It was Seven a.m and Desmond was sitting by the couch as he was feeling exhausted. He had a bruised lip, A Broken nose, A Black Eye and some scars on his arm and face. Rosie sat down with a first aid kit as she was healing up the wounds as they were silent. They haven't a spoken a word since They found out about his identity. Otto was holding the destroyed mask as he was looking at him.

Silence was heard in the living room as nobody spoke a word. There was tension in the air. Nobody spoke a word as Rosie finished cleaning up the wounds as Desmond sighed to himself. He looked at their faces and he couldn't tell if they were angry at him or worried.

Everyone was silent as the room continued to be filled with tension until Rosie spoke up as Desmond was listening to her.

Rosie: How can I not realise that? Your always coming home late and your behaviour is odd.

Otto: The University Incident, You weren't running away. You were fighting the lizard.

Desmond was silent as he sighed to himself as they continued talking to him.

Rosie: You lied to us. For two months You lied to us.

Otto: Kid. . . . Does Gionna and her friends know about your identity?

Desmond: No.

Otto: Oh my God. Now I know why Priscilla hates you. You took those pictures of the fight between you and the lizard.

Rosie: Wait what?

Desmond: He's right. Her boyfriend turned into a lizard and went on a rampage so I stopped him and took the pictures of the fight.

Otto: But Why?

Desmond: So I can get some money and pay the medical bills.

Rosie and Otto were shocked as Desmond was looking at them.

Desmond: *Looks at Rosie* I didn't want to lose you.

Rosie: Desmond. . . . .

Desmond: I didn't know what to do, I was scared and worried.

Otto: But Desmond, Why didn't you tell us?

Desmond: Because I'm worried that if you find out, You'll all be in danger.

Rosie and Otto were silent as Desmond looked down on himself.

Desmond: I made a lot of enemies and now this big man is doing everything he can to kill me and take over New York.

Rosie: Oh no.

Desmond: He's been targeting Rio Morales and her family including me.

Otto: My God.

Desmond: I'm sorry for lying to you both.

They were silent as Desmond looked down on himself as he continued talking.

Desmond: I became Spider Man so that nobody can go through the same pain I went through when I was five years old.

Otto: Your Family died in a car accident many years ago.

Desmond: A Drunk Truck Driver hit their car and this all happened on my birthday.

Rosie: I'm sorry dear.

Desmond: You two are all that I got left. If anything happens to you two then i will hate myself for that.

Otto and Rosie were sad hearing those words as Otto placed his hand on Desmond's shoulder as he continued talking.

Desmond: Now I don't know what to do. All the villains escaped from the Raft and are on the loose. I don't even know the Big Man's next move. I feel like I lost.

Rosie: Dont say that.

Desmond: Its the truth Rosie. I messed up big time and-

Otto: You still have a chance to stop them.

Desmond: I can't defend New York. I can't even-

Rosie: Desmond Please.

Desmond: I can't do it. I can't stop them.

Otto: No You can.

Desmond looked at them as they continued talking to him.

Otto: Every Hero's strength doesn't come from their own brawn and intelligence but also from their allies.

Desmond looked at them as they continued talking.

Rosie: You don't have to fight your own battles. Like I said, These Criminals want to see the fear in the innocents eyes. However when one man shows no fear and fights back against evil. That's when they will think twice before they do another wrong deed.

Otto: We'll be here to help you.

Desmond: But-

Otto: No Ketch, We're here for you.

Desmond couldn't help but smile at them as they smiled at him back as He got up as he was holding his gut.

Rosie: So what are you thinking?

Desmond: Knowing the big man, He's not gonna strike yet. He's gonna lay low along with the other villains.

Otto: In the mean time, I'll look into your suit and fix it.

Desmond: No I can-

A Door Bell was heard as everyone looked at each other. Desmond went towards the door and opened it as he saw who it was.

It was Gionna and she was upset until she noticed the bruises on Desmond's face as she was shocked and worried. Desmond was gonna say something until...

Gionna hugged him tightly as he hugged her back as she was talking to him.

Gionna: You were at the rally?

Desmond: Yeah. . .

He hated lying to her, He continued looking at her face as she was speaking to him.

Gionna: Are you alright?

Desmond: I'm fine, I'm sorry.

Gionna: For what?

Desmond: For not always being there for you, For being late for our first date and For always lying to you.

Gionna: Don't apologise, It's okay.

Gionna kissed him on his cheek as they both smiled at each other as Desmond put his forehead on her forehead.

Desmond: You always have a way to cheer me up.

Gionna smiled as They both left the house as Desmond texted Otto and Rosie that he'll be back soon. Both of them made it to a restaurant as Gionna ordered something and their order showed up as they saw what it was.

Gionna grabbed the burger and began eating it as Desmond also ate the burger and drank some pepsi as he looked at her.

Desmond noticed cheese on Gionna's lip as he wiped it off as she smiled at him.

Gionna: Thanks Boo.

Desmond: Your welcome.

They finished eating their burgers as Gionna ordered something else as they saw what it was.

Gionna: Hmmm Delicious.

Desmond: You haven't eaten breakfast.

Gionna: Not at all. I wanted to meet you first then I'll grab some breakfast.

Desmond: Alright, You can order whatever you want, I'll pay for it.

Gionna: Wow you moved on huh?

Desmond: Well I'll do anything for you Liv.

Gionna blushed as they began eating the spaghetti as they smiled at each other until they were done as Gionna ordered something as Desmond was looking at her until they saw what it was.

Gionna: Now for Dessert.

Desmond looked at her as they began eating chocolate ice cream until they were done as Desmond paid the bill and both of them left the restaurant.

Desmond: Gionna, I want to tell you something.

Gionna: Oh What is it?

Desmond: I-

Gionna got a phone call as she answered it as Desmond sighed to himself as he had a thought going through his head.

(Argh Great, Just when I was in the middle of speaking my heart out)

Gionna: *Disconnects Call* Its work again.

Desmond: Your Asshole Boss doesn't have anything better to do?

Gionna: Well I got casted into a new movie.

Desmond: That's nice to hear. I can't wait to see the new movie.

Gionna: Awesome. Well gotta go, See you Pumpkin.

Gionna and Desmond went their own separate ways as Ketch made it back home as Otto gave him a new suit as Desmond looked at the suit before he went to his room and put it on as he looked at himself.

Desmond: This looks great.

Rosie: Not only that. We managed to fix your web shooters and increase the capacity in it.

Otto: And we worked on the shooters even more and managed to absorb electricity in it.

Rosie: That means Electro cant destroy it.

Desmond thanked them for the support as he decided to lay low and wait and see what was gonna happen.

A Storm was approaching and he is waiting for it.
