The Alphas and councillors were now in the office, the news of a Black Luna had them disturbed.
"A Black Luna would destroy everything, haven't we learnt this from the last Time?" Alpha Edmund seethed.
He was talking about a time,  nearly two hundred years ago, when the Black Luna turned on all wolves, destroying first her pack, then any who got in her way. It was only by pure luck that she was finally put down.
"Do you remember what her story was Alpha?" Airini asked, causing the Alpha to frown.
"She lost her Alpha mate in a war with the rouges, the heir was a five year old son. In her grief the pack was suffering. The moon goddess decided to help them by giving her the Black Luna." She explained.  "Sadly, the moon goddess didn't understand the power of lose and grief.  In giving her a stronger wolf, it intensified these emotions to a point of insanity. The Luna first killed her son, then her pack before moving on. Her humanity completely gone. This upset the moon, but it was something that not even she could take back."
All those present pondered this for a while.
"So how do we know she isn't making a mistake now?" Alpha Edmund demanded  "Who knows what will happen if these monsters loose their mates."
Airini just smiled " She has been planning this for years now, four Lunas to protect the peace that will come. All strong in their own way, all chosen with strong mates."
Alpha Liam decided to speak up "You said they were strong in their own way, yet I feel you don't mean physical strength."
Airini knew this Alpha would grow to become an excellent  leader as he aged.
"Exactly, the Luna i have been told about is not strong, but her capability as a leader has been shown since she was very young."
"Explain." Edmund demanded. "I cannot, it has to be seen to understand it. She was a loner before the pack moved next to her,yet she led a pack of normal wolves. She hunted with them, lived with them and they respected her even though she was never their Alpha." Edmund was cannot happy with this but knew he wouldn't get any more.
"How come you seem to know so much about all of this?" Alpha Tony finally asked. Airini debated for a moment as all eyes turned to her.  With a sigh she faced them all and allowed them to see her eyes flash a brilliant silver. "I am moon bound."
Moon bound was considered a gift given to certain wolves, though usually female it had been heard that a very few males could be blessed too.
"Then in that case, i will listen to your advice." Alpha Tony nodded.

Councillor Stephan stood up "Gentlemen, i believe we have alot to think about. I agree that if the goddess has spoken about these Lunas and Airini vouching them that it should be enough to calm our fears. No moon bound can lie about what they know." He finished.
With that all the others left except for Stephen and Alpha Liam.
Once the door was shut Liam turned to Airini  " Forgive me for being blunt, but i believe there is more to this than you are saying to us." Zane growled at the younger Alpha. Airini smiled and placed her hand on Zanes chest to calm him.  "You three are the only ones i trust with this information, but yes you are correct."
The three men looked at her. "Firstly, the Lunas are also moon bound, unlike the last."  "And the second thing?" Zane asked curiously.  "The Black Luna is known as the wolf queen.." She was cut off by Liam "Wait how is that possible?" He asked completely shocked. "Who's the wolf queen?" Stephen asked. Liam spoke up
"The wolf queen is a human that runs with a pack of wolves, from what i heard she connected with them as a child at a zoo. She later went on to create a sanctuary for them. As Airini said she hunts with them, communicates with them and her house is in the sanctuary." Stephen and Zane couldn't believe what they were hearing.
"As i said, each Luna will have her own strength, the goddess saw her with the wolves and bound herself to the child."
"But a human becoming a wolf? If others heard about this..."
"And that is why i said nothing, I knew when i met her she would become something to our world, i assumed a Luna. But never did i suspect her to become one of us"
Zane let out a small bark of laughter causing three pairs of eyes to turn to him.
"You were right what you said earlier." He said "But i think thrilled was a bit of an understatement."
