As the two Spartans returned to the Light in the darkness with the new weapons that they want to analyze and wonder what to do.

(y/n) checked his armored gauntlet and saw no scratch marks from his encounter with Adam.

(y/n): Seems like this armor can take being hit with a Katana and not have any scratches.

Cal: Yep, plus we now know that plasma will bypass their aura and probably the same with the hard light rounds from the Forerunner weapons.

(y/n):Also those might disintegrate them. Since that's what Vector told me about those weapons. They were mainly used on the flood.

Cal: Makes it easier to hide the bodies. Plus we got a good way to combat the flood if they appear.

(y/n): True. Also I wish we don't have to face the flood,and I don't think they have a chance.

Cal: Yeah after what you told me on the ark and the battle of Earth it's messed up how dangerous the flood is.

As they walk to the lab to drop off the weapons they gotten from the dead WF and leave their weapons in the armory as they refill and recharge them. Then they went to the mess hall were they saw their meals ready. They gotten a plate of what was in the menu. When they got their meal and started to eat they chatted a bit.

Cal: This is better than the meals we gotten before.

(y/n): Yep, since the war ended they had enough time to have better food in the ships and they even improve  the MREs.

The were eating away at the smoke steak with smash potatoes and some steamed vegetables and drinking water. Once they were done they were called to the meeting room by Sally. When they arrived they saw Sally and Vector there.

(y/n): So why did you call us here?

Sally:We wanted to share with you want we found out of the weapons you brought back.

Cal: Really then enlighten us.

Vector: Most certainly. The weapons are interesting for they have a range weapon and a melee weapon in one.

(y/n): Huh that explains how Adam has a shotgun sheath.

Vector: Indeed this system allows the person to switch from him to a sword.or any other melee weapon.

Cal: Can we do that with with the weapons we have?

Sally: It might be difficult to integrate this system with UNSC and Covenant weapons.

Vector: Correct, but for the forerunner weapons it will be more simpler to do it. I already have a way to make all the primary weapons into one system including the incineration canon.  Although the boltshot will remain the same.

(y/n): Well to be honest I've been hoping to try out those weapons.

Cal: Same here. It'll be fun to use them.

Sally: Settle down you two. Now that is out of the way. We need to talk about our next move.

That got (y/n)  to raise his eyebrow.

(y/n): So what's our next move?

Sally: We need to give you two a identify if you are going to blend in remnant.

Cal: Wait, are we going down there as "normal people"?

Sally: Yes, since we can't stay up here forever. You need to go down there and see the world. Besides we need to get a way to get income.

(y/n):Wouldn't be easy to take the currency from corrupt politicians and companies owners.

Cal: Yeah I agree,with (y/n) there.

Vector: Indeed it would be easy but,it'll cause suspicions about how you got the money.

Sally: Yes, I think I have a idea. How about we make use that money to start a company.

(y/n): Wait what?

Sally: Yes a company where we sell some UNSC medicine and other non military stuff that is legal within the jurisdictions. This will be a huge help for them and also gives us access to some of the material for a few special projects that me and vector have in mind.

(y/n): Does one of them involve finding a way to replenish our grenades supply. I know we got a full stock of grenades but, if it starts to get low then we need to make more or create new ones.

Vector: I agree with you Reclaimer. Though our factory might be able to make them the materials might not be here or limited. I suggest we make them out of Dust since it comes.in all different kinds.

Sally: That is a very good suggestion Vector. If we are able to find a way to make them into a lethal grenade then we are set. Well now it's time to get some rest after today's events and sleep well you two.

After the meeting (y/n)  and Cal went to their rooms and went to sleep.

*timeskip 1 year and 6 months later.*

It has been a while since they first arrived in remnant. During the first month they went to wage war on the corruption and climbed on remnant. Also Vector has created the weapons switch system into the forerunner weapons. Now they have access to a variety that they can change in a instance like for the light rifle to the scattershot to the Inc. canon etc. Now he has made changes to the weapons to these new unique variants as he says for they are a upgraded from he original.
Now they were making in the news  a lot for they have left one survivor of a raid they conducted to liberate the Faunas slaves from the ring of traffickers.  He explained how they came in and just killed the guards with little trouble. The how they are able to kill trained hunter and huntress.How they look like. How their weapons were different. They called themselves Spartans. Then they left some evidence that proves that there were some company owners who were Byers and caused a uproar from the public and any where forced to shut down. Though schnee dust company was still there for their deals with the government. Although they received a new competitor. For there was a new company that arose and it was called Reach Industries. Many believe that the new company would not go far for they had no dust based products. As time passed on the company grew and soon was a match for the Schnee company. For their products outdid a lot of the dust ones. Their vehicles were more reliable. (civilian warthogs  and mongooses). Their medical technology was saving more lives mostly flash cloning. Since it allow people to recover their limbs and not worry about losing them. Also they refuse to work on military projects. Many Faunas were great full that it appeared since it's CO who was anonymous accept them and were glad to find a job there were also humans who were supporters or tolerated them. The company also made donations to many organizations that help those who are living in bad condition homes to be able to make it more liveable. They have sent their thanks to the company. It also has made them a target for extremist who don't like Faunas or Faunas supporters. Then there is also other companies that try to steal their secrets. Fortunately their security and advance cyber networks they were able to stop any terrorist or stealing attempt. As for (y/n) and Cal they were getting use to being out of their armor. It took a long time for Sally to convince them to get them out of their armor and get some civilian clothing. As for their identity were Cal was Cal Mendez Halsey. She wanted to use the surnames of her parental figures. (y/n) was (y/n)  Haverson nothing else. Since he did respect Mendez he didn't see him as a father figure. He saw that in Elias Haverson. He was there to give advice to him when he needed it and respected (y/n). He never did meet Halsey since he was taken away by ONI to be trained by them and Mendez by their order.  It was also a way to honor him for his Noble sacrifice he did to save humanity from extinction from the covenant during the battle for earth. This took a while but as Spartans they were trained to adapt and win. They did and now they mostly spent their time looking around. Then during sometime they go back to being the spartan and clear out WF bases and other criminal hideouts and bringing to light the corruption in the world and helping defend a village from grim attacks. They didn't do it for any reward or recognition. They do it because they were trained to defend humanity. As Doc Halsey said it.

"You will be the protectors of earth and her colonies."

Remnant may not be earth but it's the birthplace of this humanity and that's all that matters to them for they deserve to have a better future and they'll fight for it.
