Izuku POV:

After being released from the hospital, me and Iida went back to training with Mr. Pain until the final day. On our last day, he looked at us with a bit of pride as it seemed before speaking. "Nicely done you both. Not only have you achieved a goal we had set out on, but you have obtained more skill and drive to press forward." He glanced to Iida before speaking. "Iida, you had faltered near the edge of a path you had walked on. Though it is not the desire you had, you were able to achieve justice for your brother and every single hero that the Hero Killer had either killed or injured severely. Knowing what can happen in your hour of weakness is not a good thing, but it is also not a bad thing. You were prepared to hunt down the Hero Killer alone and may have perished. Take what you learned from this work study and better yourself from it so you will never falter as you did before." "Yes sir."

He turned to me next before starting. "Midoriya, words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for you towards how you dedicate yourself to your comrades and your training. You had stood by Iida and made rational decisions that helped you both in the long run. It is with this honor that I bestow upon you this ring."

Mr. Pain motions me to place it on my right thumb to which I do so. "Holding that ring indicates you as the new leader of the next generation of Akatsuki." "But sir, I-" "You do not have to worry, I trust your skills and knowledge. The purpose of this work study for you students was mainly to find disciples for everyone to replace them in the next generation. When the time comes for us to step down, you shall lead the new generation in my place." I didn't know what to say. Mr. Pain respects me enough to lead the next generation of Akatsuki in his place. "T-thank you sir, I won't let you down." I bow to him with his hand being placed on my shoulder. "It is a pleasure to teach my good friends son Izuku. That is the joy I have been given."I smile at this as we prepare to leave to head back to UA.

 As we enter into the grounds, I notice Ocha coming over. "IZUUUU!!!" She tackle hugs me for us to fall on the ground as she smothers me in kisses. "I missed you!" I started to laugh as she wouldn't let go and accepted her affection. "It is nice to see you again Izuku." I look up with Ochako still kissing my neck and taking in my scent for some reason to Ms. Konan smiling at us. "Ochako, you may want to let Izuku up before you both become parents at the age of 16." She immediately stopped and got up with both our faces beet red. "Outta the way losers." Kaachan came over to enter into the dorms looking angrier than ever. 'Did something happen on the trip?'"Oh yeah, I nearly forgot. Check it out Izu." Ocha held out her right hand to show a ring similar to Ms. Konan's on her middle finger.

"Whatcha think?" "Looks really nice on you." We both smile before Ms. Konan gets a smirk. "It would look nicer if Izuku put it on your left ring finger instead." We go completely red at this realizing what she meant. "To be honest, I don't think your parents would mind it at all if you did. You both truly do make an adorable pair." Ms, Konan starts to laugh as I begin to lose my ability to deal with it anymore. "Enough teasing the children Konan. The trip was long and I'm expecting them to wish to return home after the meeting." 'Meeting?' "Very well, follow me you two." We start to follow Ms. Konan into the school completely confused where were going.

At Ground Gamma

We enter into a building that was called Ground Gamma with the other Akatsuki members inside. "So were all here now? About time fearless leader." Mr. Hidan starts smirking at this with everyone standing around. "It would appear we all have completed our own objective." "Of course we have! We've been waiting here for you two!" Mr. Deidara starts shouting with Jiro next to him trying to understand this. "For those of you who do not know, the Akatsuki are a group of 10 individuals that seek out ultimate peace. The first generation had many flaws regarding in us being unable to accomplish this as we were. We sought this through decrepit means as using power to rule over others and destroy those who stood in our paths with the tailed beasts. We now know that was wrong and wish to fix our own mistakes."

Everyone looked around to see all the Akatskuki members not too pleasant with hearing this. "As a way to fix things, we decided to remake the Akatsuki with a disciple to take our place and do what we should have done long ago. Become protectors of peace instead of dictators." Everyone looked around to see who they were following.

"Sasori, your disciple is Momo Yaoyorozu. You have given her the 'sphere' ring for her left thumb. Hidan, your disciple is Ibara Shiozaki. You have given her the 'three' ring for her left pointer. Kakuzu, your disciple is Ejiro Kirishima. You have given him the 'north' ring for his left middle. Kisame, your disciple is Tsuyu Asui. You have given her the 'south' ring for her left ring. Orochimaru, your disciple is Setsuna Tokage. You have given her the 'sky' ring for her left pinky. Zetsu, your disciple is Hitoshi Shinso. You have given him the 'boar' ring for his right pinky. Itachi, your disciple is Shoto Todoroki. You have given him the 'scarlet' ring for his right ring. Konan, your disciple is Ochako Uraraka. You have given her the 'white' ring for her right middle. Deidara, your disciple is Kyoka Jiro. You have given her the 'blue-green' ring for her right pointer. And finally, my disciple is Izuku Midoriya. I have given him the 'zero' ring for his right thumb. These 10 will succeed us when the time comes. It is our job to guide them until then."

As we finish, Yaoyorozu and Jiro came over to me and Ocha. "Hey you two. How were your internships?" "It was nice. Iida and me learned a lot." "I got to learn to walk on fire." "That is so cool!" Jiro started to have her eyes open wide at this. "What did you two work on?" "I obtained a new technique to use a second puppet in my arsenal." Yaoyorozu opens a scroll for a puppet to come out.

"Awesome! Mr. Sasori must be so proud of you!" "I am." Mr. Sasori walks over with Mr. Deidara. "She's proved herself to be an amazing puppet master. The level of pride I have in Yaoyorozu right now is unimaginable. This must be what your mother feels when she sees how far you've grown Izuku." Yaoyorozu started to blush a bit by her masters kind words. "Thank you sir. Your kind words mean so much to me." She began to bow at Mr. Sasori with all of us being happy for her. "So Jiro, how's the hands holding up after learning to do what you did?" We look over to Jiro who smiles. "I'm managing." "That a girl." Mr. Deidara started ruffling her hair at this before leaving. "Lets go Sasori my man, we got some work that stil needs to get done." "Yeah, yeah."

Once they leave, we take their initiative and follow them out. while leaving, we bump into Tsu, Kirishima, and Todoroki. "Midoriya, how are you holding up after the Hosu incident?" "Very well Todoroki. How are yours and Kaminari's injuries?" "Were doing fine. Thank you for asking." Todoroki started to smile a bit. "Dude, Mr. Kakuzu told me about it. You two were so manly!" "I heard it from Mr. Kisame. I hope none of you were too hurt *ribbit*." "If he was, I'd have smacked him by now Tsu." Ocha started hugging me while making the joke for all of us to laugh. As we walked to the dorms, Yaoyorozu looked at her ring with confusion.

"So why are we given these rings?" "Their used to communicate between all of us using the six paths technique Mr. Pain knows. It's also used to work a special jutsu from what I've heard. Though I really am not sure why we needed them exactly(Quick note to you all, the value of the rings were never mentioned in the series but played no part when Pain no longer was part of the Akatsuki)." They all just looked at their rings with confusion as to why we had them. "Oh yeah, how were your internships?" "I learned how to be even stronger than I already was Midoriya. Just wait, I'll be even more manly than you and Uraraka." "You realize you just called me manly right?" Ocha raised an eye with Kirishima backing down awkwardly laughing. "Sorry."

"I found a way to use Samehada to it's fullest." The sword behind her started to growl a bit in happiness as it seemed to take a more of a liking to Tsu. "I can make explosions like my master." "SERIOUSLY!?" "Yup." Jiro takes some clay and had a strange mouth on her hand eat it as a demonstration. When it spat the clay out, she molded it into a small bird to make go high up into the air before detonating it and exploding it. "THAT'S SO COOL!" She began to smile a bit while I glanced at Todoroki. "You learn anything interesting Todoroki?" "I learned how to use and dispel genjutsu's." "That's not an easy trick to learn. Nice job man." "Thank you."

As we enter the main commons room, we're met by Ashido and Hagakure talking. The two notice us and run over. "Hey you guys, Mina was just talking about you." "Yeah, what was about that whole Mr. Deidara taking you and leaving Jiro?" "It's kinda hard to explain. Uh, you mind explaining it Midoriya?" "Wait, why is Mido explaining it?" "Cus he's our fearless leader Ashido." Kirishima states this with a smile while they look at me for an answer. "Well, it was about a new generation of Akatsuki. For the long in the short of it, we've been chosen to succeed Akatsuki members and become the next ones to hold their title." "Ok, but why did Kirishima say your their fearless leader?" "Because I'm succeeding Mr. Pain who leads the Akatsuki." I awkwardly laughed as the two of them stared at me amazed. "That's uh, that's pretty awesome." They couldn't answer since it was a big shock.

"Oh please, like the shitty need is gonna be anything more than a worthless head or something." Kaachan came out of the kitchen looking rather pale. "He'll do a better job than you could ever do Bakugou." Ocha stands in front of me smirking at him. Kaachan glared at her and was about ready to say something. But right when he was about to, he stopped for some reason. "You know what, I've got better things to do than deal with some losers. Your gonna lose to me next time we fight Deku." He walks away with all of us confused why he isn't fighting back like he normally does. 'Did he learn to be calmer on the work study or something?'

Bakugou POV:

Once I got to my room, I shut and locked the door with the stupid midget not being inside. "Gyaaa!" I fell to the ground and felt the burning on the back of my neck spread across me. "What the hell is happening!?" I silently shouted this to myself not expecting an answer. "The curse mark is becoming accustomed to your body. This is a process that will take some time. Be mindful when it begins that your body will feel immense pain until it finally gets used to it." I looked up to see the son of a bitches figure that gave me the thing on my neck. "Just what the fuck is this thing?" "Power. That is all you need to know. When the time comes, you may even be able to use the next stage of that mark. When you do, nobody will stand against your incomparable power. Until then, you must endure the pain." I look up to see strange ass eyes with no color in them.

"Who exactly are you?" "Someone who shall reveal himself to you in the future. Until then, just consider me as someone that is on your side." He disappeared after saying this to only frustrate me. "Just give me a damn answer you asshoAAAHH!" I began to feel the burning sensation reach half my face to force me to look in a mirror. As I do, I see some weird ass shit crawling up my face.

I try to force it back with my own willpower to what it was before with little luck. 'Dammit Katsuki, focus!' I use my will even harder to see it recede back. "This will be a pain in the ass." I stare at the mark a bit to reassure my resolve. "I'm gonna beat you Deku. I'm gonna show you, that slut of a girlfriend of yours, and all those losers that your asshat teachers chose are nothing compared to me. This I swear." I walk over to the door to head out and start training again. 'First I gotta learn how to become stronger with this thing, then I can win against the nerd. I swear that I'll be the best and nothings gonna stop me.'
