light up across the room showing different missions, Ozpin drones on.
"This guy's so boring can't we just pick the mission already, I want to come out and get some action." He smiles devilishly. "This is perfect. All we need to do is shadow a Huntsman working in the south east." Ruby says. "We'll follow them around by day and give them the slip at night." Yang fist pumps.
"Oooh blonde has an idea, so cute"
"Lets check search and destroy" Weiss suggests.
"Sure" you agree.
"I bet there will be one" you grins.
"There we go, quadrant five needs Grimm cleared out" Ruby cheers.
"Well it is in the southeast." Blake gestures.
"Sounds perfect." Yang winks at you, you smile back.
"I saw that wink you animal." He growls. Ruby types your team name in, mission unavailable to first year students it reads. "Wonderful" Weiss says sarcastically.
"Any other ideas?" Blake asks.
"We mail ourselves there" Ruby suggests.
"It's an idea" you chuckle.
"Well that's one option" Ozpin buts in. "Unfortunately, we decided that the concentration of Grimm too high for first year students. It seems that region is rather popular. In fact I have the sneaking suspicion that the five of you will find your way there no matter what job you choose."
"What do you mean?" Ruby asks everyone looking at her.
"I'm still curious as to how you all found yourselves at the docks last semester. I'm interested to know how you found out about the 'hideout' in the southeast. And I wonder why witnesses report seeing robots and rose petals in a dance club some time ago." Ruby looks to the ground and rubs her head. "I doubt I'll ever find the exact answers I'm looking for. So, how about this. Instead of waiting for you all to break the rules, why don't we just bend them?" He taps a few things on his scroll. Your team is signed up for the mission.
"We won't let you down" Ruby says. "Thank you professor"
"Do not thank me for this. Teamwork and persistence have carried you far, but you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the kingdom will not care. Stay close to your Huntsman at all times. And do exactly as he says. He will be leading you on this mission. And he can have you sent back to beacon, if he finds your skills unsatisfactory. " he walks off and your team looks at each other. "Good luck"
"We have Oobleck don't we?" The Demon facepalms.
"No we don't" you say quietly.
"What was that?" Blake asks.
"Oh nothing Blake" you smile.
"Almost caught Mr crazy."

"Why hello girls, and Y/N" he narrows his eyes at you.
"I fucking called it" he growls.
"Who's ready to fight for their lives?"
