(y/n)'s pov

As I was sleeping I found myself being in an endless hallway of darkness. I tried to find anyone but to no avail.

(y/n): Where the fuck is everyone?

I continue to try to find anything else but still nothing until I heard something say.

??: You must now rise young warrior.

I tried to find the source of the sound but no luck.

(y/n): Who are you?

??: All in good time young one. Know this Spartan we been watching you and the other two for quite some time.

(y/n): Why us?

??: To pass on our power. For you all have shown to be more than just a mere soldiers. You have proven yourselves to be great defenders of life. The war you fought in has proven that point. Your cause is clear and have shown the capacity for courage.

(y/n): Just like John-117 said. "No soldier should be praised for doing their duty.".

??: Wise words Spartan.

(y/n): Yes they are but why are you talking with me about it aren't there others worthy of it?

??: Very few but, I choose you just as I stated before. The same could be said about my brothers telling the other two why they have chosen them. Though you need to pass one more test.

(y/n): Is there more to this than just a test?

??: You are correct we sense a great evil here. If there isn't any action taken soon, we'll let me show you.

As he said it judging by the Voice I saw the surrounding becoming beacon and vale in darkness and saw it burned down and destroy. In Vale I see the Grimm and saw dead civilians. This is reminding me of the war, the fall of Reach. I tighten my fists and I saw the dead bodies of Cal and Mike and the others. As I saw her body my heart has sunk.

(y/n): No this can't be real?

??: I'm afraid it is real (y/n). This is the vision of the future. This is why I choose to reveal myself now and tell you this. This can be stopped if only you pass our test.

I took a closer look and I saw all the faces of the dead and I know what needs to be done.

(y/n): I swore to defend humanity no matter the cost. I'll do it. What is this test?

??: We want to see if you can handle our power. Well give you a the vessel to test to see if you can handle it. I don't have much time left I need to leave.

(y/n): Before you go can I have a name.

Draco: I'm Draco. Until we meet again.

Cal's pov

No this can't be real. I saw hordes of Grimm taking over Vale and Beacon. Slaughtering civilians no military. I try to fight but they just ignore me and I'm scared of losing him and Mike.

Cal: This must be a bad dream.

??2: It is not a dream I'm afraid Cal. This is a vision of the future.

I try to find the source but no known physical features or activity.

Cal: Where are you?

??2: That is not important now. I need to tell you that there is a way to prevent it.

Cal: How?

??2: You can take my power once you have pass the final test.

Cal: Wait what do you mean by that final?

??2: Yes as my brother has explained it to your leader. We have been watching you over your journey. Even though your life was suppose to be ended, yet you still fight. Not just for humanity but for all life from facing extinction. Your feelings for (y/n) are strong and not yet realized. This commitment not just for the cause you believe in but to keeps those close to you safe is very Noble. That is why I choose you to pass my power to if you pass the test.

I took a deep breath and I was in hard though by what he said. Do I have feelings for (y/n). If I do what. I did kiss him in the cheek I don't know if it means anything. I'll get help with that later. Right now as I saw this "vision" I'm still skeptical but I know we must be prepare for anything.

Cal: Alright I'll take the test.

??2: This isn't a trick Cal. (y/n)  will inform you on it. I do wish you all good luck.

Cal: Wait how do you know my name, and what is yours since you know mine.

??2: It seems fair. I'm Nessoth. As for how I know your name. We have known it since the day you were born. It's our duty to know all and to defend all life from any threat and ensure peace. Just like its your duty to defend humanity Spartans.

With that the voice was gone.

Mike's Pov

I was seeing buildings burn and hearing the screams and cries of the people. I wanted to run and help but I can't it seems that I'm stuck in place. Then I heard fighting and I saw Pyrrha fighting a tall skinny woman in a red dress with high heels. Throwing fireballs and arrows,but what I saw her amber eyes and I knew that it was the one who made the alliance with Roman and the White Fang. I saw the battle rage on and until I see Pyrrha on the floor and unable to move as the other readies her bow and arrow to  her. I ran as fast as I can to stop or block it. Then she let go and as I step in front to take it. It goes right through me and I see it pierce her and it cause my heart to start breaking down. I try to help her but to no avail. I heard her say.

Pyrrha: I'm sorry Mike. I always wanted to say to you in person that I.....

I couldn't hear the rest as the other caused her to explode.

Mike: No this can't be happening. No I refuse to believe it.

??3: I know that this is difficult to accept Mike, but this is a vision of the future.

Mike: Who are you?

??3: I'm Ragnorock. This will be the fate of this city.

(y/n):.No this can't be. How can you predict the future and why talk to me?

Ragnorock: This is part of our power to be able to see glimpses of the Future. As for why I am talking to you. Is because I see you being worthy of inheriting my power. Now tell me why do you fight?

Mike: I fight to protect humanity.

Ragnorock: I know but what is it that you are truly fighting for?

I took in a minute and as I close my eyes I saw images of sigma Octavis 4 the planet I called my home and all the people who I called friends and family. Then I saw Gamma company and all my fellow Spartan brothers and sisters. Then I saw (y/n),Cal, Slifer and striker and Sarah. Then last of all I saw pyrrha and her smile which has always helped me. I look up and spoke with confidence at the owner of the voice who I don't know who he truly looks like.

Mike: I fight to protect my fellow Spartans and to honor them. I fight to prevent the same horrors that occurred in the human covenant war. I fight for the defenseless. I fight for my friends. No matter how strong the enemy will be I will never give up. I'll fight till my last breath.

Ragnorock: The words you spoke hold true meaning. Your heart beats for the one. I can tell your fellow Spartans fell the same. I believe we made the right decision of choosing you three. When the time is right well reveal ourselves so you all can see who we are. I know you'll rise to the challenge and become our successors. Now you must rest and be ready for the road ahead will be full of trials.

Mike: Understood, but wait what do you mean my heart beats for the one?

Ragnorock: Mike I know you and your other Spartans didn't have a good life. It disgusts us of how you became killing machines. Though we understand the circumstances.  This is the chance you three need to recover of what has been lost. To be not just a Spartan but to reconnect with your humanity. As we saw all three of you can do this. Retake your life and follow your heart and mind. Tell this to the others. I wish you and them good luck.

Mike: We make our own luck.

Ragnorock: Very true. To answer your question. I sense that your heart is telling me that you have fallen for someone. Even though you hide your emotions I can still tell. Mike there is no shame of falling in love. It's a great feeling for it only strengthens your resolve. Until we meet again.

Third person

As the Spartans have woken up from their crazy dreams the looked at each other.

(y/n): You guys saw the same thing.

Cal: You mean the "vision" of vale's downfall.

(y/n): Yeah and talking to someone.

Mike: It all felt so real. Also (y/n)  there was another thing I saw in the "Vision".

(y/n): What was it?

Mike: I saw the woman we were trying to locate. I saw the amber eyes also she killed Pyrrha.

Cal: Are you sure?

Mike: Yes it was so real and seeing her like that made me want to rip that bitch apart.

He clenched his fist as Slifer saw it he went up to him and nuzzle him as he was able to calm down.

Mike: Thanks Slifer.

Slifer:*growls*

(y/n): Well let's get some sleep well figure it out tomorrow.

They nodded and went back to sleep but unknown to them three bright lights have appeared in the arena and once it died down it was three unknown objects in the ground.
