If there was one thought that was going through Tsunami's head right now it would be, AAAAAAHHH WHAT THE MOONS IS GOING ON? for these couple weeks had been nothing but drama. For example, take stupid Darksalker just appearing out of thin air and then just leaving, creating a glow of tension between the students and staff of Jade Mountain, and then today, where a strange disease started spreading all over everyone faster than a SkyWing on fire could fly.

To make it worse, that sickness was contagious. So far, about a third of the school's population infected, and if nothing was done, everyone here would probably be weak and coughing by the end of the week, according to Starflight's calculations.

And what was that rumbling sound that seemed like a million Queen Scarlets just landed in front of the entrance? That huge shadow passing over by?

A wave of terror and anger passed through Tsunami's stomach as she galloped up to the entrance. NightWings. A huge heard of them. But the worst part yet was their leader, a massive, intimidating black dragon with a couple white underscales, three times the size of a regular full-grown dragon, flying above.

Darkstalker. What did that slithering scoundrel want?

Soon, Clay, Fatespeaker, Sunny, and Starflight were running up to the entrance of the school as well, stopping to gap at the NightWings, especially Darkstalker. Finally, Tsunami ventured forward, a worried Clay at her heels, to scream, "What do you want?!"

"Fierce little Tsunami," The huge NightWing grinned, exposing a mouth full of sharp, dagger-like teeth. When the SeaWing's glare deepened, he shrugged and continued. "I am not here to violate any of you, although I might as well have argued with that because what your little students have done should get them expelled." He paused to send the four Dragonets of Destiny a significant look. "But your school seems really in turmoil right now-"

"Yeah, and you're not helping!" Sunny interrupted from behind.

Darkstalker sent her a slightly annoyed glance. "I'm simply asking if we could have a truce, under one condition. I will end this disease, in exchange of having you four and some of your students go compete in this fighting-to-the-death thing called the Hunger Games, which the scavengers know about."

Tsunami, Starflight, Clay, Sunny, and Fatespeaker glanced at each other, then all turned to shake their heads.

"Fine. Have it your own way." He snorted. Darkstalker muttered something under his breath, and suddenly screams erupted from the caves behind. He the mumbled something else, and ...

Winter came bursting out onto the ledge, screaming, "I VOLUNTEER-ACTUALLY WE ALL DO-TO GO TO THESE GAMES THERE'S GOTTA BE ANYTHING BETTER THAN THIS TURMOIL ESPECIALLY WITH YOU HERE YOUR AWESOME FREAKING MAJESTY!"

Tsunami bolted over to shove a talon over the wild IceWing's mouth, but it was too late. Darkstalker snapped his talons, rubbing a strange jagged earring that seemed to be made out of bones, and a giant purple portal loomed over the dragons, sucking the five Dragonets of Destiny as well as Fatespeaker-somehow Glory appeared here as well-and the remains of the Jade Winglet into it.

The last thing Tsunami heard was Darkstalker's words, "About time you met some scavengers!" before black dots swarmed her vision and she faded away into nothingness.
