Dianne's POV
It has been a long time since the incident, we went on to get through the salsa week and then even to the finals! I was so proud of Joe, even though Stacey and Kevin had won Strictly, he had went from zero to my dance hero ❤️. The pair of us and Alexa have spent every day with each other since the final, and we had announced our relationship to the public. However now it was time for me to say goodbye to Joe and Alexa. I was going home to Australia, while the two of them were staying in England. I knew that it was only for a week and a half (I can't remember how long she actually went for or when she went so I have changed if a little) but I was going to miss them so much. They were going to head down to Wiltshire to spend Christmas with Joe's family, and I knew they were going to have the best time. But after spending everyday with someone for four months, I couldn't bare to think of spending time without them. However I was spending time with my family and I had missed them so I was glad to see them.

I walked down the stairs, dragging my huge suitcase behind me, leaving it by the front door as I went to go and find Joe and Alexa. I found them cuddled up on the sofa watching a movie.
"Room for one more" I asked them.
"Of course babe come here"
I climbed onto the sofa resting my head on Joe's shoulder while Alexa sat on his lap.
"I don't want you to leave" Alexa whined. "I want you to stay here"
"Aw Princess But your going to have such a good time with your family" I told her.
"Yeah and she'll only be gone a week" joe joined in."
A week... I don't think I'll cope.

3 hours later

It was now around 1:00pm and the three of us were heading down to the airport. We tried to sing together like we normally do but, the disappointment was taking over. I turned around from my seat to see Alexa, small tears running down her face.
"Alexa don't cry, I'll be back in a week, I promise"
"But a weeks a long time" she told me.
"I know, how about when I get back we can do something fun together" I asked her
"Yes please" she said wiping the tears form her eyes.

During our conversation, Joe stayed quiet, just by the way he was acting I could tell how upset he was. I reached over and placed my hand on top of his, he turned looking at me and gave me a weak smile before turning into the airport car park. We all climbed out of the car, Joe getting my suitcase out of the boot and headed into the airport. I held onto Alexa's hand with my right hand and Joe's with my left. If I had it my way I would be dragging them on the plane with me. But of course they have their family that they are looking forward to spending time with, like I am with mine. A week and a half that's all.

Alexa's POV
I don't want Dianne to go. She's my best friend. I'll miss her so much. Daddy says that she'll be back the day before New Year's Eve. My daddy's presentwing that.

We walked past lots of people with suitcwases. I wish we were going with Dianne. Australia sounds nice. And hot. Well that's what daddy and Dianne says.

Dianne's getting ready to go through security. We can't go with her anymore. But I'll see her in a week and a half. Only a week and a half.

Dianne's POV
I'm just about to go through to security so now it's time to say goodbye. I start with Alexa. I pull her into the biggest hug ever, never wanting to let go.
"I'll see you in a week and a bit. I promise. I'll miss you so much!"
"I'll miss you too" Alexa told me.
Next was Joe, I hugged him tightly before kissing him.
"I'll miss you so much gorgeous" I said fighting back the tears.
"I'll miss you so much Dianne" Joe said.
"It'll only be a week and a half"
"A week and a half" he repeated.
And with that I walked over to security, turning back once to wave before I headed for Australia.

Joe's POV
"It'll only be a week and a half"
"A week and a half" I repeated.
Well if only she knew that week and a half might be shorter than she thinks.....

Authors note -
I'm so sorry about how long it has taken me to start writing again. I've had a lot of schoolwork and have been ill for a few weeks. I'm better now and hope to write the last remaining chapters. Yes this book is nearly over, but I'm hoping to write a sequel!!
