Author's Notes: This is a bit of a short scene meant to be a introductory chapter to the longer chapters coming soon and a introduction to Livia, a older Chambermaid who is very close to Adarius and will be coming back into the story every now and then.

Adarius looked at himself in the mirror admiring his own good looks before strapping on his light blue gambeson and taking his prized chest plate off its wooden mannequin the faulds clanging loudly as it was held in the air slipping it over his head, he was granted additional protection against the dangers his journey would surely hold, preparing himself for the court he swung over his shoulders the cape his father had tailored for him some years ago, it's Royal Blue color was a spectacular sight in the Kingdom as flowers of a blue hue we're rare in the Spectral Wood for that reason they were picked only for special occasions, clasping it around his neck he took in his appearance once more before realizing the one thing missing from his ensemble, the sword he wielded since his 13th birthday, looking to his bedside he found it laying against an end table wrapped in its leather sheath attaching it to his belt he feltana overwhelmingsensee of pride as he stormed out of his room only to be greeted by Livia and her basket full of apples“"Sir, may I say your looking stunning, what's the occasion”" Livia asked in a chipper tone“"I'm afraid I'm not at liberty to say, Livia...If you wish to truly know attend the King's meeting at high noon there all will be laid bare”" Adarius spoke softly before takingana apple from Livia's basket and taking a bite relishingin its flavorr, opening his eyes he noticed Livia's sudden mood change she stared at the floor somberly avoiding eye contact with the Prince“"You're leaving aren't you”" Livia said sadly causing pangs of guilt to assault the Prince“"How did you know”" Adarius asked sadly wishing to wrap his arms around Livia at that very moment“"Your entire mood has changed since that day and now suddenly your back to your old self, one doesn't simply forget their cage”" Livia spoke sadly eyeing the ground in deep thought, Adarius didn't know what to say and stared helplessly at Livia“"It's okay I know what it's like.. II was once young like you”" Livia said turning to him with a slight smile that sight had set Adarius over thetop, andd he hugged Livia crying into her shoulder, Livia shocked by this returned the embrace struggling to hold back her own tears as he wept.
